Crackpot COG Prophet Predicting Late 2027 For Start Of Tribulation

The Great Bwana to Africa and 299 Caucasians (worldwide) is back today flouncing and bouncing in a new video trying to prove that by late 2027 the tribulation may begin and we kiss our asses goodbye. With his hands waving and his weak attempt to thrust his big thick Bible at us (thick Bibles always make prophets look more important), the present-day Elisha Bobiniah delivers his latest wild-eyed speculation about 2028 and beyond to 2031.

Between the flouncing and bouncing in his chair and the incessant hand waving, he delivers these cute little specualtions:

Is the USA prophesied to be destroyed by 2028?

Are there prophetic reasons to believe that the USA will not last two complete presidential terms? Yes. There is a tradition attributed to the Hebrew prophet Elijah that humanity had 6,000 years to live before being replaced by God’s Kingdom. There are scriptures, writings in the Talmud, early Christian teachings that support this. Also, even certain Hindu writings support it.

Here is a summary of ten items to consider: 1. If as the School of Elijah taught, that God inspired Elijah to state that the world as we have known it would last 6,000 years, to be followed by a thousand year sabbatical time, which Jewish tradition (Talmud, Tractate Sanhedrin [97a]) and early Christian traditions records (e.g. Irenaeus, a hearer of Polycarp. Adversus haereses, Book V, Chapter 30:4), then we are getting close to the end of that time.

2. And if, consistent with scriptures in both the Old and New Testaments, we can apply the concept that a thousand years is as a day to God (Psalm 90:4; 2 Peter 3:8).

3. And if, as generally understood in the Church of God that Jesus was killed and resurrected no later than the Spring of 31 A.D. on Passover.

4. And if we can presume that the “last days” of a 7,000 year prophetic week began AFTER the middle day (day 4), then the last days prior to the “sabbatical” time, which some would refer to as the millennial Kingdom of God would last two thousand years.

5. And if when Peter referred to being in the last days (Acts 2:17-18) and since Hebrews 1:1-12 teaches that “God … has in these last days spoken to us by His Son.”

6. Then adding 2,000 years to a period of time leads to the end of the 6,000 years no later than 2031 (and it could be earlier than that).

7. Since the Great Tribulation is expected to start 3 1/2 years prior to that (cf. Revelation 12:14; 13:5) subtracting 3 1/2 years from the Spring of 2031 would be late in 2027.

8. Understand that the U.S.A. is prophesied to be taken over near the rise of the Beast and start of the Great Tribulation (cf. Daniel 11:39; Jeremiah 30:7; Matthew 24:21-22).

9. Therefore, since the end of two full U.S.A. presidential terms would end in January of 2029, these prophetic understandings point to the end of the U.S.A. prior to two full presidential terms.

10. This is also consistent with certain Hindu and Roman Catholic prophetic writings as well. This video gives more details and quotes which point to the destruction of the United States of America by 2028.

The Great Disappointment

The Great Disappointment

He was only 19 but already a Methodist preacher for two years. He and his mother looked up at the New York night sky and witnessed the great meteor shower of 1833. Moved to prophesy, his mother stated, "Gilbert, the day of judgment is at hand." This was enough to convince him that he had just witnessed the fulfillment of Matthew 24:29 and Jesus was on His way.

"When October 22nd dawned in the Cranmer household, Gilbert was busy preparing to join his Adventist friends at a nearby schoolhouse to await the Advent. His wife, Betsy, had no intention of accompanying her husband. She sympathized with her family, the Heaths, and did not believe Miller's doctrine. When Cranmer was ready to leave the house, he prayed with her. She said, 'Gilbert, you will be back.' He left her with a heavy heart, feeling he probably would not see Betsy and their young daughter, Mary Ann, again.

He and his Adventist friends read Scripture, prayed, and sang hymns while they waited for the great event. Their spirits ran high throughout the afternoon and early evening, as they were sure they were on the verge of seeing the face of their Lord and Savior. But apprehensions grew as midnight approached and no Advent. After midnight, their hearts grew heavy as Jesus' appearance seemed less likely with every passing hour. By sunrise, their expectations turned into bitter disappointment. That is the reason October 22nd, 1844, is called the Great Disappointment.

