True.
Same rule applies with members making decisions on their own lives !

It's amazing these quote leaders are living the good life while many members struggle to put food on the table.Their caviler attitude sure seems different from the first century church. This brings to mind Isaiah 56:10-12 where they are compared to dogs that don't bark or warn their people but make sure they themselves are warm and well fed living in the lap of luxury.

The Mormon church had a saying, "Once the decisions have been make, the thinking has been done." Now shut up, go sit down and write us a big fat donation check.

I noticed that while I attended services. Some sins were never mentioned in services, and some abusive members that everyone complained about were protected by the ministers. Church was just a game.

Unfortunately many of the ministry and leadership completely ignored Christ's admonition that the leadership be servants and ignored his example while he participated in footwashing. HWA, Flurry and Pack looked at Hitler & Stalin as their role models of leadership.

Tonto trying to deflect from any serious discussion on the subject of leadership.

I was there said...

I recall information on various COG sites where alumni, former members, etc. would state that meetings like this were forums where members, potential elders, ordinations, etc. would be critically evaluated by by the church elite (including HWA), as to whether certain individuals would rate to be of some service in the COG or maybe who would be worthy to kiss up toe the modern day pharisees (like carrying the pastor's briefcase, saving his place at the front row, parking spot, etc. I think this is what goes on behind closed doors. I'm sure they had their magnifying glasses in the meetings, --- I was a simple lay person during my tenure but I was no fool in seeing this type of hypocrisy in god's church. (Guess I wasn't worthy to be there).

What a dumb ass thing to say. My quote has EVERYTHING to do with leadership!

The Revolutionary War had as its slogan "No Taxation Without Representation". It was the concept that if you expect to receive money from a citizenry, that this citizenry has the right, duty, and obligation to have representation in that process. Thus, my parody quote of the same, being applied here.

Read a few books, think a little bit more, and try again.
