UPDATED: Rod Meredith Drives Out Last African American Members From Charlotte Church After Calling Them Pickaninnies and Other Derogatory Terms

The Living Church of God headquarters in Charlotte continues its downward spiral.  Everything that has been happening regarding the implosion of the Living Church of God HQ staff (and church) is tied directly to Rod Meredith's actions and words.

Rod Meredith has had a long history of saying racist and bigoted things, particularly when it comes to race.  The idea that he is STILL doing this in 2015 is disgusting beyond belief.  The report below states that Meredith refers to African Americans OFTEN as pickaninnies, that children of mixed marriages are BLOBS with no identity, and that whites will rise before blacks in resurrection.

I should say that I am shocked at his racist bullshit but I am not.  Its sad that a leader of a church in 2015 would be saying such things, particularly one who "claims" to follow something he calls "Jesus."  Because Meredith is a follower of the law and Old Testament rules and regulations he has no place in his heart for anything in regards to new covenant understanding.

There are now officially no black members left in the 225+ Charlotte LCG headquarters congregation. Apparently they found Rod Meredith's blatant and recurrent racially derogatory remarks to no longer be tolerable. He has referred to blacks as "pick-a-ninnies" multiple times during sermons. He preaches that whites will rise before blacks in the resurrection. He preaches that inter-racial marriage is "not good" and that the children on mixed couples are "blobs" with no identity. He preaches that God made blacks different from whites and gave them different strengths such as an ability to be more athletic while whites are typically more intellectual. He states these hateful, ignorant "facts" as if they are scientific and widely accepted. He truly believes in white superiority. Rod Meredith's history of racism is well recorded. It's no wonder that his church is whiter than Wonder bread. Yet, he fancies himself a "Christian". How is being a total racist letting Christ live in you Roddy? Wake up. It's no longer 1950. Your ignorance and hate are no longer acceptable

Why does Richard Ames and the REST of the ministry stand by and let him say this stuff?  Why don't ANY OF THEM have the where-with-all to stand up and say this is wrong?  Every minister in Living Church of God that does not speak out against Meredeth's racism is complicit with him.

Well as often the case with the internet; social media... this source writes in absolutes as if it was true. It is not. Although it doesn't surprise me to see postings and comments leaning 'against' the general-COG in general But this post is but an outright fabrication. Here in Charlotte we've been holding steady numbers with a consistent diversity. Unless of course this all happened in the last two days. And although I've not heard every word spoken by Dr Meredith, I've not heard those words in all the years I've attended locally. This headline and its supporting post would be too easily dis-proven with the slightest research enough to ruin the credibility of those who use this outlet in support of their leanings. Not that it really matters. Cheers!

Garner Ted Armstrong On Members Being "...shriveled-up, rotten, vile, filthy, sinning hulks of rotting human flesh..."

The following quote was made by Garner Ted Armstrong many years ago.  This is the kind of stuff that the ministry, from HWA, Meredith, Waterhouse and most others shoved down out throats week after week.

Is it any wonder that so many in Armstrongism have been permanently scared by this kind of deviate beliefs?  Low self-esteem was rampant in the church and still is today.  What is a person to do when they are told what filthy they are week in and week out.  When the constant mantra is that "you at never good enough" what hope does a person see in life?  That's what lead Terry Ratzmann to murder Living Church of God members in church on Saturday.  It leads to horrific child and spousal abuse and much, much more.

There are Facebook groups, with combined total memberships into the thousands, that are filled with people who have suffered from this abuse and openly speak about it.  Yet the favorite mantra there and elsewhere from present day COGlet members is, 'Get over it."  How does one get over being treated like a pile of steaming shit their entire church life?  Why do so many present day COG member continue to let their ministurds tell them the same thing today?

Elijah Baghdad Dave Pack and His Difficulty In Leading By Example

It has been reported here and on other sites, including several Facebook sites, about Elijah Baghdad Pack's blatant hypocrisy in setting the example for his membership.  Elijah Baghdad Dave has been telling his members for many years now that everything that they own does NOT belong to them and them they need to sell it, mortgage it, or cash it in and send it to Elijah Baghdad Dave's HQ.  The broad majority of the membership did just that a few years ago.  Now, Elijah Baghdad Dave is doing it again.  He wants them to send them every penny that they can.