As the early morning sun began to shine on October 23rd, Cranmer bid his Adventist colleagues farewell and started home with a heavy heart. On his way he was accosted by some non-Adventist neighbors who joked and shouted, 'I thought that you were going up last night.' When Cranmer arrived home, Betsy met him at the door with a smile and reminded him, 'I told you, you would be back.'

After October 22 most Millerite Adventists were harassed in one manner or another but in New England especially some were jailed and others incarcerated in asylums." --The Journey: A History of the Church of God (Seventh Day) by Robert Coulter, pg. 45

Qanon conspiracy theorists and Trump Savior optimists are beside themselves now that their prophecies of a January 20th coup has come and gone. I don't know about you but I got my fair share of links sent to me by folks I know who just a year ago I thought were rational beings. Christians sharing videos from wild-eyed strangers around the country claiming their inside sources are guaranteeing a bloodbath of communists and the jailing of everyone that has been determined to be part of the swamp by Trump, Savior of the free world.

On Inauguration Day, there was supposed to be a blackout. Trump would use the National Guard and the Navy and announce Martial Law through the Emergency Alert System. Make sure you have a CB radio and stock up on toilet paper (here we go again) and food. There would be mass arrests to cleanse our Christian nation of commie scum.

Many across their forums were calling the event "The Great Awakening." Some have resigned quickly to the reality that they have been duped, it was all just a cruel hoax. Still, others are holding on to continued narratives over the following days and weeks.

Intelligence has revealed that since the Capitol riots on January 6th, white supremacists raided Parler and other alternative social media platforms in hopes of recruiting the disenfranchised. One Neo-Nazi recruiter was advising other recruiters to not focus their message on WWII but instead on Democrats and injustice toward white Christians. While many people are angry at Twitter and Facebook for a 'cancel culture', Facebook has pointed out that they removed over 60,000 pages of shit just like this starting in November.

This was such a bizarre year. It makes me wonder if the Churches of God in particular with so many years of pent up yearning and waiting for the end of the age, just finally used Savior Trump as a release. For so many years, duped people have put their whole lives on hold and sent in their hard-earned money to these serpents claiming to be doing God's Work.

It also makes me wonder why it is so much of humanity has sought Saviors down through time. I know there are any number of psychological and sociological explanations. Whatever the reasons, it seems to me that it only harms people and robs them of living a complete and fulfilling life now. And there are no shortage of thieves all too willing to take their money for the assurance that a Savior is surely coming in 'your lifetime.'

I see single people who never marry because they refuse to marry outside their tiny organizations. Smart young people deciding against higher education because they think, what's the use? Struggling families with multiple children who live paycheck to paycheck because after paying three tithes, there just isn't anything left to get their teeth fixed, let alone save or invest for retirement. What will they have to live on in their retirement years when they gave it to a ministry to send their kids to college and retire on?

Ryan Bell is a writer, speaker, and ex-Seventh Day Adventist pastor of 19 years. While I don't necessarily agree with his atheist stance on life now, he does make some poignant observations about Christianity and the need of a Savior:

Popular Christian theology...renders this lifeless meaningful by anchoring all notions of value and purpose to a paradise somewhere in the future, in a place other than where we are right now. Ironically, my Christian upbringing taught me that ultimately this life doesn’t matter, which tends to make believers apathetic about suffering and think that things will only get worse before God suddenly solves everything on the last day.

Without the dependency on a cosmic savior who is coming to rescue us, we are free to recognize that we are the ones we’re waiting for. If we don’t make the world a fair and habitable place, no one else is going to do it for us. Our lives matter because our choices affect others and our children’s future.

I don't think we need to embrace atheism to understand and embrace what it is he is saying. As I pointed out in my last post concerning Wally Smith's response to supporting causes in this world, the Churches of God have a "preach alone" dogma that excuses us from living life in the here and now. It stops us from being neighbors and helping others. That is not what Jesus taught. Matthew 25:31-46 should be the emphasis of any Christian worth his or her salt. The Churches of God are full of priests and Levites, literally stopping brethren from being samaritans. The Armstrong legacy creates an us vs them that dehumanizes humanity from the rest of us. This isn't natural or normal and eventually begins to create individual and group psychosis that pushes us further and further from reality.

As we sit on the sidelines, waiting and waiting and waiting as life passes us by, we get antsy. Something isn't right. We are waiting for a battle that never comes. So now we go looking for it. And maybe some of us find it in politics. And for the first time in a long time, we feel alive. And the next thing you know, you are a Church of God member at the Capitol on January 6th. And like Gilbert, your Great Awakening turns into a Great Disappointment.

