Bitter Bob, the Elijah Wannabe, Lashes Out at LCG AGAIN Complaining That Meredith Refused To Acknowledge Him As A Prophet As He Prepares To Call Himself Elijah

Bitter Bob is taking a lot of heat lately from this blog and from inside the Living Church  of God.  People seem to be working overtime in discrediting Bitter Bob's so called ministry.  His anger and frustration at being scorned by his wannabe daddy is taking a toll on him.  He lashes out today, Sunday May 25, 2014:
The Apostle Paul makes it clear that not all prophets. Prophet is an office and prophets are to prophesy.  LCG’s position is that it has NO prophets (which is likely the case as I stopped attending late on 12/28/12).

But it should be noted that its top leader had repeatedly taught in the past that God may consider Bob Thiel to be a prophet

Bitter Bob continues:

Dexter Wakefield continued with:
“Prophets” in the sense of Elijah are rare,
True.  But rare does not mean that there are not and cannot be any.  Now while Dexter Wakefield did not make that error, many have concluded that rare means none.  The New Testament is clear that God has prophets who prophesy (1 Corinthians 12:28-30) and will do so in the last days (Acts 2:17-18).  Those in LCG and all other COGs need to realize this.

Yes, every single COG out there, but especially the Living Church of God MUST acknowledge that Bitter Bob Thiel is a PROPHET!   I mean really!  How could Rod Meredith be so wrong about this??????????????

Is Bitter Bob setting himself up to be Elijah?  The length Bitter Bob goes to in order to legitimize himself is getting more ridiculous by the day.

LCG has taught that Elijah will either be a man younger than its Roderick C. Meredith (Meredith, Roderick C. The Elijah Question. VTE 131, May 19, 2001) or that the Elijah is not a person but an “Elijah-type work” fulfills the Elijah prophesies in Matthew 17:10-11 and Malachi 4:4-6 (Winnail D. The Mission of the Church. Living Church News, March-April 2006, p. 7).  The ‘Elijah’ will be a person.

As far as rarity goes, I would ask, “How many people were told by an actual top evangelist in the Church of God  that God may consider him to be a prophet?”  In the 20th and 21st centuries, there is only one who comes to mind (details are in the article How To Determine If Someone is a True Prophet of God).  So, while prophets are “rare,” and being told one is a prophet by an ordained evangelist is also rare, rarity does not mean that there are none.

As far as “Elijah” goes, he is to “restore all things” (Matthew 17:11).

Bitter Bob lashes out again at Meredith for ignoring him:

The truth about early and apostolic Christians is that it is PROVABLY NOT IN LCG AND IS FAR MORE IMPORTANT than Dr. Meredith realizes When I was in LCG in 2011, I was trying to help them restore much of it; Dr. Meredith agreed, but then failed to keep his word. Dr. Meredith’s failure to keep his word on that and other matters was a major reason that the Continuing Church of God had to form.

As a new prophet and soon coming Elijah these are his qualifications, according to himself:

Would fruits of a real converted prophet include any of the following?
  1. Standing up against teaching wrong materials about Church of God history, some of which perpetuate Catholic myths?
  2. Standing up against publishing “Fundamental Beliefs” that are in error and opposed to scripture?
  3. Standing up against prophetic errors that are opposed to the Bible?
  4. Boldly proclaiming the truth to the world as a witness? See Isaiah 58:1 and Matthew 24:14.
  5. Praying for decades for the gift of prophecy (1 Corinthians 14:1-5) and then unexpectedly being anointed for a double-portion of God’s spirit (cf. 2 Kings 2:9-13).
Doing all of the above, as well as standing up against violent sports, made me unpopular in certain LCG circles.  Because of that, improper statements were published about me  Jesus taught:
11 “Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake.  12 Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.  (Matthew 5:11-12)
Contrary to scripture I was publicly and wrongly attacked in September 2012.  Despite that I endured that and continued to try to work with LCG evangelists, ministers, and Council members.  Despite this, I again was publicly and wrongly attacked (see Roderick C. Meredith’s Accusatory Letter to Bob Thiel) contrary to the Bible (Acts 23:5; Matthew 18:15-17; Galatians 6:1).

