My wife, me and 4 children attended the PCG. My first grandchild was born a couple weeks after my wife died.
A couple years later I was put out of the PCG because of some lies that were told about me. I was put out, with NO chance at counseling, NO opportunity to tell what happened.
Mr Eagle called me and told me that Culpepper was going to mark me.
I wanted to see my granddaughter and Culpepper would not allow me to. He told my daughter that they were to have NO CONTACT with me. I could not see their daughter.
In Kentucky there is a grandparents visitation law. You have to let grandparents visit grandchildren.
I got an attorney and had him write a letter to my daughter. Let your dad see his grandchild or be taken to court.
My son in law gave the letter to Culpepper for the "church" to help. Culpepper gave him the letter back and told him it was not the church's problem, they could not help but I WAS NOT to be allowed to see my granddaughter.
My daughter Carmen and her husband Brett left the church and allowed me to see my granddaughter.
Next I am going to tell why I was put out. Culpepper, or Cultpecker as I now call him did not like me at all.
It will be the truth, and I am going to name names. I could write a book. Mr. Eagle was my local minister. He was there, He can verify what I say it true.

Yeah, I can just hear what they were probably told about the Kentucky visitation rights law! "Tell the police we ought to obey God rather than man!"
Yep, these doof-burgers equate themselves with God. Us normal people would probably be consumed with horrendous guilt if we treated others as Culpepper does! He reminds me of Tomas de Torquemada, first Inquisitor of the Spanish Inquisition, torturer of Muslims, Jews, and any other dissenters. Culpepper most likely sleeps very well, imagining himself as being inspired by and loved by God. That's what a cult does to you, and why we fight them! Theirs is a mean-spirited, deep inner sickness.
That is Flurry’s so-called enforcer. Responsible for the leopard’s share of horrible tragedies that have happened and that are happening within the PCG. He is highly feared. A wicked man. He is a real demon with a major god complex. He comes up in a Google search instantly, and there is NOTHING good written about him anywhere.
He makes D. Leap seem like an angel!
I’m gonna be cold-blooded here and say it’s too bad it didn’t lead to a legal confrontation. I understand the personal concerns involved, but for the big picture, such a legal exposure will go far against the Armstrong faith tradition.
Generally, it's very bad PR to take on a church. The churches know this, and exploit it! Besides, percentage wise, most legal actions never go to court, as we would like them to in the case of the Amos 9:10 and Rev. 3:16 "spewed" splinters. Out of court settlements and NDAs are the general rule.
A "Cal Culpepper" PCG scandal is not going to sell newspaper subscriptions as Jim and Tammy Bakker, Jerry Lee Lewis's cousin Jimmy Swaggart did, or to a lesser extent, e-subscriptions as Jerry Fallwell Jr. later did. The bigger the celebrity factor is, the more the fame, publicity, and money becomes part of the visibility process. As nearly as I can tell, those guys' churches continued to exist! Conversely, I have a difficult time even remembering the name of the UCG minister (I think it was Weinhorst?) who was convicted of murdering his wife. Try mentioning Ron Weinland's name on the street, and watch for that blank, deer in the headlight stare. And, he actually served Federal time for tax crimes!
These ACOG ministers play a lot of checkers to enforce their agendas. They force an either-or choice both with their member, and also the member's family. In the case of visitation, if an outsider relative engages the law to enforce visitation, the minister will disfellowship the members who comply with the law. Can you imagine how your children will feel about you as they contemplate that you have cost them their eternal salvation? Remember, we know that that's a bunch of crap. They don't. In effect, the result is that the church maintains control either way. This is why Armstrongism is such a damnable, toxic cult!
Think about what you just said, nck! If your children have been educated to desire eternal life, and believe to the depths of their beings that their eternity is tied to continued participation in their church, and you (who in their eyes have fallen away) set them up for disfellowshipment, they will hold you accountable, and will most likely have psychological problems.
Sometimes, if you want to get to the top of an oak tree, it is better to sit on an acorn rather than climbing one! This stuff has to happen organically as opposed to forcing it! Anybody who has tried to cause someone to quit smoking knows this. It also wouldn't surprise me if someone were to quit smoking Flurry Golds, by switching to UCG Vaping, or COGawa Lights.
Nck. It would be great if my children were "put out" or as I call it DELIVERED from this destructive group. Once away from the mind control they could experience true freedom. Being able to think for themselves. It would be difficult at first. After I had been out for a while someone gave me a copy of a cultpecker sermon. WOW, the mind control technique and manipulation was so obvious. You are not aware of that while you are in the group.
In fact if my children were no longer in the "church". I would not give the cult a second thought. I would still pray for those trapped in it. Like I pray for all people deceived by this evil world.
To the fellow at 11:56 AM Saturday –
The state would not be taking on the church, but rather the parents. But in their defense, it would have to come out that their church – Philadelphia Church of God – gave them the orders for no contact, and threatened to remove them if they complied with the law. THAT is how it would bring PCG into it without bringing PCG into it.