I'm not even saying it's wrong to be involved in politics. What I am saying is that Armstrongism and possibly to a lesser degree, American style Christianity, poisons minds in a way that moves people to the unhinged fringe extremes.

This waiting on a Savior and being told that you just have to pay, pray, and stay. This feeds into delusions, distortions of reality. Convincing people to live life on pause seems to me to be one of the cruelest hoaxes in the world. New England arrested and even threw people in the asylums after the Great Disappointment! Maybe it's time we get the authorities attention on these cults so we can get the leaders like Dave Pack, Bob Thiel, Gerald Flurry, and the rest of them thrown in jail and into rubber rooms.

THINK! If Jesus is coming back, it will only be ONCE and probably not in your lifetime. These Adventist peddlers, whoring for money in the name of religion have been doing this for 180 years! Take your life back. Save yourself.

Dave Pack: I like shredding brains with my prophecies...

In part 277 of his over 280 part sermon series,
Dave Pack, (false) Apostle of The Restored Church of God,
boasts of shredding brains.

His prophecies are so complex, they even cause sleepless nights.
Where is the Simplicity in Christ?

Satan's Allies Here On Banned Cause Major Boo Boo On Delicate Fake COG Prophet's Ego

The other day we quoted some of the Great Bwana to Africa's attendance figures that he himself posted on his blog. This did not sit too well with Bobiniah Thiel. As the modern-day Elijah, Zephaniah, Jeremiah, Elisha, and future witless witnesses to the Church of God, he could not let the ridicule of his attendance figures go unanswered.

In one of the most pathetic self-justifications we have ever seen him write so far, he went on a rampage with the spittle flying.

Some of Satan’s allies at Banned by HWA website continue to post lies about those of us in Continuing Church of God (CCOG) and other COGs.

Notice the following that was recently posted at Banned by HWA:

Spiritual and physical abuse in the Church of God had/has been going on for decades and people were and still are sick of it. That is why fewer and fewer people stay in the spiritually abusive cults of Dave Pack, Gerald Flurry, Ron Weinland, and other groups. Even the so-called “enlightened” groups led by Weston, Theil, Kilough, Kubik, Thiel, Hulme, and others, who imagine themselves to not be spiritually abusive, have been unable to keep members or draw in new cash cows members. After all, what this really boils down to is money flow. (Leonard, Gary. How A Marked and Disfellowshipped Employee of Living Church of God Is Making A Difference In The World November 30, 2020)

Since my name was mentioned twice (and misspelled once), (Sorry buttercup, but Grammarly does not recognize you as being legitimate  ) let me start off by saying that no, we in the Continuing Church of God (CCOG) have not been the source of spiritual or physical abuse. We will deal with the ‘money lie’ from Banned later in this post.

When a self-appointed fake prophet sets himself up as a new splinter personality cult of the COG movement it is spiritual abuse!  Bob's personality cult was formed as a direct result of Living Church of God refusing his demands. God was no more behind this apostasy, the improperly called  "continuing" Church of God, than he is behind Dave Pack and his cult in Wadsworth Ohio.

Imagine if you will, that you were a little insignificant COG prophet sitting at home and got so butthurt by the stats we posted that he had to reach out to other Church of God groups to get their attendance figures. Bobaniah did just that, even after he claims that other COG leaders are false prophets:

As far as Ron Weinland (CGPKG), Gerald Flurry (PCG), and David Pack (RCG) go, they have all shown themselves to be false prophets–they are false prophets because they have publicly made false predictions that they said God told them that did not come to pass.

As I have stated for years, I do not believe that they are converted Christians and, hence, are NOT truly COG (though some who have been drawn to them, often only for a time, have been). David Pack’s financial greed is also something I have denounced, for over a decade.

Now regarding four of the “enlightened” COG groups (Weston-LCG, Kilough-COGWA, Kubik-UCG, Thiel-CCOG) they have not been unable to keep members as Banned indicated (we do not have specific information on Hulme-COGaIC–as that group split several years ago and seems to be a small fraction of how it started out).

I personally contacted members/leaders in four of the groups who provided me, and/or directed me, to specifics on their size.

