David C Pack Says, "Look at Me! Mine's Bigger Than All Of Yours Combined!"

For Dave, it is all about numbers.  For Dave, it is not about people restored to a new life in Christ, but instead a numbers game.  He who has the biggest numbers is the most important.  Like Bob Thiel, Pack loves to use his web hits as an indication on the grand scope of his personality cult.  Pack is not gaining living bodies as members as he still is circulating at around 2,500-3,000 semi-warm bodies.

But how is one to KNOW who is right and who is wrong?—who is a deceiver and who is true? How can you know if I am a charlatan, or the leader of God’s Church? Christ would never leave His people without a standard—an index, a method, a ruler, a WAY of measuring what is true and what is not! Of measuring who is true and who is not!

Growth is the greatest indicator of fruit. (The list below includes other indicators.) Each category forms another fruit one can measure. In this regard, The Restored Church of God is without peer in every category of measurement!

Dave has always, from way back, been stuck in numbers. In his mind, every place he has ever been was experienced the most spectacular growth under his leadership. Part of the reason was that when Dave could not really grow his church congregation, he'd redraw the church boundries of his and that of other churches around him to take in more members that would normally attend in neighboring churches. I had a few members come to me pointing out that they received letters from Dave telling them of "the change" and they should attend his church. This was without the next door minister knowing anything about it until after the fact, from my understanding.

Dave sees demons in all things that go against his plans. He had a chat with my sister once because my niece, a baby on the floor in his church service in Rochester, was making noise as kids do. Dave told her the child had a demon and the demon was trying to disrupt his sermon. It's always about Dave.

My bottom line view of Dave is that he is a dangerous personality. Whatever mental issues he has could probably be sorted out by just letting a qualified person read his writings. While Dave says ridiculous things and comes to foolish and stupid theological conclusions about his role in this world and place in scriptures, I dont think it is one bit funny.

I know the people he has torn up. I listen to the stories and have heard them all life. I first ran across Dave when I was 18 and he was 20. He has not changed one bit but just gotten worse. He was crushed when taken into NYC under another minister for "rehab" which the minister assured me personally was not and could not work with Dave. Dave works for no one and listens to no one. Never has and never will. He said he was behaving just enough to get free of not being in charge yet, but when back on his own would return to being himself which was very very true.

With all due respect for the genuine hopes and theological views of RCG members, after all the begging for money, the "I see me in the Bible," and stress he puts on you, you need your heads examined...

Armstrongism, especially in its more extreme forms is either embraced by the mentally ill, or causes mental illness. Dave Pack exemplifies this!

I SAY:
Could have been that the innocent baby of your niece, being more pure of spirit than Dave, was upset by Pack in their inner spirit compass. No the Demon was Dave Pack and even a babe could know it.

I we to one service at the RCG the "sermonette" was given by a guy who was trying to talk about the 144,000 and he asked "and we all want to be part of the 144,000, don't we ?" Then "mr David C Pack" came up and started talking about GREED (he turned up the volum when he said the word greed, he got loud a few times actually). I looked around at the people i the "meeting room" and the seemed mesmerized and were just staring at theis guy Pack; it was freaky! The whole experience was like the twilight zone. It was a cold March day and one of the (I realize now) ministers said with a kooky grin " what a beautiful spring morning". It was freaking freezing out and not a speck of green anywhere, I replied (in front of a few people), "well, it's getting there", you would have thought I had just farted at the Sunday dinner table, the looks I got. Like how dare you say anything in any way contrary th what the minister says. One definitely has to shut up and put out to be part of the Pack group. The man is suffering from deep down feelings of inadequacy. He is over compensating. He is not satisfied with who he is, he need the adulation. He needs a lesson in humility. I pray that God will slap him down and show the cult members that thier man Dave has no special protection nor is he anything other than a con man; with a severe mental disorder.