Moffett, I was like that for a long time. I was just glad to get out. I had a few friends attending various ACOG’s, but that was it. Every now and then I would get curious and find something about what was going on among them.
But then I reconnected with an old friend from WCG. We didn’t discuss religion, but it was obvious which way he had gone – LCG. This was over 10 years after I had left any sort of fellowship. After we parted, I thought of things I should say to him, like the failure of the succession claim. But he died a couple years later. I missed my chance.
But this got me going into the anti-Armstrongism angle. I so wish I had acted against it back when there was still an active. Enter church “free press.”
You have to make your own decision, but there are people there who need to hear the reality. And there are people out there in The general population who need to hear about it, unless they fall for it. Let them read the material and believe what they want, they just simply need to know what the cult is.
nck is angry and toxic. Dmoffatt is hurting, please don’t let people weaponize your pain.
Nck, presuming what you’re planning is legal – because I won’t make bail – go ahead and do it. PCG and its people are not going to change, and the situation is going to continue.
If you’re talking about releasing something incriminating that you know, you should already have done so.
If you’re talking about some sort of (legal) kinetic action, be sure to videotape everything, preferably having it done by another party to avoid it getting interrupted. Believe me, many years ago I did some political street activism, and I wish we had had a video going when one of our numbers was physically assaulted. Document everything.
If you’re talking about some sort of ad Campaign in some way, form, or fashion, Remember that I’ve tried to get people on here to support something like that, with zero success. You probably have more money than I do, so maybe you’ll be successful going alone.
Again, I won’t make bail.
Don't worry Lee. I'm a LAW KEEPER, not a LAW BREAKER. I will let Yah handle it. He reserves the right of vengeance for himself. HE will make them pay.
But I will tell you this, it's a good thing I did not run into cultpecker out in public for the first few years after this happened. Did I tell you what he did to me in my own home. He also did it to Mr. K.... a member from Ohio that was also put out. Check it out.... https://called-chosen.blogspot.com/2025/12/freaked-out-by-minister.html
Dan, I was talking to “Nck.” Interesting…
By the way, may I suggest that on your blog you include the date of posting of an article. Helps give perspective.
Nck:
What thou doest, go and do quickly.
(As long as it’s legal. I won’t make bail.)
Lee,
I said an eye for an eye is going to be exacted.
If it should involve "generations" on my turf.....
it will involve generations on their turf.
For some these are not even born yet. This is why they are going to have to apply wisdom and think deeper than the usual playbook.
It should not come to a situation that they are begging for something that they could/should have corrected "20 years ago". At that moment of my choosing it will be to late. But they are going to fully realise it if it comes to that.
It is my wish they can just back off to the "usual" disagreement to disagree and back off from counseling "no contact" behind curtains that I am fully aware of and may affect the children of their children which only low IQ will discard as empty for "there are non."
nck
The "eye for an eye" equation is very simple.
If they - through counselling behind the curtain - pursue to breach the relationshio between the "pride of our joy.".....I will move to breach their (currently non existant) "pride and joy" when the time comes. There is no escaoe from that not in place not in time, not in South America, Australlia, the USA, New Zealand or the Philippines.
Nck
Uh, yeah, Nck. I, uh, get you.
(To the writers of the soap opera: the Nck character might be going a little bit over the top here. Not saying we’re jumping the shark, but this is not a normal story arc. You’re gonna have trouble backing him off from this. But I’ll play along for now.)
Say, “Dan,“ what do you think of this plan of Nck’s?
I think we leave punishment and revenge to Yahweh. Our part is to expose the evil going on in this cult. Yah will correct it in His time.
I'm completely in agreement with dmoffett re vengeance. Like for me I pray imprecatory prayers to God (like David did and the saints did) and for God to avenge me against my (and my loved ones') enemies, but at the same time I also pray for my enemies to repent and for us all to be saved and reconciled through His Son since even Christ prayed for His enemies on the cross. So while some may think this is contradictory it's actually consistent with the Bible and the examples given in the Bible since we're leaving the vengeance (or justice) in God's hands. I'm not the one taking the law into my own hands no matter how much I'd like to. And only God knows what is in the hearts and minds of men especially spiritually deranged and mentally ill people who seek to harm us. So while I'm always ready to forgive and for reconciliation with those who have hurt me and my loved ones' until that day I pray for God to judge on my behalf, to vindicate me in my distress and to exact swift (but merciful I hope) justice on those who don't want peace with me and my loved ones' (as I feel sorry for them in truth) since ultimately God will judge and judge all and His judgement is perfect and righteous (Deut 32:4).