After quoting membership statistics of various COG groups, Bobaniah gets back to his little flock of members in Africa and calls them a bunch of Gentiles. So much for the foretaste of the Kingdom of God where there is  "neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus." The fact that he deliberately calls his black members Gentiles shows the warped mentality that dwells at the back of his mind thanks to Meredith and other COG myth makers promoting the myth of British Israelism.

As it happens to be, throughout the late Fall of 2020, CCOG has been reporting parts of its membership in different nations in some of its Letters to the Brethren.

These reports were all consolidated, with additional information, in its Letter to the Brethren: December 10, 2020. That post shows that CCOG leaders have reported a total of 5,275 (mostly Gentiles) worldwide.

Sadly, many who claim to be Christian seem dismissive of Gentiles in places like Africa. This is despite scriptures like the following:

25 For I do not desire, brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery, lest you should be wise in your own opinion, that blindness in part has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in. (Romans 11:25)
27 For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. 28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. 29 And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise. (Galatians 3:27-29)

Yet, many use prejudices and other factors to dismiss the truth that the Gentiles count as much as non-Gentiles and that the New Testament shows that more must be called before Jesus returns (see also What About Romans 11:25 and the Full Number of the Gentiles?).

I do not think anyone here has been dismissive of Christians in Africa. The problem with Bobaniah Thiel's followers is that most of them followed their leaders into Thiel's group. Most church members in Africa look at their church leaders as "chieftains" like they do over leaders of their tribes. They follow their spiritual leader/Chieftans wherever they tell them to go. So they jump from one COG group to the next.

It always seems like it is the "do nothing" little groups in Armstrongism that whine the most.

PCG And Its INSANE "Logic": Because Flurry's Prophecy About Trump Failed, The World Now Knows There Was A Prophet Among Them...Wut?

No one in the COG movement expects anything logical to come out of the top 4-5 COG's anymore. The absolutely insane beliefs, teachings, and words spoken by these buffoonish leaders know no boundaries in reality.

Gerald Flurry and the Philadelphia Church of God have been on a holy terror over the last year insisting that Donald Trump would remain as President and Biden, Hillary, and Obama would be in prison by now. But, low and behold. It is now Wednesday evening on the date of the swearing-in of Joe Biden as the 46 President of the United States. Biden is in Washington, Donald Trump is in Florida, and Gerald Flurry has been proven to be a liar again. No shocker there!

Joel Hilliker said this yesterday in an article on their WatchJerusalem site:

That brings up the second historic thing occurring this week. This has to do with the organization behind Watch Jerusalem. Though small compared to the great machinations inside the halls of power in Washington, we are right in the center of this historic moment. That prophecy from Mr. Flurry is out there. We have advertised his article “Why Donald Trump Will Remain America’s President” on our website, in many online news sources and social media channels, to millions of subscribers of the Epoch Times, Newsmax and RealClearPolitics, plus Arutz Sheva and campaigns in France. The article has attracted a quarter million page views on watchjerusalem.co.il and our sister-site Trumpet.com in English and thousands more in other languages. Mr. Flurry’s prophecy is out there.

And now only God can back him up.

Watching the news, Mr. Flurry’s statement that Donald Trump will remain America’s president seems impossible. Because even if facts emerge showing incontrovertible election fraud, American media are in lockstep with radical Democrats to block the truth from ever reaching the average American.

This is an up-against-the-sea, trapped-by-the-mountains, army-at-our-backs moment. Nobody can change this except God.

Mr. Flurry continues the work of Herbert W. Armstrong, whom God used as an end-time type of Elijah (Malachi 4:5-6). The original Elijah faced a large group of false prophets who held a lot of power and collusion with the political authorities over the nation. He faced off directly against them, building an altar, laying a sacrifice on it, then pouring on it large amounts of water. Then he prayed only a short prayer. Yet he was absolutely confident God would answer!

What happened? Fire from heaven devoured that sacrifice. God backed up His servant. Imagine what it would have looked like if He didn’t. But He did.

We don’t know how God will intervene. Like many of our readers, we have looked at the Constitution and the political situation and the Bible, and we have thought perhaps God would intervene this way, or that way, or maybe this other way. We don’t know how, but we trust that some way God will intervene so His prophecies will be fulfilled. His ways are higher than our ways. We do not know how God’s prophecies will stand, but we know they will stand!

