Dave Pack and his "Four Carpenters" to destroy Dome of the Rock

God has apparently been really busy in Wadsworth delivering messages to the leader of the most superfantabulous Church of God leader EVER!  No Church of God leader has ever dreamed up such a ludicrous scenario such as this, though many have tried in the past.
In this series of sermons and videos, David Pack states the building of the third temple In Jerusalem will be started by four angels called four carpenters, Zechariah 1:20 – 2:2. He says in the sermon, they will literally smash the Dome of the Rock, and lay the foundation and the inner room for Christ to come, Zechariah 2:1 – Revelation 11:1, and dwell in this “first dominion”, Micah 4:8. This will cause the rupture, or the breaking of “bands” stated in Zechariah 11:7, 14, because the world will be so angry with the Jews, especially the United Sates, because they will think they did this. He says when Christ comes to this temple laid down by the angels, he will come in great darkness, Isaiah 60:2. This he says, means a literal darkness. The whole world will go black and Christ will descend to this new temple as a shining light, Isaiah 60:1. He stresses the term, “in the last days” in Micah 4:1 and Isaiah 2:2, as proof this is before Christ’s second coming. In other words there is a “third” coming when Christ comes to the Mount of Olives in full glory. The second coming will be to this new temple in Mount Zion, Jerusalem. He also states many people (mainly the rich Jews of the world) will come to finish the temple in its full glory. Zechariah 6:12-15. In this first dominion, Christ will establish peace and harmony on earth. He will re-do the earth and make it like the Garden of Eden, using Isaiah 60:2-4, the scripture used to describe the actual millennium. In other words, God will give people a taste of the millennium first, a kind of preview, where He will give everyone on earth a chance to live God’s way, before bringing the great tribulation. He also sites Isaiah 11:6-9, and Isaiah 35:1, 2, as this first dominion, more millennial scriptures. He uses many of these.

Dave Pack is starting to sound as delusional as Bob Elijah Elisha Amos Thiel!

What a terrible thing to say. Considering the tragic history of what HWA fan Michael Denis Rohan did in 1969 it is particularly disgusting for any COG minister to say such things.

Also considering the tense situation in the Holy Land it seems most irresponsible to promote an idea like this. It is just horrifying that something like this is said.

And why is there this fixation on "rich Jews" in this writing from RCG? ["He also states many people (mainly the rich Jews of the world)"] We need to get away from dehumanizing stereotypes. Just like any other people among the Jews some are rich, some are poor. Some are right wing. Some are left wing. Some are religious. Some are Atheist. We must not stereotype people.

I used to hear all this kind of talk when visiting psych wards . Carpenter Angels?
Dave's Christ is too small. With the advent of the Hubbel Telescope I think we have a better perspective on the universe and the "heavens" than the Bronze Age Magicians and psycho prophets did.

Preparing a room in the Temple for Christ? Really.... Dave is going to crack up eventually....

Jim Jones.
Wake up sheeple!

If eagles are angels, maybe that could explain the strategic location of his church?

The Four Carpenters?

Sounds like a reunion tour band that plays Indian Casinos. I hope they are at least half as good as Richard and Karen were!

I think the tense is already past, Dennis. Someone should send Dave the phone number to the Journal. His message has finally come to the point where he is ready for the paid advertisement section.

It’s very sad when we ponder what is actually happening in our world today.
How many realize that Revelation 11:1 is being fulfilled as we speak. I mean that literally, as what we speak is a judgment of our beliefs.
It is a world of confusion where everyone has created their own god to whom they dictate the rules of worship.
A world where “I know” is replaced with “I think” or “I believe”, for example.
Be it from the Holy Scriptures or some man divined writing, we glean that which we want our god to be. We determine the principals our self-created god must adhere to until such time as we decide otherwise.
Based on these principals we have the extremes of Dave Pack, Bob Thiel and others.
Odd how they all equate salvation, which is their professed goal, on attaining their form of righteousness.
Gal 3:6 Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.

Because Abraham believed God, he was considered righteous.
How many can be considered righteous based on that principal?
Luke 18:11 The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican.
Without exception, the COG ministry/leaders fulfill the principal of Luke 18:11. They all condemn those who fail to agree with their perception of god.

Dare we take it one step further and ask, how many of us also fulfill/live by that very same principal?
1Peter 4:17 For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?
Note that it’s the “gospel of God”, not the gospel of Dave Pack and all others.
1Peter 4:18 And if the righteous (those that believe God) scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?

A little food for thought.