The question being asked now is "Will Elijah Baghdad Dave do the same?"  Elijah Baghdad Dave owns his home free and clear. Its in HIS name, not the Restored Church of God.

Thank you Ronco for doing the look up of the public land records on the title ownership of Pack's home. Then this indeed is scandalous on a couple of levels which is why I asked the question.

First, the obvious is that he is not following the example of God's end time Apostle Herbert Armstrong who owned nothing other than his suits, but controlled all WCG owned assets including his personal residence. To my knowledge, HWA's death did not probate a will because the WCG owned everything including his home.

Second, it is also obvious that Dave Pack is a hypocrite asking his members to mortgage homes and sell assets to fund "the work" of his RCG fear religion business. Dave does not lead by example and is unwilling to do what he threatens his membership with eternal damnation to do.

Third, and perhaps most telling regarding Pack's motives, is that his home titled in his own name would be insulated from any RCG bankruptcy proceedings should it occur. Unlike HWA, Pack has separated his home from the Church.

Not only does Elijah Baghdad Dave own his own home free and clear, many of the ministry do so as well.  Not a single one of them have mortgaged their homes.  They have not sold their homes either.  They also have not cashed in any retirement plans they have.  They keep every dime they earn when their sheeple below them struggle to survive.

Because Elijah Baghdad Dave has NEVER lead by example, what makes him think that hundreds if not thousands of COG members are out there waiting to jump ship to his superfantabulous personality cult?  Why would any COG  member, in their right mind, join up with Elijah Baghdad Dave?  No one can believe a  thing he says!

Gerald Flurry: Why Dancing A Jig On Friday Nights Is OK For His Grandchildren But Not For Regular Members

Those wild and crazy Irish dancing fun loving folk at the Philadelphia Church of God compound in Edmond Oklahoma have spent the last several years shoving Irish dance down the throats of its membership.  Church members who struggle to live a daily existence are watching in anger as the PCG elite (Flurry relatives) send their kids to expensive Irish dance lessons and competitions.  (See here, and here)  Flurry's grand-kids and other elite children have a royal dispensation from Flurry so they can compete on Friday nights, even though the membership is forbidden to do any such thing.

Flurry has several talented young men in his compound that are musicians whom he has been using to compose some of the most idiotic productions based upon Old Testament hero's imaginable.    In almost all of these productions Irish dance is included...as if these men danced such dances in their time period. They are incapable of producing anything about Jesus, but write musicals about OT prophets.

According to the following quote from a rabid Armstrongite who  feels Flurry has abandoned Herb's mantle to promote his own agendas, Lil' Stevie had to preach a sermon towards the end of the year telling the Edmond compound employees and members to stop whining about all the Irish dance.

These DRUNKARDS OF EPHRAIM (i.e., ministers who are of British descent) inside the Philadelphia Church of God have devoted themselves to “myths and endless genealogies.” With such devotion, they have promoted controversies among God’s people, one of which was the IRISH DANCE. This false doctrine which originated from the Druids has already put a BIG WEDGE among the members of the Philadelphia Church of God. As Evangelist Stephen Flurry noted in his December 2014 sermon titled, “Tip of the Iceberg,” He admonished the members in the PCG Headquarters Church in Edmond, Oklahoma about being deeply divided over the issue of the IRISH DANCE, wherein 50 percent of the membership does not agree with this type of dancing, that they are not setting a good example since they are the Headquarters Church.

One anonymous member from Edmond, Oklahoma has even noted that several of the PCG members in Edmond do not want to attend the musicals being produced in the Armstrong Auditorium. Commenting on the immaturity of a PCG Preaching Elder named Kirk Macdonald, this same member uttered:

“I’ve seen things like that here at HQs. It’s sickening! Church and the brethren should be a sanctuary. It’s not! There are so many social climbers! Even with the musicals, you should see how the actors and performers walk around at services, so much pride and vanity!“

The IRISH DANCING and musicals have produced nothing but PRIDE and VANITY among the actors and performers! For emphasis, as noticed by Stephen Flurry, it has created a BIG WEDGE among the PCG members in Edmond, Oklahoma. The Apostle Paul was right when he said that FALSE DOCTRINES such as IRISH DANCE will only “promote controversies rather than God’s work–which is by faith.” Stephen Flurry even added another controversy on top of that “ICEBERG” sermon, he basically told his son Jude not to worry about the Sabbath while they are in the midst of an IRISH DANCE elimination round competition on supposedly on a Friday. Jude had some hesitation to proceed because he might be called to perform during a Friday sunset. Look at how Stephen has degraded spiritually that he was not even ashamed of speaking about it in his sermon!