Many people are watching us closely. If God does not intervene, a lot of people would feel justified in accusing Mr. Flurry of being a false prophet. But God says people will know that a prophet has been among them (Ezekiel 2:5; 33:33).

Hilliker ends with this:

God does work in a way we can understand, believe and obey: He works through human government, led by God Himself. And how He respondswhen we believe Him, believe His prophets, and demonstrate our faith.

We deeply believe that, somehow, this world will soon know that a prophet of God was among them. This seems like a spectacular opportunity for God to demonstrate that, and we have been trying to spread the word. Now God has to back up His man! Like those ancient people of Judah, we need to be praying for that. od that Flurry created did not back him up

Oops! Looks like the creature god that Flurry created did not back him up. Another failure!

That is a big part of what you—yes you—can do to seize this historic opportunity. Not many of these come around in one lifetime.

Prove Amos 7. Prove 2 Kings 14. Watch these events closely. This is your moment to live by faith! This is your opportunity, your test, to show God your mind and heart. This is your chance to prove God—and for Him to prove you. Put this squarely in God’s hands. This is your chance to stop ignoring, stop waiting, stop delaying, stop disbelieving. Believe in the Lord your God—so shall you be established. Believe his prophets—so shall youprosper. Why This Inauguration Day Is Especially Historic

It must be the member's fault for not putting their entire faith behind Flurry and this momentous prophecy!

As usual, it will be the member's fault that Flurry told a lie and Trump did not remain as president and that Jesus isn't going to return soon.

Crackpot COG Prophet Claims 20 Of His "Prophecies" About Trump Were Fulfilled

The Great Bwana to Africa and 299 Caucasians is gloating today about the supposed fulfillment of 20 of his prophecies about Donald Trump. As usual, it is just another load of bullshit that he is trying to pass off as proof of his prophetic magnificence.

The problem with every single one of the things he listed are items that anyone with half a brain and who kept up with news events would have also come to the same conclusions. None of these predictions are predictions but just confirmation news stories that we were bombarded with for 4 years

Anyway, 20 warnings I wrote related to Donald Trump either came to pass or began to after they were written:

WARNING ONE: Donald Trump will offend the Europeans. FULFILLED.

WARNING TWO: Donald Trump’s election will be used to further push European unity. FULFILLED.

WARNING THREE: Increased civil unrest will come to the USA. FULFILLED.

WARNING FOUR: The fourth warning was that Donald Trump’s rise would encourage the Europeans to arm: FULFILLED–THOUGH MORE STEPS WILL TAKE PLACE.

WARNING FIVE: There is a fifth warning related to the fourth: Germany will want a stronger military. FULFILLED. FILLED–THOUGH MORE STEPS WILL TAKE PLACE.

WARNING SIX: Donald Trump’s views on climate change will cause problems with Europe. FULFILLED.

WARNING SEVEN: Donald Trump will be one that is involved in fulfilling 2 Timothy 3:1-5. FULFILLED.

WARNING EIGHT: Debt will increase under Donald Trump. FULFILLED.

WARNING NINE: Donald Trump may propose a peace deal consistent with Daniel 9:27. FULFILLED–THOUGH MORE STEPS WILL TAKE PLACE.

WARNING TEN: Donald Trump would support aspects of ecumenical unity. FULFILLED.

WARNING ELEVEN: People will call for Donald Trump’s impeachment. FULFILLED.

WARNING TWELVE: Donald Trump would encourage the rise of the final King of the South of biblical prophecy–a power involving peoples in the Middle East and North Africa. FULFILLED–THOUGH MORE STEPS WILL TAKE PLACE.

WARNING THIRTEEN: The rise of Donald Trump will confirm to various ones that the USA is in decline. FULFILLED.

WARNING FOURTEEN: Daily sacrifices will one day resume in Jerusalem (cf. Daniel 9:27; 11:31). PARTIALLY FULFILLED–STEPS IN PROCESS (Note: I did NOT post that the daily sacrifices would start during a Donald Trump Administration, only that they one day would need to start. The Trump Administration took steps that at least indirectly helped set the stage).

WARNING FIFTEEN: Donald Trump will support increased government surveillance. FULFILLED.

WARNING SIXTEEN: Donald Trump’s Administration would focus too much on China and not consider the military threat that Europe poses. FULFILLED.