Bitter Overseer Bob: I Will Soon Be Reaching BILLIONS With My Message, Yet None of Them Send Me Money! Stop Ignoring Me!!!!!

Bitter Bob has a new letter out to his tiny little flock.  Apparently some of his members have been questioning his constant reminders of topics that COG members are supposed to know.  Bitter Bob also admits he is suffering financially from lack of contributions.

Bitter Bob is being deceptive to his members with the following comments.  He wants them to think he has hundreds of thousands of interested non-COG people clamoring all over his words.  Many of Bitter Bob's visitors are one shot wonders.  They come to him from various "Examiner" articles, his writings on Fatima and other Catholic topics, and prophecy.  He draws Catholics for the first few paragraphs and then loses them when they see how anti-Catholic he is.  His "Examiner" articles take various news items and then twists into perverted prophecy comparisons or Mayan drivel.  Again, these are all one hit wonders.  He is right about one thing though.  Many of his visitors are not COG members.  They are ex members that visit from links on this site.  Bitter Bob needs to thanks us for his increases in hits periodically!

But, I would like to comment that, as you all have probably noticed, in the sermons I make statements which suggest that I am often speaking to an audience that is NOT part of the Continuing Church of God.  A main reason why I do so is that the majority of those who watch our sermons are not part of CCOG.
Bitter Bob next admits his listeners are NOT sending in money to him.  A "great majority" of his listeners do not send him money.  His African contacts he has been all a twitter over and not money producing either. They know a cash cow when they see one.  Most of the people in Thiel's group in Africa have jumped from one COG to the next.  Who ever has the fullest purse gains their loyalty.
And this is true even of our offertory messages.  The great majority of those who watch the Holy Day offering videos do not provide any offering.  So, when I make statements in sermons that you figure that everyone in CCOG should know, please understand that most who will watch the sermons are not part of CCOG and many have never been part of any Church of God group.
A few paragraphs later he writes this absurd statement:

Finally received a report from Google related to April 2014 results.  Between our small Google ad program as well as our multiple websites, we reached over 2,000,000 computers in April 2014.  While we always wish to reach more, we are reaching millions.  The time will come when the number will reach closer to one or more billions as we get closer to the end time.
If little tiny Bitter Bob can garner 2,000,000 hits a month, then what does that say about Meredith and Pack?  They have far more money and reach far more people.   If they cannot reach BILLIONS already why does Bitter Bob feel HE and HE ALONE will be doing a far greater outreach?  Talk about delusional!

Then Bitter Bob lets slip a few more lines of information that lets the world know he is hurting financially.

Due to his COG personality cult start-up he has had to stop taking in "patients" for his homeopathic snake oil sales.  That has cut his income also.  Add to that they humongous lack of tithes and offerings coming in, things are getting rough in Arroyo Grande.

You would think that with such an earth girdling ministry that his reaching millions and millions of people each month that he could at least afford high speed Internet at his Church HQ home. He admits he even has trouble streaming his own videos because he has no high speed Internet.

Things are so bad with the Bitter Overseer that he may not be able to print his his next letter and mail it.

Paper, Envelopes and stamps cost money brethren!  Send it in or I will NOT mail you my earth shattering letters!

If your internet connection is still too slow (as my home one is) and/or you prefer audio messages to audio-visuals ones, go to the YouTube link for the message, click on SHOW MORE related to the description.

Like the Apostle Paul, we are not particularly entertaining speakers, but do try to declare the testimony of God to our people and those in the world.

Note:  There is a small chance that next week,  this letter will not be emailed to those who have requested it.  If you do not receive it by Friday, May 30, 2014, there should be a version available at the Letters to the Brethren link at the CCOG.org website.
Rod Meredith must be having a field day!

David C Pack: What Is He Scared Of? Cameras Now Watch Every Move of Visitors and Church Members

For the last several months David C Pack has been holed up in his fourth floor office bandaging the humiliating wounds after his epic prophetic failure in the Fall of 2013.  Tens of thousands of Church of God members did not flock to his personality cult, the Restored Church of God.  Three COG leaders did NOT die, and millions and millions of dollars did not flow into RCG's coffers.

