Bill Watson is trying to give the impression that his recent breakaway from the Church of God International was almost a spontaneous event. The tax documents below were sent by an anonymous source showing that, as early as last year, Bill was already diverting money away from CGI HQ and into his own coffers for his Medina church.
Don't ask how I obtained this paperwork, but these official tax papers constitute proof that Bill was already diverting donations to his own coffers last year (2024) - not sending them to Tyler, Texas headquarters (see attached file).

There has always been something about Bill that I found off-putting, so this does not surprise me at all.
Back in the middle '70s before I really had any experience in business, I was just this kid who liked to work on cars and motorcycles. (I still do). Church people paid me to go over their cars prior to Feast time. However, there were some really strange things going on in the church along about that time, and it seemed the WCG was always in the papers for all the wrong reasons, sometimes not just in the LA Times or Pasadena Star News, but also spilling into national news.
I forget the particular incident which triggered this, but on one occasion, the chuch hierarchy had made some decisions and had done some things which a reporter stated had "outed" them for what they really were, revealing that the top ministry was in reality "businessmen". Seemed like it was all about the money.
That was water shed for me. From that point on, everything the ministry did began to make perfect sense, if you evaluated it from a fiduciary standpoint, as compared to Bible-based Christian standards or fruits of the Spirit.
One of the practices which regularly occurs in the business world is that people who have skills, and develop a following, often take their following along with them into their next career endeavor. This is why there are non-compete agreements. I don't suppose that anyone would think to have a minister of the gospel sign a non-compete agreement as condition for ordination, but it seems in retrospect that the ACOG and GTACOG organizations, if they were really shrewd businessmen should have done this! Being a minister in an organized church does impart bankable skills, and the best ministers, with their magnetic personalities do have their followings. A little thing like Christian ethics has not prevented ministers from starting up their own organizations, inventing their own callings to justify their actions, and taking on Biblical titles. The most persuasive become as successful as other business owners.
Don't get me wrong, I'm just holding this out for consideration. I'm not about to reinvent myself as "Dr. Bobby Sabbath" and start an ACOG based on Armstrongism, rock n roll, and motorcycles, or to take on Biblical titles for myself. Not going to repurpose a near fatal accident as some kind of calling. Just pointing out that an ACOG is very profitable, considering all those tithes and firstfruits. The tax breaks. The lack of accountability to ethical standards. One would really need to work hard, be smart, and ever vigilant in order to grow a small business into something that grosses what we see in the tax documents above! This is why I've often referred to ACOG leaders as being Armstrong franchisees!
Nobody can ever do anything to prevent people from starting splinters. All we can do is to act as a committee of one, don't follow them, and don't support them. It's kind of like drugs. There's a market for small churches, and gurus in general. Some people don't even mind being owned by them. That's not a radical departure from human nature, jumping off the cliff and going with one. Everyone who takes up heroin knows that they will become addicted, and knows it will most likely kill them. But, they do it anyway. Different kind of high, but cults and drugs are equally damaging.

The truth, however, is that he had been planning this for YEARS. This 2024 tax document demonstrates that he had been collecting and keeping donations to the tune of hundreds of thousands of dollars for a long time prior to the official break. Moreover, we all know that Bill abandoned CGI platforms and moved his content to "Rumble" and instituted his own website many months ago. Likewise, Bill has quietly hosted an independent Feast of Tabernacles for years now. As Vance Stinson demonstrated in his "open letter," there weren't any ultimatums from Tyler. Bill has resented having to conform to CGI standards and governance for years. Mr. Watson feels like he should be able to do and say whatever he wants to say and do, and this past Sabbath he finally had the nerve to step out into the sunlight and make it official. "Oh, the webs that we do weave - when first we practice to deceive!"
This doesn't mean anything unless you know where the money came from. You don't know that this came from outside donations, just based on the tax form.

This is the first time since Flurry that I've seen any Armstrongite minister get "doxxed", at least on our dissident venues. When someone did Flurry following his alcohol infused peeping tom escapade at a local university campus, the documents included his social security number. Just to show you how ethical dissidents are, there was outrage on the forum that whoever doxxed him had not redacted the SS#.
To 6:45: Occam's razor, unless you have deeper information on Bill Watson's revenue stream. Do you realize how difficult it is to come up with hundreds of thousands of dollars over the course of a year as he did? Oh, and by the way, this is yet another reason why people keep their identities anonymous. It is just astonishing how much one can learn from public records about anyone at all these days!

Teddy the Dink then spent his time trying to destroy his own father HWA “with all the hate Satan will give him.”