The soul with the imprecatory prayers at 4:48 AM Thursday unintentionally brings to mind a point of point often overlooked in something like this. There was vengeance, and there is justice, but there was also rescue. That is, a tactical action, not intended to even legally square, but rather to help the good guys directly. regardless of whether it qualifies as one or both the other two, taking action against PCG, etc., can function to also help people who are in or may fall into the trap of Armstrongism. Exposing failures of whatever kind – moral, doctrine, historical/scientific – of the movement or a faithful component thereof can open eyes of members and perspective members, and enable them to see the fallacy of the cult.
That’s much of why I urge Nck to tarry no longer in the plan he seems to have in mind. If even one member sees through the psychological manipulation, or one perspective member or reader of material has the nature of the group exposed to them, Then his action would have succeeded at least in that part. It would not necessarily be vengeance, nor even justice. It would be a righteous deed. It would be Abraham in Genesis 14. It would be far more about rescuing the captives than punishing the captors.
Lee
I do not seek to "rescue" or "save" anyone. I believe in the exercise of free will of those that are maltreated, also if the outcome does not comply with my standards.
PCG has through their malicious counselling moved to hurt those under my responsibility.
I seek recompense according to the principle of an eye for an eye.
What is coming to them is no less than what they have maliciously counselled.
a) The situation is as of yet not irreversilble. They can still choose to reverse and back off.
b) An eye for an eye can simply not be exacted yet, as the 2 ministerial families on my list do not match the criteria to have "their eyeballs" ripped out and by so fully realise that they are paying the prize for having messed with Universal customs regarding the Family.
nck
riteria as of now to have their "eyeballs ripped out".......if they so choose to pursue the course they have set out.
I've had lots of good responses to my blog, www. called-chosen.blogspot.com. I've had people ask me if they can use my songs in their meetings, gatherings, and even churches. And what has made all this worthwhile to me is one person told me I saved her from going to the PCG. She had already been in contact with them. And cut it off. I consider that a life or even a family saved from the cult. So I keep up my "work". https://rumble.com/user/dlmoffett
So despite the startling similarities and answering of Questions addressed to the other, we do see a stark Stark difference.
“Nck”: Just wants to see PCG return to its previous level of obnoxious cult behavior. Destroying the movement is contrary to his goals, as I would expect.
“Dan”: Likes the idea of saving people from PCG, at least. But I am not 100% sure where he stands on the Armstrong movement in general. He went Sacred Names, which does suggest some degree of rejection, at least in terms of apostolic succession.
Dan, please clarify.
Lee;
If you look at my blog posts you will see were I’m coming from.
I remember setting at services in the WCG and hearing something I thought was wrong. I would ask and get the stock answers, “this is God’s church He will sort it out”
Things like missed prophecy. All it takes is ONCE to show who that person is and is not.
I remember listening to HWA talking to President Sadat of Egypt. Telling him that the God of the bible and Allah were the same personage. I remember him setting with President Mubarak of Egypt telling him the same thing and that he, HWA represented Allah.
Eating out on the Sabbath is BREAKING the Sabbath. It’s a long story how I ended up in the PCG. More of the same thing.
Go back over my blog posts. Start with my earlier ones.
I am a follower of The Way. I keep the Sabbath. Reject hierarchical “churches”. Sabbath gatherings should be in homes.

HWA would buy his way into a 5 minute meeting with a check for a few hundred thousand dollars and a crystal penis. Like the one pictured int the video.
I have plenty more studies and songs to post. As long as my children are trapped in the PCG, I will keep up my “work”
Nck, those kinds of trespasses occurred back in WCG times. Varying levels and varying intensities, but they did happen. They just were not as openly known. No Interwebs back then.
Your condemnation of PCG condemns WCG and at least the post-1986 offshoots, to one degree or another.
Nonetheless, you mentioned having no expectation that they will change. Yeah, you still seem to hold off from your big plan to give them another chance. I understand forbearance. But it is not on you to show this. If God wants forbearance, they will be forbearance. It’s your job to do what you know to do.
What you do, go and do quickly.
I have nobody trapped in PCG, or any other Armstrong faith tradition church. I know one family in my area in UCG or COGaWA – I don’t know which – I have chance encounters with every few years. Always cordial. That’s it. Yet I share your opposition to PCG at least.
If you disapprove of hierarchical churches, then my article should fit right into your arsenal. I just now offered a few improvements to counter objections from Armstrong believers: https://catsgunsandnationalsecurity.blogspot.com/2025/03/reference-to-followers-of-armstrongism.html?m=1
You didn’t know, Nck, the Armstrong churches actually do have people reading these blogs. It’s not the conspiracy some make it out to be, but they do read. If something ever happens to those people, you’re suspect number one.
We both know this is just bluster. But the authorities might not.
The Internet is forever, Nck. But while your action might be construed as consciousness of guilt for some unstated inappropriate considerations in fact being behind your statements – did I give you too much credit before? – your choice is not unwise. Just remember this lesson the next time you decide to go blustering.
As for my comments, I repeatedly stated the presumption of legality, as I wouldn’t make bail for you. So what I said was in that context (as well as the understanding of your blustering). That’s another lesson you should learn.
