Imprisoned Felon Ron Weinland Threatens Ministers With Their Jobs If They Fail To Send In Spy Reports On Members

Ron Weinland has reportedly sent out he following to his cult ministers chastising some of the rebellious ministers because they are not sending in monthly reports on their members.  I have a feeling that this directive is coming more from loony Laura and money grubbing Audra than from the imprisoned prophet/felon.  Laura needs to know that the few remaining members left are tithing and being loyal so that Audra can add more money to her trust fund  the church checking account.  Laura has to get lots of money in the bank account so that when her felon husband is released from prison they can head over to Jerusalem so they can pretend to be the Two Witless Witnesses.

Elder’s Reports:
Some in the Church may not be aware of a requirement upon the ministry to send in monthly reports to the Church. Such reports are to reflect any concerns about a troubling situation that may exist in an area, perhaps some difficult trial someone may be experiencing, or to address some question of concern someone may have. Such reports are mostly to consist of a personal response from the minister as to the affects of current posts, sermons, or other things may be impacting their personal life. These reports are needful to help those in the administration of the Church to have a good sense as to the ongoing welfare of the Church and the ministry worldwide.

In the past, within the Worldwide Church of God, monthly reports were required of full-time ministers for basically the same purpose of keeping the headquarters of the Church informed and up-to-date concerning the Church and ministry. In my experience, it was always an unimaginable thing to hear about some in the ministry who did not follow that directive from headquarters. For me, it later magnified how these same men had a wrong spirit of service to the Church and did not stand fast for God and His ways within the Church. Such individuals reflected a variety of wrong thinking, practice, teaching, counseling, and service to God’s Church. That kind of spirit of neglect and/or rebellion reflects a spirit toward God that cannot be allowed to exist within the ministry.

Since some have been negligent in sending reports, they have either been reduced in their service within the ministry or have simply been removed from the ministry. The ministry needs to be aware of this, as well as the Church. Government, and the administration of God’s way of life, is a most basic characteristic that each member of the Body of Christ is to embrace and heartily live toward God, and most assuredly this applies to a minister. We are also now requiring that if both a husband and a wife are in the ministry that each one needs to send in a separate monthly report.

This is being written because some are still being negligent in sending in monthly reports and it needs to be understood that we are now WELL beyond any grace period that has been given too often to too many. It is for this basic reason that there will still be some who will be removed from the ministry if they do not follow through with this very simple request to respond as responsible servants to God’s Church. It needs to be taken seriously that we are in a most unique period of time in the measuring of the temple and God is moving the Church to be in the forefront of this process.

Was Dibar Apartian Church Shopping Prior To His Death?

Bitter Bob Thiel had this on his blog recently in yet  another jab at Rod Meredith.  It is about Dibar Apartian and how he was talking to various other COG's prior to his death about possibly jumping ship.  This is similar to his previous church jumps as he schemed to leave WCG when Meredith started the Global Church of God.  Then he was part of the gang that stabbed Raymond McNair in the back and helped form the Living Church of God with Rod Meredith, again. 

For a man who supposedly knew BETTER and knew how much Herbert Armstrong disliked Meredith as a leader, he sure was happy to play the lap poodle to Meredith over the last twenty some years. 

The almighty paycheck trumps honor every time.

Mr. Apartian also knew that Herbert W. Armstrong was vehemently against Rod Meredith being the human leader of the church. Mr. Apartian always felt uneasy about following Rod Meredith, since he knew HWA's feelings about that.

Mr. Apartian was also having private meetings, near the end of his life, with ministers of different Church of God groups-one of those ministers, whom Mr. Apartian met with, told me about their meetings in person. Those private meetings were about Mr. Apartian leaving LCG.

However, due to his rapidly failing health and a few other reasons, he stayed with LCG.

He did make it very clear though, that LCG was heading the wrong direction, in terms of doctrine and other major decisions as well.

Mr. Apartian was also very upset about Rod Meredith's lack of compassion and concern for him, while he was near his death.

Rod Meredith had heard about some of Mr. Apartian's revealing comments about LCG, and Meredith was not happy.

Therefore, Rod Meredith did not visit much with Mr. Apartian towards the end, and Meredith even discouraged other LCG members from visiting with Mr. Apartian-worried that more negative facts about LCG would "get out."

Who Blew Your Horn Today As You Celebrate Plagues?

