For someone who supposedly has God's double blessing and has been personally watched over by God for many decades in order to prepare him for his great "ministry", Almost-arrested Bob Thiel certainly is paranoid about so many things. If he was truly a follower of the one he is afraid to mention then he would not be living a life of fear as he is consumed with scores of conspiracy theories.
The doubly blessed prophet is now claiming that the United States government may soon be creating fake videos of him saying things he claims he will never say. I guess we should now start adding Tin-Foil Bob to his many titles.

There is an expression that goes like, “just because you are paranoid, that does not prove no one is out to get you.”
So yes, I expect that one day some governmental or other entity will have videos of me and/or others in the CCOG faked and saying things that we would never say.
When that happens, be careful not to misjudge. Deceivers will “wax worse and worse” in the end times (1 Timothy 3:13, KJV).

I looked on YouTube, and bitter Bob only has 204 subscribers. Under the grossly misnamed Continuing Church of God channel which appears to be 100% bitter Bob, there are only 1,686 subscribers. Very low wattage! Most of his videos have 300 or fewer views. Some of the older videos have a few thousand views. Consider the planet is inhabited by 7.7 BILLION people. At best, Bitter Bob's worldwide penetration rate is 0.000021896% of the world.
In other words, self-proclaimed Prophet joke Bitter Bob Thiel has had almost none, zippo, nada, no impact on the world. Why would "some governmental or other entity have videos of me (Thiel) and/or others in the CCOG faked and saying things that we would never say"? Nobody is watching his videos anyway.
Sinister people in Government or other entities would use Artificial Intelligence (AI) in a big way, not in a small bitter Bob Thiel way. For example, it could be used in a Presidential election putting words in a candidate's mouth that he/she didn't say. That would be using AI a big way. Delusional Bitter Bob Thiel in his own mind thinks he is so important and so big that the world is noticing him. The reality is the world has not noticed Bob Thiel.

If artificial intelligence could fake people, there would be new videos of Elvis. His estate would make a fortune. At any rate, true AI is not possible. There was a book published in the 1980s by a committee, that gave up on the idea. They listed all the technical barriers, concluding that they were insurmountable. Not surprising, since it amounts to creating a conscious being. Only God has the ability to do that. My suspicion is that the core of our minds is in a heavenly storage area, with our minds being powerful transmitters/receivers to this core.
THIS is the kind of stuff he thinks about?
1. Out of all of the billions of people on the planet, he thinks they would focus HIM out to spend time, attention, and money on to produce fake videos of HIM? There is a name for this type of thinking, where one believes the entire world revolves around himself. Fact check: No one of any importance CARES. There's no need to do any video fakes, because nothing he says is in any way important enough that there would have to be a fake made to counteract it!!!!
2. Instead of proclaiming some kind of "warning message" or gospel, he writes about stuff like this. Some prophet! He's not doing any "prophesying", he's sitting there worried about things that could happen that are not happening, and most likely will not happen! Snap out of it, Bob!
3. Let me repeat this. And let me repeat this again. Say this with me. Nobody of any importance CARES. No. Bo. Dy. NOBODY. The only thing anyone would ever do is shake their head at how in the world anyone could possibly think they are this important. The worst that could ever happen is someone does a "Bad Lip Reading" on his videos, which would be almost, but not quite as funny as the current videos and animations he puts out there.
4. Bookcases are sold at Pier One or Walmart. Curtains are sold at Bed Bath and Beyond and Target. Spend your time going there instead of worrying about "persecution" or "conspiracies".
Bob Thiel probably should be more concerned about the conspiracy of Nigerians to flatter him, fool him, and use him.
Or, even more, Bob Thiel should be concerned about his own shameful conspiracy to pass himself off as a prophet so he can fool and use other people.

Consider, though, that the Living Church of God channel has just 3,278 subscribers, and you have to go back five months to find even ONE sermon with more than 3,000 views. Bitter Bwana Bob's outreach may be pathetic, but LCG's reach is not that much better, especially when you consider LCG's far greater income and resources.
Compare both of them to another church with its HQ in Charlotte: Elevation Church. Elevation Church has 789,522 subscribers, and view counts ranging from a low of 7.500 (yes, in the last five months their low is higher than LCG's or CCOG's high), to a high above a million.
Bob and Gerald will say that this doesn't matter, as the Roman Catholic Church has even greater reach, and the point is that they have the truth and the right mission. What it does show, however, is just how incompetent the ACOGs are, as it wouldn't be too hard to have a much greater reach and impact, if they spent more money on creating quality products of genuine interest, instead of releasing YouTube videos that appeal more to your grandmother than to most YouTube viewers.
As well as the government being out to get him (well, maybe the IRS) there is also the Catholic Church. Some Catholic prophecy apparently refers to someone who will cause a lot of problems for them, and Bob claimed that will be him - and that Rod Meredith told him so. How can you claim support from someone you later discredit?

Let's keep in mind that this is exactly what Bitter Bob would want us to believe if he had been properly captured on video having adulterous sex or eating Hostess Twinkies, but wanted us to deny the plain evidence in front of our eyes.
Bob must have mental health issues or a personality disorder. Those seem to rise to the top in the Churches of God which is self evident. No one in the real world gives a rat's ass about what Bob Thiel thinks, believes or teaches. He's not even a blip on the screen of theological thinkers or religious teachers. To me, he and those like him, are fascinating to watch and hear what foolishness will next spew forth but it's difficult to respect him as a man of common sense and good judgment. In WCG, it was hinted via euphemism and the occasional slip by an impassioned minister (like Waterhouse) that the Catholic Church would ultimately be the persecutor of poor little WCG aka "GAWWWWDZ PEOPLE".

Since leaving LCG and beginning CCOG, I began to produce sermons and other materials for the Continuing Church of God (see also CCOG announces Bible News Prophecy magazine). Millions have so far been reached over the internet and millions over the radio since the formation of the Continuing Church of God. No other group has had this type of impact so quickly in the 21st century, especially when the number of financial supporters is considered.

Not from ego, but just for the sake of comparison, I checked my BB profile views. 2,495. Back when there were view counters attached to Painful Truth articles, some of us used to regularly get 200-300 views.
So, based on actual numbers, Bob Thiel’s performance falls somewhere below the numbers of moi, a simple, average ex-Armstrongite blogger. And, I’ve done this without waving my hands, and without the benefit of crooked pictures and bookcases or faded curtains that smell of cat urine.
Bob Thiel can brag about the Africans whom he shares with other church groups, but I have many, many friends of various ethnicities, all of whom have enriched my life, and hopefully, I theirs.
Finally, I don’t need the type of validation which comes from the Feds thinking I’m a dangerous kook. I’d rather have them think of me as a civic-minded person who is part of the solution rather than part of the problem. Go for normal, Bob. You’ll make greater headway!

Bob's paranoia doesn't go far enough! In making his fears of this public, he could actually prompt one of his enemies at LCG to alert government authorities about him. What state of mind would a person have to be in that he would make public his secret inner fears in order to validate his ministry? It appears that he may soon learn about self-fulfilling prophecy. If he really values his ministry, this is an area in which he should be exercising better self control. There is not a heck of a lot of common sense in ACOGdom. They all just have to have their apocalypse during their lifetime, at a tremendous cost to the outsiders who make up the majority of humanity, and even themselves.