Great Frustration and Demonic Anger in the Rebel Cults
The relatively little Church of Ted, International was started by Garner Ted Armstrong in 1978 to support his playboy lifestyle after he was openly put out of the Worldwide Church of God by his own loving father Herbert W. Armstrong who could no longer continue to cover up and hide GTA's sins.
When Garner Ted Armstrong got forced out of his first little rebel cult over even more bad behavior, he started the even smaller Intercontinental Church of Ted to support his playboy lifestyle.
All the rebels in these two little rebel cults were no longer part of the Worldwide Church of God -- the one true church. They had been cut off from the vine, and withered. Garner Ted Armstrong and some others had mistakenly thought that it was GTA's supposedly great speaking voice that had grown the WCG in the past, but, interestingly, GTA's continual babbling was completely unable to grow either one of his own two little rebel cults over the years. All the rebels in these two little rebel cults continued to wallow in great frustration and demonic anger as the one true church moved on without them, and they were no longer a part of what was happening.
Meanwhile, Herbert W. Armstrong went on to make it appear to be so easy to grow the Worldwide Church of God that lots of other people thought that they could do it too.
He was paid until October.
Wasn't this reported under their previous name? The one that they took on to purchase their building in 2024 with CGI's permission? This isn't their new name.
Without further details I don't see anything here that contradicts the statements that have been provided by either side.
If someone can prove that they were using CGI's platform to take outside donations and funnel them towards their local account that would be a different story. We get that impression based on what Vance Stinson pointed out regarding their website, but I haven't heard anything definitive.

Bill was on CGI's payroll till July of 2024, and I believe he received several months of severance pay when he was terminated. I believe that Medina stopped sending contributions to Tyler in 2023. "Money, money, money - MONEY!"

I don't get angry over this stuff. I'm on the side that just laughs uncontrollably sometimes while reading here. And if I'm honest I have to admit that sometimes it does give me gas. Which is part of the reason why my ACOG splinter parents have chosen to live in my basement. It's just a shame what Armstrongism does to people.

We invite you to respond to the charges leveled against you in this post. When did you stop sending tithes and offerings to Tyler? When did you stop receiving a salary from CGI? When did you begin using the conservative platform "Rumble"? Why did you abandon the online platform which CGI supplied for Medina? Did you ask Medina's board to consider independence from CGI? If not, who did?

We're talking about a false and toxic system to begin with, 3:09, but hypothetically speaking, if God had anything to do with these groups or people, do you think it would be right to splinter them? One can say that all illegal aliens are criminals. The people we are discussing believe that they have been part of "God's Church". In discussion, they actually distinguish their group by using those exact words in comparison with other Christians. So, in essence, Watson's people have "left the church" Now, reality is they have left the people who had previously "left the church", and so on, so we know who and what they are anyway. Actually, still hypothetically speaking, yet another splinter is simply another infraction in a chain of them.
I certainly hope the splinter phenomenon makes the members who are involved think twice not just about their immediate situation, but to at least wonder about their entire church history! Radio Church of God was a splinter, rhetoric notwithstanding. At this point, I must compliment the one positive example we've witnessed in the history of these splinters. When Bob Thiel started his splinter, LCG members dug in their heels and refused to go along!
Let's use some of Bob's language back on him. Is it possible that God was guiding those people?
Well, F/G, I actually visited the IRS site where you can obtain all of the pdf forms and instructions for preparing your taxes. On page 10, under #24, Other Expenses, items a-d are blank. The person filing them in is the one who types the descriptions and the dollar values. So, while Bill's tax Einstein is most likely awesome in knowledge of the statutes and how to do the math, apparently he or she (or any of the new genders) was never exposed to the text book entitled "How to Rede and Spel Gud" during their education.
This was a red flag you raised, because throughout the past, I have never caught the IRS in a misspelling or typo. The red flag did not turn into someone with an axe to grind's dirty trick. It's possible that the person who prepared the forms is one of the COG members who constantly commits spelling errors while defending Armstrongism here. My opinion is that that person would do better to defund, rather than defend, but that's just me.

9:52 there's tons of dumb things that Watson teaches but that his church is the one and only true church is not one of them. That isnt somthing that CGI has ever espoused.
It seems like every time someone splits from CGI they take the money with them. CGI doesn't complain, they just let them go. I guess they figure God will handle it.
Bill Watchmen did not have any good reason as an employee of the Church of God, International to start a competing ministry. It is no wonder that CGI fired him. They probably could no longer afford his salary.
