Is David C Pack Having Trouble With Real Estate Demons?

Even though Dave Pack runs the most superfantabulous Church of God to ever exist, it seems no one is interested in his less than spectacular home he is trying to sell.

A $25,000 price drop is pretty high to start off with.   Perhaps he could let Dale Schurter move in for his retirement.

You can check out the superfantabulous interior of the home here:  402 Pheasant Run, Wadsworth

How's it feel to have to put your money where your mouth is Dave? I'm sure that's a new one for you! As he is always telling the membership that they should not hold out for a higher price on things they are selling for the "work" and just take what they can get for it- as the "work" needs the money now! Good thing I never fell for the "common" doctrine! Of course Dave doesn't really do common- he just rips off people and whatever he gets from the sale of his house will go into his personal bank account! And his new house on campus is paid for off of the backs of his members.

Dave needs to bury a St Anthony statue upside down in the rear corner of his garden.
This will help.
This is the same churches of God that teach that its members will be co-saviors with Christ in the 'millennium' just as the Catholics teach that Mary is co-redeemer with Christ.
Redeemer= savior. Nothing different between the religions.
Catholics believe they must perform certain acts to be saved so do the Churches of God(atonement, feasts, etc.) You are doomed if you don't do these things.
So St Anthony is appropriate.

I hope these interior shots are all staging furniture, if not then Dave has absolutely no taste or refinement when it comes to home furnishings. Being trained at the feet of Herbert Armstrong must have went straight over his head. HWA would be appalled at the look of this house. There is enough honey oak to make a person nauseous.

This reminds me of the Simpsons episode where Marge Simpson is trying to sell a house where a murder took place. She lied to sell the place. The former owners does effect the price.

Maybe he should stick St Anthony up his bum!!!

Maybe he should call a fast?

Dave, just leave the home for the widows and orphans. But you cannot, since that would be practicing true Christianity.

Whazzamatter, Dave??

Kind of Tough the public can't be forced to pay what you want, Huh?

Too Bad.

Funny thing about the free market, Dave. Most buyers out there actually demand value for their money, they won't take the stuff you "shovel" out in church.

Maybe he could remodel it so it will accommodate Irish dancing.

How safe is it living in the house bought from a abusive cult leader. What if former members don't realise that new people have moved in? With all the people Dave has legally swindled out of their life savings, it's hardly surprising that he wants to sell and move into a safe guarded compound. It's common sense that former members are demanding their money back, and threatening to get nasty. After all, it's not pleasant living under a bridge, a common fate of his followers.

Maybe we should send a priest in to bless the house and see what happens...

Well, putting down the decorating is petty and catty , Dave's weirdness aside.
The furniture is mid 1980's and has not been updated but then 'updating' is a relatively new thing for people with money to burn.
But the swags, the puffy valences are all very 80's style. Nothing wrong with it , it is just an older style.
In my day people had furniture for most of their married life. In my childhood in the 50's many older people still had furniture from the turn of the century and the 20's, especially the Craftsmen style.
It could be this house was decorated by his first wife and never changed which would be kind of sad for the new wife really.
Other than that it is neat and clean and livable though out of date.

Let's stick to the real subject which is ministry that lives pretty well off the membership without ever really 'giving back' anything of worth.

It would be interesting to know if this was the house as it was when the first Mrs.P was alive or not.
Again, as I said, this would indicate something else going on.

anonymous 10:42 Are you going to pay for the updating?
Of course it would give you more to bitch about. "Oh that horrible man using money to update his home. Wasn't it good enough for him? Most of us poor folk make do with what we have and this man spends, spends, spends."

Not a Dave fan but I mean, come on.

According to the listing, Dave bought the house for $282,900 on 2/2/96. He listed it for $349,900 on 5/18/16 and has cut the price three times, currently to $299,900.

sounds like some RCG devotees are here.....

7. AM you are ignoring that his money wasn't honestly earned. Dave has deceived many of his church members to donate all to his church. This includes their homes via mortgages, their savings, and retirement funds. Some have done this.
It's very offensive for his broke, near homeless victims, to see him financially prosper.

You'd expect to see a higher standard of humanity exemplified by a preacher. Obviously, we've all witnessed secular bosses cutting employee benefits or work hours one week and buying a new Corvette or Tesla the next, but a certain percentage of employers are oblivious to their image and the morale factors for which they set the tone.

The problem in an ACOG is that members do not receive spiritual mentorship. Their tithes and offerings purchase cruel authoritarianism, domination of the spirit, and often slander and humiliation in return.

You can't just up and sell the David W Packstrong Cultural Center!

sorry...I meant The Davebert CW Packstrong Cultural Center

Maybe he should "do a Jesus", and stick a sword in his mouth in order to cut costs.

Wouldn't it be fab to see the local FOX TV covering the story of Davey Pack whirling around with a sword in his mouth, slashing the price on the house?

It would be almost as exciting a case if Trump met Armstrongism who met Ayn Rand who met the NRA who met Putin, Palin or Hitler -or Creflo Dollar!

A wise person writes, "Most of us poor folk make do with what we have and this man spends, spends, spends."

That is an excellent observation. May it help you hightail it outta there!

At the very least, we see the absence of a blessing. We also see lack of trust evidenced by Dave lowering the price. One would hope his members would see these signs and properly discern them.

So, if someone's selling or lowering the price of their house, that is "absence of a blessing"???

Maybe, someone's been watching Crazy Christian TV too much. Those nutcase preachers drool and slather all over themselves with *blessing-talk*!

Thankfully, I entered a small sequestered King James Bible group where I bought a woman for 50 shekels of silver, per the Holy Bible.
Unfortunately, we're going to have to kill our child for her sins, also per God's inspired Word- the Holy Bible.
We will kill her after the next Promise Keepers meeting, in the spring of 2017, and with the aid of other Promise Keepers.

BTW: Just kidding to make the point of how crazy the nutcases like those in the COGs and even 'outside' nutcases who believe the KJV Bible is "The Word of God" are!