Dave must fear that this epic failure will bring the crazies out of the woodwork to persecute him.  All of his buildings now have cameras on the outside in order that his security team can monitor all visitors and unworthy church members on the property.

Bitter Bob Weighs In On What Causes Atheists

According to Bitter Bob Thiel of the improperly named Continuing Church of God, here are some of the reasons atheists exist. According to Bitter Bob the mere fact that they exist proves they are fools.

I just love it when self-righteous smug Armstrongites claim to know what goes on in the hearts and minds of people around them while they themselves are most corrupt and abusive.

Did you know the main reason evolution came about in the late 19th century was because people wanted to breed like rabbits?
Now, actually one of the reasons that there are evolutionary atheists is, believe it or not, in the 19th century various male “intellectual” were looking for excuses to not have to abide by biblical standards of sexual morality. And back then, some of them even admitted that is why they embraced the concept that life randomly evolved without a creator God.
Then Bitter Bob has to take a swipe at evangelicals.  It seems, according to him, they are a bunch of oversexed bed hopping swingers that cant stop having sex.  What he describes is a LOT of Armstrongites that I have seen over  the years!  Bitter Bob has no room to cast that allegation considering many in the COG are sexually active before they got/get married. Hypocrisy over sex in Armstrongism is rampant!
I would also add hypocrisy to the list. The fact that evangelicals, for one example, are more likely to be involved with fornication than the general public, despite biblical admonitions against it, turns people off.

War is another factor. Many non-believers point to religions such as Islam, Catholicism, and Protestantism as major causes of war, which turns many people off to the idea that there is a truly loving God. But of course, all scholars realize that early Christians would not participate in carnal warfare. And in my opinion, this is still true of faithful Christians today...
Armstrongites would readily sit back as they see their neighbors taken off to concentration camps or put in prison because of their beliefs.  They would have sat back when the Germans came for the Jews, gypsies, gays and Jehovah's Witnesses. They sit back and let others fight and die for their right to be assholes to the rest of humanity.

Bitter Bob next takes a swipe at Bart Ehrman.  His childish simplistic "explanation" on what Ehrman supposed believes regarding Christianity.  Bitter Bob has complete disgust for Christan outside of Armstrongism so he has to take a swipe that Protestantism is what turned Ehrman off to God.

There are also scholars, for example, like Bart Ehrman, who started out as Protestant but when they learned more about church history, realized that Protestantism simply did not fit with church history or much of the Bible. And while he may be more of an agnostic than an atheist, the fact that most of what is considered by the world to be Christianity, is not Christianity, and this turns many off of religion (though it does not necessarily make them atheists).
Bitter Bob now weighs on on how illogical he thinks atheism is.  I don't know why he is so concerned on how others perceive a "personal" God, since Armstrongism completely ignores Jesus and anything he said or did.  Its all logical to Bitter Bob.  He knows all the answers.

But I would like to add that it is illogical to be an atheist. While there may be many reasons that people may doubt the existence of a personal God, such as the one that the Bible teaches about, the reality is that any that conclude that there cannot be a creator/god are being foolish:
1 The fool has said in his heart,”There is no God.” (Psalms 14:1, NKJV)
One of the reasons that it is foolish to conclude that there is no God is because humans should realize that we are finite beings. No human has been to ever place in the universe, no human has lived forever, no human has been to every possible dimension that may exist in the universe. Since no human has done that, for any human to conclude that there cannot be a god or any type is illogical.

Why? Because no human has enough possible proof that God cannot exist. Doing so with limited “evidence” is foolish.

Furthermore, if the laws of bioscience are accepted as valid, one can easily prove that something outside of those laws (God) was necessary for life to begin and to continue. Amino acids simply did not randomly line up, become alive, realize that it had to eat, realize that it had to have a means to eat, immediately have a way to utilize food (like a properly developed digestive system), realize it had to reproduce for survival of life, and have the means to do so. It is illogical to conclude otherwise.