Adrian Gray Left Ministry In Elijah Pack's Church Because Of Elijah's Obsession With Money

It's nice to see that at least one man had a pair of balls in Elijah's personalty cult.  When will the rest of the men grow a pair and help stop the membership from being abused?  Every single minister in the Restored Church of God is complicit in the spiritual abuse and crimes being committed against the members.  They see first hand the abuse and do nothing, and many times will take Elijah's brain farts and force them even harder on the membership.

Ex-minister Adrian Gray left RCG in 2013, because: “Mr Pack’s focus on members is to get as much cash from them as possible. He uses not going to the place of safety and hellfire for those who do not give all, and laying up your reward in heaven for those who do give all.”

With Elijah Dave's latest demands for the members to sell personal belongings and holdings in order to send it all in to Elijah is sure to add more money to Elijah's dwindling coffer's. If theses people suffer hardship because of Elijah Dave then they actually deserve it.  How many more years are going to pass before they stop sticking their heads in the ground ignoring the abuse coming down the pipeline from Elijah?

The Church of God has always had professional Juadaizers in its midst trying to prove that every single law in the Bible was a requirement of a Christian who follows the new covenant.  They do everything their power to bastardize the new covenant into a major law keeping issue.

Today the Chief Judaizer of the Churches of God had this little tid-bit about birthday candles on birthday cakes.

Did you  know that when you light a birthday candle and blow it out that you are sending smoke up do glorify Satan?

The ascending smoke of the incense as a type of the prayers of God’s people ascending to Heaven.

The pagans also believe that the smoke of their sacred fires ascend to their god; the birthday candle comes from paganism where the day of birth is considered auspicious for making a wish which will ascend to the sun god [Satan] in the smoke of the birthday candle.

Elijah Dave: Will He Mortgage His Own Paid Off Home and Give That Money to the Church as an Example to His Members?

Elijah Dave Pack's home is pictured above.  Will he sell it and give all the money to the church in order to set an example for his members?  A REAL man/leader would do that.

Elijah Dave Pack has been preaching incessantly about his restoring "all things in common."  This is his tool to blackmail members of the Restored Church of God into selling their homes, businesses, cashing out retirement plans, turning over inheritances, etc. to Elijah Dave.  He claims his god owns everything and it is the members duty to send in everything they have.

Many went out and sold their homes, took out huge mortgages and refinanced their homes in order to send Elijah Dave some money in order to look like they were loyal members.

The question on every one's mind is, Is Elijah Dave going to set the example and sell his home?  Will he mortgage it and give a huge donation to the church?  Since it is 100% paid for, according to public records, it would be the right thing to do.

We all know that Dave hails from the ranks of the most boastful, pompous, and self-absorbed people, not just in Armstrongism, but in the world. Dictators of small countries, while they might be more blindly ambitious, ruthless, and brutal, have nothing on Dave when it comes to other negative personal attributes.

And yet, at his latest set of claims I stand incredulous, as a man beside himself. The 2015 fundraising campaign of Dave's is already the single most ludicrous, preposterous, absurd, irrational, unreasonable, nonsensical, outlandish, unbelievable, delusional, narcissistic, arrogant, greedy, usurping, egomaniacal, and just plain insane tirade in all of COG history. Aaaaaand HOW many reasons are there why we should accept this insanity as dogmatically true? 130? Is he sure that's enough? (Isn't that just helping to prove my point?)

Without further adieu, here's the current Top 10 List of utterly stupid things that Dave wants everyone to believe about either his corporation or himself personally:

1) "[RCG] is the only place Christ's government can be found." (The Government of God, 2006.)

2) Dave is the only man on earth preaching the "real" gospel.
"But a deceived mankind does not realize that the only true hope for its future is divine intervention. This marvelous hope is going out undiluted from only one place—The Restored Church of God." (2015 Annual "Fruits" Letter.)

