Crackpot Prophet On Immoral Vain Women With Braided Hair, Who Preach While Wearing Gold, Silver, and Pearls

Oh, behold! God's all-time favorite prophet, the ultimate divine spokesperson for the Church of God and all of humanity, has twisted his holistic knickers into a full-on spiritual pretzel over the ladies. Whether it's those scandalous "hoochie mama" cheerleaders shaking their pom-poms at football games or those downright wicked women preachers daring to braid their hair and—gasp!—dangle some jewelry, this guy has the ultimate blueprint on how the fairer sex should behave. Because nothing says "holy wisdom" like micromanaging hairstyles and accessories!

But hey, since women outnumber men in the Church of God like cats outnumber dogs in a meme factory, he'd better zip those lips before he preaches himself into a corner. Naturally, this holy tirade is strictly for Western women—his African flock gets a free pass because, you know, traditions are like passports: they let you skip the judgment line.

And let's not forget the glorious track record of these COG dudes who can't stop yapping about women: turns out, a bunch of them were living their best hypocritical lives, sneaking around on the down low like ninjas in a confessional.

Hypocrisy level: expert!

1 Timothy 1-2: God Wants All Saved, Be Modest
This is the first part of an expected 3-part series covering each and every verse of the Apostle Paul’s first epistle to Timothy. In this sermon, Dr. Thiel cover the first two chapters of Paul’s letter. Paul reminds Timothy of his own role, warns him not to follow fables, and mentions that the purpose of the commandments is love. Dr. Thiel discusses commandments vs. traditions of men, sin, grace, salvation, idolatry, prophecy, prayer for political leaders, why God only calls some now, the pagan-connections of having Mary as a Mediatrix, modesty, and immoral women. He spends a lot of time reading the Radio Church of God position on whether or not women can braid their hair or wear jewelry. He quotes passages in the Old Testament showing that jewelry, of itself, can be worn. He explains that wearing (or not wearing) things for show is wrong and vanity. Gold, silver, rings, and pearls are discussed. The Apostle Paul’s teaching about women preaching is also discussed.

This is what top down government is all about. Controlling those in weaker positions. I'm so glad the poobahs remind us about modesty every year before the feast just to make sure beaches are appropriate for the leering eyes of men with no self control or introspection.

Ya know what's really funny? Back when I too was an Old Covenant Christian, people used to ask me questions, like, according to the Bible, what should be done with men and women who fornicate or commit adultery?

I'd always cite Old Testament scriptures, replying along the way that they ought to be stoned (literally, not psychoactively!) I didn't feel as if intent of the guilty was a mitigating issue, because frankly, you really can't argue good intent in spending the night with some hot babe from the bar, or screwing someone's wife. And, if a church member deliberately did this, according Armstrong, basically, there was no repentence, the penalty for deliberate sin was eternal death. Still, In the Old Testament, David was allowed to live, but got punished. His child was taken.

With clothes, I think a lot does depend upon intent. The church ladies are not going to go out to the clubs in their skirts, and blouses, whatever the length or however sheer, to deliberately seduce men. And, you can discern intent by the facial expressions of the woman wearing whatever style. Any man can recognize a wanton, inviting look in the eyes. Or active disinterest, which does not always necessarily result in the man giving up and walking away. Word from the street: Guys who are tomcatting usually use the Rhinocerous method, ie, backing up and charging again and again.!

I've heard it said by ladies over the years that men are just dogs. Anything turns them on. Even baggy sweats in the gym. Want to put that to the acid test? Ask one of your lesbian friends, coworkers, or relatives! You may be quite surprised by their stories!

It's up to the guy to get civilized, and control himself! God expects no less!

It's telling what topics churches avoid. If they frequently focus on modest clothing (frequently amounting to wearing "old people's clothes") or similar, but ignore fundamental issues such as rights, it means that the toxic church culture has been normalized. Members are expected to accept that their ministers treating them as if they own them is normal.
There's a reason why ACOGs numbers are declining. Proverbs 15:29 "God is far from the wicked" and 1 Peter 3:12 "but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil."

What will he say about the REAL issue for female members - makeup?

Will he quote HWA's famous phrase, "painted hussies"?

The ACOGs are not declining because the members are evil but because many of the leaders have lost their faith and love of God, if truth be told.
They are far too busy causing trouble on others to bother with evangelism. Evangelistic efforts have died in the streets. There is no desire for evangelism amongst these men, not really. So the congregations die out naturally due to neglect not of evil brethren.

Many leaders of ACOGs are 'bed blockers" blocking, hogging and destroying all the jobs. They do not follow the order of God when he had the Levitie men only serving as priests in the Temple from ages 30 until 70.
So don't quote scripture calling others evil so close to Day of Atonement.

Why don't all these barren, wifeless, cruel loving men and old self righteous women take a good look in the mirror of Jesus Christ's red letter words and judge themselves?

HWA's ministers were taught that retirement is evil, and they didn't participate in Social Security. Many ACOG ministers still don't. But they're doing you a favor by "hogging" their jobs; perhaps you want one of their jobs but you're better off not having it.

Ah, yes, the eternal moral dilemma as ordained by Prophet Thiel, High Priest of Contradictory Standards.

Which is more scandalous: the brazen mini-skirt fortified by a layer of "panties" , or the virtuous long skirt concealing a libertarian breeze of absolute freedom by going without and being "COMMANDO" ?

Oh, no, Tonto! Now you've got all the ACOG men who read here thinking to themselves, "I wonder if Mrs. Smith is wearing any underpanties under that long skirt of hers this fine sabbath morning!" Kind of defeats the whole intent of Dr. Thiel's message! Matter of fact, HE is reading this right now and will be thinking that himself! You bad boy!

Bob the Great Bwana of Africa wrote in one of his articles wrote that Herb had forbidden his ministers from saving for their retirement. I find that hard to believe. How can he morally can literally control how his ministers spent their money? He also claimed that the ministers didn't join social security because it was "broken," whatever that means. Bob's solution? Members third tithe needs to be used to pay for their ministers retirement.

And they call Herbert a pervert.

Nothing like a bit of leg or skirt to get all the self appointed profits of the Armstrongites excited. And a little flashy jewellery and of course braided hare, opps hair. Hare of course being forbidden. But always forgetting the weightier matters of the law. I’m surprised that horsehair undergarments are not mandatory for all males (real men) in the Armstrong movement. Now that would be a pain in the crutch area lol. And it would be hard to sit still for a two-three hour service ha ha.

The women should go on strike when these cretins become overbearing. I'm thinking that maybe after a such a sermon, they should shave their heads and buy burkas. Wear Arab head covering, whatever it's called.

Hell, HookerGuy got all worked up on these very threads over a slim lady wearing a dress that fit her.

Hijab.

I think all these images would indicate a woman with an attractive figure. The bare midriff is probably the more risque element for church attire.