But, despite the fact that some claim to be atheists, God’s existence is logical.

COG Latter Days Prophet, Talking Crow, the Wannabe Polish Cherokee Indian, Premiers His Singing Site

The world has just gotten a little bit prettier and safer.  Eric King, aka Koga Gawaniski (since when were Cherokee 's Polish?) has premiered his site where he sings Indian and religious songs.  I guess when you are a failure in both the SDA church and the Worldwide Church of God as a leader you need another hobby to occupy your spare time.

Eric W. King's Sounds of Life

You can see the Polish Cherokee in his play outfits here: Cherokee ~ Eric W. King aka Koga Gawaniski

Don't Invest In Farmland - The King of the North Will Overrun It Sometime After July 1, 2014

Bitter Bob is back today with a dire warning that the monetary system in the United States will collapse on or shortly after July 1, 2014.   Bitter Bob,like so many other COG false prophets almost take orgasmic delight in wanting to see the country collapse and war begin.  If it does then they are proven right.  As long as they keep repeating the same mantra then at some point in the next millennium they might be right.

Newsletter writer Porter Stansberry reported the following as part of a long message:

Write Down This Date:  July 1st, 2014

On this date, U.S. House of Representatives Bill “H.R. 2847” goes into effect. It will usher in the true collapse of the U.S. dollar, and will make millions of Americans poorer, overnight.

Life as we have known it for more than 40 years will essentially cease to exist. Our governments on both the Federal and State level will shut down. Banks will not open. Businesses will at least temporarily shutter their doors. I expect we’ll see martial law, enforced by the U.S. military

I believe that we as Americans are about to see a major, major collapse in our national monetary system, and our normal way of life.
Above all, don't take your money and invest in farmland!  The King of the North will soon be marching across the country destroying the land and imprisoning Americans in concentration camps.

As far as investing in USA farmland, the following scripture suggests that it would not remain a particularly good investment once the King of the North (referred to as ‘he’ below) moves against the land of the strongest fortresses:
39 Thus he shall act against the strongest fortresses with a foreign god, which he shall acknowledge, and advance its glory; and he shall cause them to rule over many, and divide the land for gain. (Daniel 11:39)
The land with the strongest military fortresses is the USA, and notice that the land will be divided for gain–this suggests that the King of the North will not care about who owned it prior to his invasion.

The end is coming!

The end of the current world order with the USA and its Anglo-Saxon allies dominating it is going to eventually end. Hyperinflation is likely in the future for the USA dollar and certain other currencies. This will not end well for the USA or its Anglo-Saxon allies.

While your nation probably will not repent (Anglo or otherwise), you can. Do not wait until it is too late. The fact that the debt clock exceeds $17 trillion should serve as a wake-up call that the end of the USA will be coming (Habakkuk 2:3,5,6-8; Deuteronomy 28:42-45,47-52).

Porter Stansberry correctly suggested that once interest rates get up to historically normal and even abnormal levels, the USA will not be able to pay its interest, let alone pay down its debt.
Once interest rates get too high, the USA will have an economic crisis of unbelievable magnitude.  The end of the USA is coming.

Bitter Bob Lashes Out At Rod Meredith - AGAIN - In His Latest Ezine: "in my dream...I called up to him, but he would never respond."

Bitter Bob has lashed out again at Rod Meredith in the latest improperly named Continuing Church of God ezine.  Bitter Bob is seeking to justify his starting of a new splinter personality cult. He does that attempting to quote scripture to support his stance that a dream he had is proof that he needed to start a new Church of God because Meredith was no longer listening to him.