Years ago already, someone who had been in the Restored Church of God said that David C. Pack changes his mind more than anyone else he knows. The person made that comment even before the following major changes were made:

David C. Pack criticized Ronald E. Weinland for being a writer of fiction, due to Ronald E. Weinland's prophetic guesses that failed. Now, David C. Pack has come up with his own August 31, 2013 prophetic guess that failed.

David C. Pack said that Herbert W. Armstrong had restored ALL things. Now, David C. Pack has “restored” the idea of “common.”

David C. Pack criticized Roderick C. Meredith for not believing that Herbert W. Armstrong was the Elijah, and accused Roderick C. Meredith of secretly desiring to be the Elijah himself. Now, David C. Pack claims to be the Elijah.

David C. Pack criticized Gerald R. Flurry for taking Jesus' title of That Prophet. Now, David C. Pack claims to be That Prophet.

What terrible things you say, Redfox.

The really tragic history is that the Jews sinned so badly that they lost their temple, and Muslims erected some unauthorized structures on the temple mount. It is particularly disgusting that the Muslims have no respect for the Jewish people's holy site.

Some day God will have His temple rebuilt. Some day you will have to get used to that idea, or become a Deadfox.

Umm, you do know that most Jews believe themselves to be too unclean to set foot on the Mount, right? Even the rabbis who do push for access warn against entering the Dome for fear of someone stepping on the sacred ground of the Holy of Holies? That's why Israel quickly ceded the site management to the Waqf after the Six Day War.

I think I did read quite some time ago that the mosque was originally built by a friendly Caliph or Imam, I can't remember which, as a Jewish synagogue. Also, there was a plaque attached to the building verifying this action.

An interesting Wikipedia rundown found HERE and another HERE.

Whether we like it or not, the Muslim religion is an Abrahamic religion and Muslims recognize Jerusalem and the temple mount to be holy sites, just as do Jews and Christians. Many of them are descendants of Ishmael.

The return of Jesus Christ isn't supposed to usher in some sort of Jewish exclusivism. It is to unify the world's population in truth. Lamb power. This would mean that Jerusalem and the temple becomes everyone's holy site, and war and strife over it ceases so that all can enjoy them.

If you read Josephus, you will realize that Jerusalem fell and was destroyed primarily because there were three internal warring factions of the Jews who could not agree with one another, and made war amongst themselves. The Romans had considered Jerusalem to be one of four exemplary cities of their empire, one that was to be preserved at all costs. One or more of the internal factions wanted to make war against the Romans, and in quelling that, Jerusalem was destroyed. As that was occurring, many of the deprived and depraved conditions mentioned by Jesus and in Revelation were present. No lessons were learned in 70 AD. A little over 40 years later, what little was left was destroyed as a result of the bar Kochba rebellion.

8.49PM. I concluded that the solution to people creating their personal god and teaching accordingly (called creating your own alternate reality today), is to read self help books. Their map of reality is far superior to that taught in the churches. Start by using Christs explanation for healing on the Sabbath, 'to save life and do good'(commonly expressed today as the preservation of life and the achievement of success) as the foundation of a moral code.

What actually happened is that immediately after the Six Day War in 1967 a godless, unbelieving Jew by the name of Moshe Dayan screwed up and basically handed the temple mount over to the Muslims, since he did not care about it.

Why not just install a Starbucks on the temple mount, change it to a Christian megachurch with Creflo Dollar, Paula White, Rod Parsley, Mark Driscoll, Benny Hinn, John Hagee, Charles Stanley, Juanita Bynum, and Robert Tilton(that one's just for farts and giggles) as rotating co-pastors (to make your head spin)?

The US Armed Forces- led by David Barton- could plant US flags within and around it, and protect it from people who don't have the Holy Spirit.

(Only the TRUE Holy Spirit recognizes that Ketchup should count as a vegetable in school meals, and that the Koch Brothers were wise in using their Jesus-given money to wage war against a modest tax hike that would have helped fund the Columbus Zoo.)

Needless to say, Jack Hanna (of Columbus Zoo fame) will NOT be allowed on Temple Mount turf.

To me this post smacks of a lcg minister. Rejoicing in persecution!!! Wonder if he would be rejoicing if he was about to have his head loped off because of his beliefs. Calling Rod Spanky is real persecution. Or stating that their leaders don't know beans about prophecy. Yep that is persecution. The person who wrote this is pretty sure about his salvation because he had the truth. He hopes we can become righteous like he is. Lord I thank thee that I am not like those sinners on this blog

But you are, Floyd. The inability to understand that pretty much confirms it. Keep reading, my friend, keep reading.
