Philadelphia Church of God Destroys Another Family Due To Vile No Contact Rule

The sickness that permeates the Philadelphia Church of God gets worse by the day. Their vile "no contact" rule that breaks up families, marriages, and relationships has contributed to another suicide.

This was on the Exit and Support Network PCG page:

October 27, 2025

My youngest son killed himself 9 months ago.

One of the reasons is because he never got over losing his older brother and sister to the PCG’s “no contact rule.”

He lost his mother when he was 12. Something he took very hard.

Then when I was put out of the PCG, he lost his brother and sister who remained in the “church” and quit contact with me and him. Toward the end he talked about them a lot. He could not understand why they would not contact me, my other daughter that is out of the PCG, or him. He wanted to go visit them but thought they would not welcome him unless he was in “the church.”

But, he wanted nothing to do with that “church.”

Even though my daughter Elise is in the PCG and under the “no contact rule.” Under penalty of being cast into the lake of fire by Gerald Flurry, she did text me, call me and sent me a picture of her son, my little grandson, who it turns out she had named after her brother, my son Sterling, that had just killed himself. And she told me she was going to have another baby, a girl.

So not only did I lose my youngest son, I lost my other son, my daughter, a grandson and a granddaughter.

How much longer will God allow this evil group to continue? How many families have been destroyed and lives lost?

I hope you post this and use real names. –Dan Moffett (Former PCG member)

Jon Brisby: When A Minister Designates A Meeting Site It Is Bound In Heaven And You Are To Attend!

One thing the Church of God ministers have a hard time doing since the implosion of the mother church is keeping members under control and doing what ministers demand. Church members have wisened up through the decades, and many now keep COG leaders at arm's length and do not jump at their every command. Church government nonsense is highly abused in the church.

John Brisby is not too happy that some of his followers do not kowtow to him.

It includes, especially, the making of necessary administrative decisions for managing group assemblies! If God commanded that we appear before Him in a convocation, some way, somehow, decisions have to be made to confirm those physical meetings. God did not choose to provide each one of us with a weekly message delivery service, as by an angel. No, He delegated that authority through lawfully-ordained ministers. When one of Christ's true ministers "makes the call" to pick a meeting place and a time for assembly, then God accepts that human appointment—binds in heaven what has been bound upon earth—and then acts Himself to appear in that particular place, at that prescribed time, to meet with the faithful.

The truth of the matter is that Bisby commands this because he can collect money; he even admits it!

This is a hard saying for many in God's church today who hate the concept of church government and prefer instead to practice their Christianity "on their own." This command of God to meet Him in a place which He shall choose upends the whole notion of claiming that they do not really need a human ministry. In practicality, someone must collect the tithes in God's name, use God's money to serve an organized religious work, and someone also must publish where and when to meet God to fulfill the Sabbath command in full. The fact is, God did it this way intentionally to force each one of us to step out in faith to "pick" where God is working.

If you fail to convoke with an assembly of church members on the Sabbaths because you reject "organized religion" in general, watch out! God indeed did organize His Church—give specific instructions for its practical operation today—and give authority to someone, somewhere, somehow, to speak in His name and to fulfill those physical requirements for the group. Likewise, if you are failing to convoke in a church service because you simply do not know where God truly is working, that is not a sustainable position, long term. If you are not sure, you are not sure. But, God expects each one of us to search out where a faithful assembly is located, and then to act to make ourselves part of it. Sitting on the sidelines because of chronic indecision is not acceptable. Again, you cannot fully keep the Sabbath unless you are convoking with God in His appointed place.

Crackpot Prophet: "We were betrayed by ineptness and probably demonic influence from Amazon Kindle"

What a gloriously sunny day in California, where the sheer idiocy emanating from Grover Beach rolls on without a single pause. Nothing should shock us anymore when the Great Bwana opens his mouth, but alas, it never fails to deliver fresh absurdity. Ever since God supposedly dreamed up this end-time prophet while laying the very foundations of the world, this destined hero was fated to "restore" the one true church and churn out countless booklets in native languages, all to fulfill some half-baked prophecy that wasn't even fully invented at that time.

Never has the Church of God been blessed with a more "persecuted" prophet than our very own Great Bwana Bob! If John Foxe, the esteemed author of Foxe's Book of Martyrs, were still kicking around today, he'd undoubtedly dedicate an entire chapter to the harrowing, intense persecution our fearless leader has endured. Forget boiling vats of oil or having his flesh flayed off—nope, not for Bob. His torment comes in the form of a demonic persecution by Kindle. And people wonder why Armstrongism has devolved into a total laughingstock these days.

Amazon Kindle

We were betrayed by ineptness and probably demonic influence from Amazon Kindle.

The Apostle Paul wrote that the faithful Christians “do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places” (Ephesians 6:12).

Last Friday, Amazon Kindle said that they were suspending our account because supposedly we did not have the rights to publish the meditation book I wrote. This came up in the past, and although I did write that book and tried to show Amazon, they would not accept the truth, so we published that with another company.