The Bible records that God often has used dreams to give messages
(Genesis 20:3-7, 28:10-17, 31:10-13, 31:24, 37:5-10, 40:5-18, 41:1-32; Numbers 12:6; Judges 7:13-15; 1 Kings 3:5-15; Daniel 2:3-45, 4:4-27, 7:1-28; Matthew 1:20-25, 2:12, 2:13, 2:19, 2:22; Acts 16:9).
The Bible shows that God often chooses to work with prophets through a dream:
6 “Hear now My words: If there is a prophet among you, I, the Lord, make  Myself known to him in a vision; I speak to him in a dream. (Numbers 12:6)
Notice that the above says that God will speak to His prophet in a dream. Notice also:
28 The prophet who has a dream, let him tell a dream  (Jeremiah 23:28)
Bitter Bob mocks others in the COG who have had dreams in the past, but he and he alone is the only rightful man in the entire church that can receive these dreams and interpret them to fit his own narcissistic ego.  Oh wait.....he's not alone in that department!
A few years ago I had a dream, which while I did not understand it at first, as it became more and more fulfilled over the years, I began to understand it and believe it was from God.

Others have dreams brought on by malevolent spirits, but Bitter Bob's dreams are godly.

Bitter Bob now places himself on par with prophet Jeremiah and apostle Peter.
I was 50 at the time (which essentially makes me an ‘old man’ per Numbers 8:25; cf. John 8:57). The Prophet Jeremiah at least once wondered about a message he received and later determined it was from God (Jeremiah 32:6-8), and the Apostle Peter at least once had a vision that he did not understand (Acts 10:9-17) until later as well (Acts 11:5-17). The same goes for Daniel (Daniel 8).
Next he lashes out at Rod Meredith AGAIN....
In my dream, there seemed to be two parallel lines. The presiding evangelist of the Living Church of God (LCG) Roderick Meredith was on the top line and I was on the line much below. In the dream, I kept calling up to Dr. Meredith, but he never would respond.
This lack of response made no  sense to me during the dream. Then after what seemed to be a long time, the lines-crossed with his line dropping and my line going up.
One reason that I did not understand it at the time was that I was on relatively close speaking terms with Dr. Meredith then, so that aspect made of the dream made no sense. Also, since I had no intentions of leaving Living Church of God then (and certainly no plans to start a separate church), it was not clear what the dream was saying. Another reason I was unsure about the dream then was that I had not had any anointing for the Holy Spirit beyond baptism when I had it.
Once more he has to malign and smear Gaylyn Bonjour, with the false story, that he gave him a double does of the holy spirit. There is no way that Bonjour ever had the intention of passing on a double does of ANYTHING to Bitter Bob that would cause him to start a new personality cult.  When Bitter Bob continues to tell this story it is done to malign Bonjour who now regrets ever doing such a thing.
But these matters changed eventually. For one, I was  unexpectedly anointed for a ‘double-portion’ of God’s Spirit (cf. 2 Kings 2:9) on December 15, 2011 by an LCG minister named Gaylyn Bonjour.
Now Bitter Bob whines that Meredith distanced himself from him and essentially ignored him.

Furthermore, over time, Dr. Meredith became more distant from me, would not keep various promises to me, and ultimately stopped speaking with me. And after I got a letter from him on 12/28/12, it was clear to me that there was no way that the Philadelphia mantle could be with him or any of his remaining leaders. These subsequent events showed me that the dream was being fulfilled. This dream gave an outline of what would happen in the future and that has happened.
Next he tells about another laughable dream he had where God spoke to him and Bitter Bob said, "Here I am,, send me."
I also had another dream (and do not recall precisely when, but it was prior to 2012) reminiscent of a vision that Isaiah. In that dream, I recall responding to a request from God and saying, “Here I am, send me” (cf. Isaiah 6:8).
Of course now that Bitter Bob is a global encompassing work, none of the other COG's cannot compare to his magnificence. All any of them seem to do is ignore him.  They laugh at him and mock him for his dreaming of silly things.
Despite what the Bible supports, most Church of God groups do not seemingly accept that there are any prophets today, nor do they seem to accept that God actually sometimes speaks in dreams in the 21st century–some, oddly, seem indignant of the very idea.
Part of the reason for this is that those self-proclaimed ‘prophets’  outside of the Continuing Church of God have tended to be proven to be false.
But that does not mean God doesn’t ever use dreams or have any in the office  of prophet. The Bible shows that God can pour out a ‘double-portion’ of His Spirit (cf. 2 Kings 2:9-15) as what happened when an ordained minister so prayed and anointed me on December 15, 2011.