Today (September 24, 2014) is the Feast of Trumpets in Armstrongite mythology...unless you are part of the Church of Malm and you will be eagerly waiting for some poor schmuck who has been sitting up all night in Israel so they can catch the first hint of the new moon, which means you most likely will be keeping Malm's feast day on Saturday, September 27th.

Chief COG Pharisee James Malm now considers himself to be the FINAL authority on biblical interpretation, prophecy and new moons.  Only a back sliding, heathen, pastor worshiping Leodician would think otherwise.

The first visible light of the new moon was NOT seen by any observers this evening. 
 
Although the likelihood of visibility was very slim it was necessary to conduct the observation anyway, in order to be absolutely and totally faithful to check out even the slightest possibility.

The first possible visible light of the new moon will be easily seen from Jerusalem tomorrow evening.

In addition, the moon’s cycle is 29 1/2 days, which means that no month may be longer than 30 days.  Since Friday is the 30th day of the sixth Biblical Month; Saturday [Sabbath] is the first day of the Seventh Biblical month by default even if not seen!   

The Feast of Trumpets, Yom Teruah, begins as the sun sets ending Friday and the weekly Sabbath, Saturday begins; and lasts until the next sunset.

The dates for the fall High Days are now set as:  The Feast of Trumpets 27 September;  the Fast of Atonement Monday 6 October; the Feast of Tabernacles, Sabbath 11 October to October the end of October 17th; and the Eighth Day, Sabbath 18 October.

THESE DATES ARE OFFICIAL AND CONFIRMED.

Then there's the Philadelphia Church of God splinter personalty cult and it's take on who's horn you should blow follow.

The use of trumpets emphasized the particular importance of an event or day. God used trumpets to marshal the camp of His people to certain action. We are to be aware and listen for the trumpet that God’s leader, His chief priest or pastor general, sounds. We should also listen for the trumpets of other ministers of the Philadelphia Church of God as orders are given (Numbers 10:1-3, 8).

 All true followers of Gerald Flurry are in a civil war with the Laodicean's in the vile, apostate, and evil COG's with which they are prepared to FIGHT against:

World famous prophet and Mayan authority makes his children blow horns today.  Living in the Thiel household must be the most embarrassing places to be in the State of California. 

In our family, we normally have our youngest child blow on some type of trumpet to mark the beginning of the Feast of Trumpets, as well as to blow the trumpet off and on throughout the Holy Day. And although the Bible does not specify where the trumpet blowing should take place (hence I believe it should happen throughout the lands where the faithful live)...

 There are many reports that there are well over 700 different splinter personalty cults of Armstrongism today.  Today (and Saturday) there will be 700 different versions on how to keep this day. A day that is not even required!  Did you know that its a day that is not even "spelled out anywhere in the Bible!"  Its another figment of Herbert Armstrong's imagination:

Did you know that the Feast of Trumpets is the only holy day in the Bible where the purpose of the day is not spelled out anywhere? It's true! Since that is the case, and since Armstrongism teaches that observing the day is mandatory in the New Covenant, it has to create some form of interpretation. But chances are if you ask people what the day means, the majority will say something about end-time prophecy, a great deal will not be able to tell you very much about the day at all, and many will give differing explanations.

There is no orthodoxy in the COGs. There is no systematic theology. No catechism. No creed. No unified authority. There is no single place where doctrine is defined and recorded. Anyone can teach anything they like, in any way they like, about anything they like, so long as they appear to uphold the idea that Feast of Trumpets observance is mandatory.

 Did you ever stop to think that this day really means that Armstrongism celebrates today?  It is celebrating plagues!

The claim is that God made a feast - a festival, a celebration - of the seven trumpets of Revelation. Have you read about the seven trumpets of Revelation lately? They are plagues. Plagues! The seven trumpet plagues and the bowl plagues are not something to be having a festival about! They are dark and terrible times. They are a godless time of suffering, death, and darkness according to Armstrongist interpretation of these things. Of all of the events in our history, why on earth would you feast over that??

I recognize that it's not in anyone's intention to celebrate the plagues themselves. The COG groups understand what they are doing as pointing towards the event of the Second Advent of Christ at the seventh trumpet blast. They focus on the seventh trump. The problem is that if Trumpets points to the trumpets of Revelation, then there is no escape from the implications of the first 6 trumpets.  Just What Do You Mean Feast of Trumpets?