When I appealed Amazon’s position on Friday and asked Amazon for specifics, it replied that they did not need to provide any. Early Sunday I wrote again, but Amazon further said its procedures allowed them to do what they wanted. Amazon, also, would not have me speak to anyone there to ask about the issues. And then Monday at 1:33 pm EDT, Amazon sent an email stating that they were removing all of our materials from their platform.

So, we are in the process of trying to figure out how to move all our books in multiple languages to another platform. This will be a monumental task and take a lot of time and resources. Although there are a few possible positives associated with leaving Amazon, this is a serious issue that may take at least a year to mostly (not entirely) resolve.

The Great Bwana's god got so angry over this that he caused a great outage of Amazon's web services! Magical god is all-powerful! Do not anger Bwana Bob's magical god!

Coincidentally (?), I (without looking for anything bad about Amazon) saw that the following that hit Amazon within hours of it sending out a final cancellation notice to us:

Amazon said its cloud computing service was recovering from a major outage that disrupted online activity around the world. Amazon Web Services provides remote computing services to many governments, universities and companies, including The Associated Press. The first signs of trouble emerged at around 3:11 a.m. Eastern Time, when Amazon Web Services reported on its Health Dashboard that it is “investigating increased error rates and latencies for multiple AWS services in the US-EAST-1 Region.” https://apnews.com/article/2025-amazon-web-service-outage-zoom-roblox-down

The next day, I happened to have run across the following from the BBC:

The Amazon Web Services (AWS) outage on Monday made global headlines after knocking some of the world’s largest sites offline for hours. … the outage has also reignited the debate around whether countries, including the UK, are over-dependent on a handful of US tech firms. https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c0jdgp6n45po

Interestingly, AWS typically accounts for 60–70% — or more — of Amazon’s total operating income (profit). If its latest disruption gets major clients to move, that will impact Amazon.

Anyway, that said, Satan does not want our information available and has influenced various other platforms to remove us and/or shadow ban us.

However, as the organization with the mantle of the Philadelphian remnant, we will move ahead. And working on functioning without Amazon Kindle is something that has taken up a fair amount of my time since Sunday.

The proclamation work of Matthew 24:14 and 28:19-20 will continue and we continue to strive to go through the doors that Jesus opens for His Philadelphian remnant (cf. Revelation 3:7-13...

Dave Pack News Flash: Jesus Now Returning On December 19, 2025

News Flash: Jesus Christ Returns December 19, 2025

Despite his waning health, David C. Pack continues to seek the prophetic golden pot at the end of his malarkey rainbow. During "The Greatest Untold Story! (Part 601)" on October 11, 2025, the Pastor General of The Restored Church of God teased that he knew the date we had all been waiting for, even though the brethren were at the Feast of Tabernacles already disappointed that the Kingdom to Israel did not begin on October 6 as Dave previously taught.

Displaying inexplicable confidence during Part 602 on October 18, Dave admitted he was "all in" on the new date for the arrival of the Kingdom, which is now finally, definitely, and certainly at the moment of sunset in Jerusalem on Friday, December 19, 2025, which begins Kislev 30. This biblical fact is now inarguable and can never be defeated. Ahem.

This 7-minute video is a "David C. Pack's Greatest Hits" for foolish self-assurance, unwavering bravado, and a case study of the depths of human self-delusion.

For those who can no longer stand the sound of his voice or lack the patience to endure a 7-minute video at 1.5x speed, here are some doozy quotes that will surely not age well in the lead-up to December 19, 2025.

  • "The only way I could be dissuaded...is if God or Gabriel spoke from heaven with an oracle to tell me otherwise."
  • "It's the inevitable day we would learn which day can delay no further and be sure that we have it right."
  • "It's impossible, it's impossible, impossible, impossible that we're wrong."
  • "This is the day I and we have waited for."
  • "... there's no way it's wrong this time. [chuckles] No way."
  • "I'm gonna prove absolutely, unequivocally, it has to be this year."
  • "It's as unbreakable as a diamond... If anyone doubts Kislev 30 and December 19th, rouse yourself."
  • "...or God ended the book of Daniel teasing us."
  • "I couldn't possibly ever offer another date in their place. Could never be done. I'm absolutely all in on this date. Period. Our official position is that if all of that can be wrong, we can never know when either Kingdom arrives."
  • “Only an oracle from God or Gabriel or Christ could change my mind.”

It will take something far less than this to change his mind, such as a sneaking suspicion or when Dave is mildly uncomfortable.

Some of these quotes should sound familiar because David C. Pack has been repeating them since 2013. The brethren of The Restored Church of God should know better, but they willfully choose blindness because facing the truth about the human idol they worship is too horrific to face.

Pastor General David C. Pack is a blaspheming, hypocritical liar, a false teacher, a false apostle, and a false prophet. He will be the last person in the room to realize he will never be correct about the return of Jesus Christ because God is not motivating him to teach such things, and the Holy Spirit does not guide his thinking.

In the coming weeks, Dave will get "suspicious" and "uncomfortable" about Kislev 30 and pivot to some other date for other reasons. David C. Pack's 136th failure will not tarry. Wait for it because THAT will surely come.