3) The bible says everything you have belongs to Dave. You don't own anything.
"It’s absolutely biblical that what we have, we sell, whatsoever we have, we give it to God’s work. That’s why we were called. You’re not allowed to hold on to your own income. It’s all through the gospels, all through the book of Acts, and frankly all through the bible that God’s people have things "in common"....You are not allowed to hold on to your own assets. You have an income, you live a wonderful life, life goes on normally. But if you were called by God and you are to participate in His work and walk in His ways, you have to turn over your assets to God’s church. That’s the pattern." 4) "Undeniable" miracles are happening to RCG members left and right, including phantom or accident-proof cars, bouncing bullets, miraculous protection or healing, and multiplying steaks. (Apparently, Dave and I have different definitions of "undeniable.")

5) Dave is a (the one and only, actually) living apostle of Jesus Christ.

6) Jesus must choose the two witnesses from the ranks of RCG. Dave will personally train them and be their direct superior (emphasis on the "superior").
"I state without apology and with God's authority that both of the Two Witnesses will be members of The Restored Church of God. Of this there is no doubt!" (The Government of God, 2006.) "Some day Christ will pick two prophets from this church. It will be obvious who they are. 7) Dave himself was prophesied to arise during the end-times in the Old Testament books of Haggai and Zechariah and is personally spoken of in cryptic language as "Joshua."
"Accept the facts from God’s Word! The honest reader will at least admit that someone fulfills the role of Joshua today. Someone, somewhere—one man—must do this. And realize that this man would (so obviously) be the first to know who he was. Imagine Joshua not knowing he was Joshua. I learned my identity almost four years ago. 8) Dave holds the title of a symbolic "high priest" (whatever that means.)

9) Dave himself was also prophesied to arise in yet another end-time role by the Old Testament prophet, Malachi! Dave has been cast (obviously by Jesus) in the starring role in one of "the most important prophecies in Scripture," without whose amazingness Jesus "would have to 'smite the earth with utter destruction.'" Cloaked in power, majesty and glory, please welcome to the world stage, ELIJAH DAVE! Yaaaaay!

10) Dave is not "Elijah" merely in a figurative or symbolic sense, but he is LITERALLY no longer himself: he is now literally channeling the long-dead Old Testament prophet, Elijah! Everything that happened to that Elijah will happen to Dave. He has only stopped short of saying he's a prophet too.
"Elijah was a prophet. So let's ask, and this should be obvious, I'm not bragging...Who has learned and taught more about all of prophecy than any man ever?...In so many ways I have Elijah's own personality...I believe I will receive extraordinary power brethren, I'll just say that now...and in many ways I already have...How did Elijah escape? He was taken up by angels in fiery chariots including fiery horses...we're in a position to see the parallel: So will I be...Elijah went on to live years in secret in an undisclosed location. Aside from the unbelievable fairy-tale nature of his hyperbolic propaganda which stands so starkly at odds with his utter insignificance, the other problem Dave is facing is the unsustainability of it all. Dave's ego is blowing up like Violet Beauregarde turning into a blueberry. His currency is experiencing runaway inflation. By embarking on this path of continually increasing self-aggrandizement, he's made everything dependent upon momentum. At what point does he lose enough momentum that his bubble bursts, and the whole charade comes crashing down? He's already in danger, having lost momentum last year due to his twice-failed prophetic utterances backed up with dozens of meaningless reasons which proved to count for *nothing*.

So my question is, what's the next step for Dave in order to try to keep up his momentum? What's left? How will he manage to outdo himself in his next fundraising campaign? Next year will he declare himself to be both the one and only apostle AND a prophet, or perhaps one of the two witnesses, like Ron Weinland? Or will his next move be another false step, costing him members, revenue, and momentum? Along with Dave and his ego, RCG is becoming increasingly eccentric and fragile. How long will he be able to keep it together?

Elijah Dave Pack has always been a boastful person.  His track record through college and three failed churches have revealed that appalling tendency to scores of people.

Listening to and reading Elijah Dave's utterances over the last several years also brings that into the forefront.  Elijah Dave leads the worlds most superfantabulous Church of God EVER!  He produces the worlds most superfantabulous web site EVER to exist in Christendom that is filled with the most Godly information EVER gathered in one place.  Elijah Dave is the worlds most superfantabulous prophet EVER!  Elijah Dave knows MORE than any other man in human history.  The list can go on and on.
