LCG: Beware of the most powerful god in the church!

How dare you unconverted heathens even think of criticizing the ministry! How dare you! Wait a minute... According to Winnail, even the ministers are sowing doubts and discord!

Crap, they found me out!!!!! There goes my paycheck!

Beware of Satan’s Devices: The Bible reveals that Satan is our real enemy who works to deceive, divide, and destroy individuals, families, churches, and nations (1 Peter 5:8). His method of attack is not with claws and fangs, but by spreading rumors, gossip, and lies (John 8:44; Proverbs 13; 17:9) that foster dissention and division by stirring up fears, jealousy, misunderstandings, and hostile emotions among people (1 Corinthians 1:10-13). Satan will use anyone—friends, family, neighbors, members, or ministers—to sow doubts and discord to do his work (2 Corinthians 11:1-15). He will “zero in” on those who have doubts, hurts, and resentments and feel wronged or overlooked. He can use such individuals to accuse, undermine, or criticize others—which leads to discord and division. This is why the Apostle Paul urges us not to be ignorant of Satan’s devices (2 Corinthians 2:11) but to be able to recognize and resist the efforts of our very real adversary (1 Peter 5:9).
Have a profitable Sabbath,
Douglas S. Winnail

Why is Winnail warning us that LCG ministers might mislead his readers and lead them astray? Sounds like something is rotten in Dan (er, Denmark). Is another split on the horizon?

Douglas's message is an example of today's "Christian" denominations colluding by pumping out the same lies rather than completing for truth.
Ephesians 4:26 "Be angry and sin not.." applies to all negative emotions including those mentioned here by Douglas, ie, hostile emotions, doubts, hurts, and resentments and feel wronged or overlooked, etc.
These emotions spur to action the victims of abuse. Yet to maintain numbers, (and a love of evil) churches condition their better members to be the door mats and punching bags of the unconverted.
Does anyone witness ministers tolerating abuse? Why doesn't Douglas practice what he preaches by publically tolerating others mistreating him?
Rathers it's the usual one rule for me and another for thee.
Douglas has a lot of repenting to do.

The most powerful god in the church is Yahweh, which is another name for Satan, who enjoyed human sacrifices, like the "holocaust," a Jewish word which means burnt offering.

Lies? Doug cited ministers when he wrote: "...Satan will use anyone...members, or ministers—to sow doubts and discord to do his work..."

Reading Revelation 2-3 reveals Satan's impact with lies being exposed within God's Church.

Doug is still seeking, as he has for decades, another Jesus to very soon come to earth and reign for 1,000 years, after which Jerusalem is again attacked (Zech 14). Will his Jesus be busy elsewhere at that time? Time will tell.

Doug does make an interesting point with spirit beings affecting the thoughts of human beings, but that isn't new. For example, we may read the following example of one spirit's impact on a whole bunch of prophets (inspired by something) who would lie:

"And the LORD said unto him, Wherewith? And he said, I will go forth, and I will be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets. And he said, Thou shalt persuade [him], and prevail also: go forth, and do so." I Kings 22:22

James warned us about a spirit of lust and envy impacting Christians of his day:

"Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain, The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy?" James 4:5

Oh, then there is the verse regarding the spirit Doug made reference to:

"He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil." I John 3:8

Is Doug doing other Living ministers/members a service with his warning, but Doug needs to heed his own advice, too? Regardless, eventually the works of the devil will be destroyed.

Does Doug lie when he strives to tell his Living group followers, and peer ministers, hirelings of the former WCG, about doing good works to qualify to be in God's Kingdom, especially when Doug knows that Jesus Christ (not Doug's "another Jesus") of the Bible was perfect His whole life? And that Jesus said, of Himself, He could do nothing. Does Doug have the mind of Jesus Christ, or another Jesus? The One of the Bible had His Father's mind, and spoke His Father's words. Why not? That was Jesus' Father, and God, too.

So, will those following Doug's advice somehow magically "...recognize and resist the efforts of our very real adversary?" Does Doug still put too much of a burden on his followers: Living group members and hirelings?

Decades have passed with Doug's same such, similar, repeated words of advice.

But time will tell...
