People are lying when they call it white supremacist. But playing the race card always seems to play well in the self-righteous media.

No matter whether all the things claimed were church doctrine what becomes evident is the damage caused to many members over many years was such that it far outweighed any good the Worldwide and offshoots ever achieved.
There must have been some good? For example meeting a partner and having children. Or, going to an enjoyable function?
Worldwide no longer exists and all of its claims about having a special message via its leader are all but forgotten. Because they were never valid in the first place.

The special message of the Worldwide was that people repent. It was much easier back then since the world was noticably less evil. Now the world is at the equivalent of the Titanic being past its tipping point. Europe and America being awash with non assimilateable third world immigrants is one example of this.

You mean those who were directly affected by it, 3:19? We are experiencing a priceless opportunity here at Banned, learning specifically and firsthand how Armstrongism with its British Israelism, mark of Canaan, and times of the gentiles teachings affected some of our brethren, even more than it did those of us who were born with lighter skin pigmentation. You cannot reduce this and turn their experience into lies based on the cliches you may have heard about the mainstream media of today, nor can you excuse racist behavior based on what you believe that "everyone" was doing. There were prominent visionaries throughout the past decades who spoke out about the Tulsa race massacre, about Emmet Till, about the Tuskegee Experiment, even as HWA was thundering that "segregation was God's way".

There were Christian ministers and Jewish Rabbis who marched with Dr. Martin Luther King, desperately desirous of correcting egregious societal wrongs which had persisted since the 1600's. Herbert W. Armstrong was not one of them, and this was not an accidental oversight on his part. He was a willfully ignorant man who lived and thrived on the wrong side of history, died with the most toys, and won.

I expected an abundance of ignorant comments in response to this illuminating post, and you do not disappoint, 4:07. There is a huge difference between those who were unwillingly stripped of their culture coupled with the decades long refusal of the mainstream to assimilate them. and later migrants who come here of their own volition and deliberately resist assimilation. Assimilation normally requires generations.

The world is at its tipping point for many reasons. The ideal of becoming a raceless society with equal treatment and opportunity for all is not one of them. You deny the value of education and environment. These require time and effort.

Interesting that you should bring that up, TT. The traumas of Armstrongism were so severe, that most of the ministry would have been greatly helped by a carefully guided, professional level of acid or ayahuasca therapy. That's about the only way that the brains of some of the "leaders" we regularly discuss here could have been rewired and repaired. This has proven to be effective in treating PTSD, and many of the shocks that veterans of wars had undergone. What if a couple of the more severe "teachers" we discuss had simply become intense vitamin gurus, as a result?
