The Dave Pack and the Restored Church of God are currently having a huge public relations nightmare right now as a local TV station has been running programs about his cult after concerned citizens of Wadsworth expressed concerns about the church, beliefs, and its total isolation from the community.
This public examination is refreshing considering how several years ago the religion editor of the local Wadsworth press failed to heed numerous requests to examine the RCG when they blasted numerous publications about its expansion into Wadsworth and its building programs. She wrote glowing articles about how important Dave and the church were while glossing over deep issues plaguing the church.
Our hats are off to Dawn Blue and How Its Done TV out of Wadsworth for believing Marc Cebrian and others who have come forward to spotlight this deeply concerning cult in their midst.

I have a prophecy-TC (our favorite punctuation atheist) will hop on to defend "Mr. Pack, the new apostle". The attention Dawn Blue's interviews with Marc and Dennis have drawn will have TC and RCG members crying Satan is attacking the church. Marc is just bitter. Dawn is worldly and carnal.
I hope those honest and fair interviews will not just put a huge spotlight on RCG, but also on the inhumane treatment in PCG, PKG, LCG, UCG and even the diminutive CCOG until this plague known as Armstrongism is gone for good.
I also hope it will bring more traffic to Banned and the great work you do here every single day!
It is interesting how the spotlight is shining on the Church of God movement in 2022. We went for a couple decades with only blogs and private newsgroups detailing COG abuses, now scores of books have come out, new podcasts are in the works, TV exposes, and even research is being done by Forbes magazine.
Of course, it is like you said above, the churches will scream persecution against the church in the end times. Big old bad meanie "satan" is pissed off at all the "true" leaders out there. Jesus is impotent to inspire his people to stand up again satan (the COG's most powerful creature).
But you don't see how they are God's people and work. They have the name Church of God and keep the Sabbath day. You need to question : Are "most Christians" your true Christians? Are "'professing' Christians" true Christians. Would you agree that two of the Scriptures that Mr. Armstrong would put some emphasis upon -- namely, John 6:44 and Revelation 12:9 -- tells you something you should keep it mind as you consider what's going on in the world? D'accord?
The Bible is clear on all of these matters. RCG is being persecuted from within.

Alex Groen's early videos were ruined by his babyface, before he decided to emulate Mr. Flurry and grow a scruffy little beard. And while Groen has an earnestness about him, he lacks Dave Pack's gravitas. Why would anyone send tithes to that little pipsqueak instead of to an Work that will give my kids a summer camp and will reach out beyond YouTube with the gospel?
Hey "True Christian", do you support the idea of taking tithes and offerings allocated for God and diverting them to the purchasing and maintaining horses and tulips at "the Compound" in Wadsworth? That is what is known as the misappropriation of Funds.

The many victims of the cog movement need their stories to be heard as a warning and as a witness against the excesses of Armstrongism and it’s ’ministry’.

Maybe you can think of a better analogy to illustrate how God said that NONE can vine to him except that the father draws him. That's why many people on this blog and your new apostate Mark left the plain truth they have no discernment it's not his fault. God has to call or draw a person on or in the case of church kids, Those kids have to tell God they want what they've been hearing since they grew up as a kid, or as you see was so many will never have completely understood it and then won't until they either ask God to let them have it or the second resurrection comes. And that is the case with a lot of the apostates that we are seeing these days God never drew them to it they just followed their parents and left and decided to blasphemy, Mr. Armstrong and Mr. Pack talking like they are saints. Like exposing the stuff in the church but they act like ministers like Mr. Pack have to be perfect but the only perfect one is Jesus even apostles can make mistakes.
Alright True Christian. I have been looking forward to this. Et oui, d'accord. Je parle francais aussi. The name of any given church or denomination was never a command of God. Herbert Armstrong probably did that to try and make himself sound biblical. I have no issue with the name Church of God, but nowhere is it mentioned as a command. As for the Sabbath and the law, we read in Galatians, Paul's passionate plea to those who were trying to turn the brand new Christians, who were still learning, BACK to the law (he called them judaizers). He wrote in Gal 3:1-14 "Oh, you foolish Galatians. Who has cast a spell over you? How did you receive the Spirit? Was it through observance of the law or through Christ? Scripture saw in advance that God's way of justifying the GENTILES would be through FAITH. ALL who rely on observance of the law are under a curse (v. 10)." Then Paul wrote in Galatians 3:23-29 "BEFORE FAITH came, we were under the CONSTRAINT of the law, locked in UNTIL the FAITH that was coming should be revealed. In other words, the law was our schoolmaster UNTIL CHRIST CAME to bring about our justification through FAITH. BUT NOW that FAITH IS HERE, we are NO LONGER UNDER the schoolmaster's charge."
Can you begin to see the change that occurred AFTER Jesus died on the cross for our sins? Before his death, the law was the only hope for salvation, but AFTER His death, burial and resurrection, FAITH in Him and His completed atonement for our sins was all that was needed for our salvation. You cannot mix law and grace or else as Paul says in Galatians 5:4 "Any of you who seek your justification in the law have severed yourselves from Christ and have fallen from God's favor."
On this side of the cross, TC, we are under grace, not the law. The Book of Galatians was written for the very purpose I pray you will start to see. You can read it in 10 minutes. Try doing just that everyday for a week. Ask God to send His Holy Spirit whose function is to guide us into all truth. We are grafted in gentiles, living under the NEW COVENANT (grace), not the Old COVENANT Jews under the law. Can you see the difference? I pray you will.
For the past 1900 years or so there have been many false apostles and prophets - Rev 2:2; Mat 24:24. But one was sooooo extraordinarily deceptive that he was prophesied, unlike the other many false apostles and prophets, was singled out in prophecy, about 2500 years ago - Daniel 8:23-25 - to show up, because he was so deceptive to an extraordinary degree, more than anyone else, except Satan of course. Guess who.
The holy spirit is only working with those who God calls.

Who cares what Mr. Armstrong said. He was just a man just like any other men. His opinions are just that, opinions. He was wrong about many things just like any other man. To blindly follow him or his wannabe son (DCP/TC) is stupidity.
True Christian refers to John 6:44, no one can come to me unless the Father draws him. HWA used to use this passage to explain why the church is so small. But if you read John 14:32 it says that when Jesus is resurrected from the dead, ALL men will be drawn to him. It was typical of HWA to cherry pick passages, use them out of context and then say, "See, the Bible says . . . ." As commented on earlier, to cling to the Law of Moses, which was in effect only for the people of Israel and only until the Messiah came, is to deny that Jesus was the Messiah.
All those people that kept it on Monday were deceived. I suppose they will have their chance in the second resurrection to understand that Pentecost should have been on Sunday, unless they willfully kept it on the wrong day. Doctrinal purity on such things is what matters for a Christian.

Mark Mr. Pack needs a fancy headquarters because God wouldn't let his people be poor there is a saying that God guides he provides the fact Mr. Pack has the best literature and website shows God is working with him.
Mr. Armstrong was better than most people. Even Ronald Regan said " you can take pride in his legacy"

There are certain acts which people commit that automatically cancel them, and turns them into tragic figures with despicable lessons for all of us to ponder, lest we become like them.