WARNING SEVENTEEN: Donald Trump’s position on the Trans-Pacific Partnership agreement (TPP) will assist China. FULFILLED.

WARNING EIGHTEEN: Mexico will look more towards Europe and less towards the USA on trade matters. AT LEAST PARTIALLY FULFILLED–THOUGH MORE STEPS WILL TAKE PLACE.

WARNING NINETEEN: His attitudes toward GMOs. FULFILLED.

WARNING TWENTY: The price of gold will hit record highs against the USA dollar. FULFILLED–THOUGH ANOTHER RECORD WILL TAKE PLACE.

Gerald Flurry Still Expecting Major National Trauma On Inauguration Day.

Gerald Flurry has been stating in sermons and in his official church rags that Trump will remain in office and Biden will NOT be sworn into office as President on January 20th. Both he and Lil'Stevie have been making this prediction. They also expect major military disruptions on the 20th, across the country.

The other thing Flurry has his members whipped into a frenzy about is that he claims that when Trump is sworn back in as president, after the military arrests all corrupt Democrats, that he will then banish and exile the PCG from the United States.

The fact that his members sit there and believe these lies is as appalling as those in Dave Pack's cult who believe his "christ" is ready to return any hour now.

Will Flurry apologize for lying on the afternoon of the 20th or on the 21st? We all know he won't. He will say that his creature "christ" delays his coming because the church has a work to complete, or that the members of PCG were spiritually weak and need more time to prove to God they are worthy.

The Church of God is sick and gets sicker by the day.

We can imagine Jonah, roaming thru Nineveh, that great city, shouting, “Yet forty or fifty days, more or less, God’s gonna maybe overthrow you.”

From a reader:

From today’s COGWriter:

“However, the end of the 6,000 years God has granted humanity to rule itself will likely be over within the next decade or so....”

I may have missed an earlier example, but today’s “prophecy” is a splendid illustration of Dr. Thiel’s prophetic style.  We can imagine Jonah, for instance, roaming thru Nineveh, that great city, shouting, “Yet forty or fifty days, more or less, God’s gonna maybe overthrow you.”

Now of course in that example God did have a change of plan, but that was because the people responded to the Prophet’s message.  The message was clear: God will do this.  The King said, “who knows, perhaps if we really repent, God will change his mind.”  They did, and God did.

That’s quite different from Thiel’s “will likely”  and his “or so.”
But you didn’t need me to point that out.  Have a good day.

35 Year Anniversary of Herbert Armstrong Death

It is hard to believe that it has been 35 years since Herbert died.

No one, and I mean no one, could have imagined the swirling cesspool

of splinter groups that have evolved since his death.

He would be shocked beyond belief at what is the present-day Church of God.

Psychotic despots and charlatans have brainwashed followers

into believing their blasphemies.

The ground is littered with broken marriages, broken families,

suicides, horrific child abuse, rapists, stalkers, and even murderers.

Every single one of today's COG leaders are certified liars and false prophets.

EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM!

Can Some UCG, LCG, GCG, and Other COG Members Truly Be This Deceived?

The following was on Exit and Support Network today. Can COG members truly be this deceived after all the crap that has gone on in the COG over the last 30 years that they think Gerald Flurry has the truth and they are looking to join up with him? They've witnessed the lies about Malachi's Message, the impeccable no-contact orders from Flurry. The rotten treatment of members by PCG ministers. The ridiculous escapade to Oregan to dig up a rock that they now worship as the stone that their "christ" is supposed to return to. And yet, supposedly, some UCG members, Living Church of God members, and others in the splinter groupss are supposedly looking to join up with Flurry.

Laodiceans Contacting PCG:
January 15, 2021
I was told that a number of members in UCG, LCG, Global (UK) and a few other splinters are showing an interest in PCG. These, as you know, would be considered “Laodiceans.” Some of them have contacted the ministers for a visit and are tithing to PCG, while still remaining in their “Laodicean” churches. –Anonymous

Fake COG Prophet Proves He Is A Coward When His Latest Book Proves Too Embarrassing For His "church"

It is always fascinating listening to self-appointed COG prophets, apostles, pastor generals, and church overseers run off at the mouth on how they are boldly going forth into the world without any fear to preach what they think is the gospel. That all comes to a screeching halt real fast with 99.99% of them, They all end up being loudmouthed blowhards.

The latest loudmouth is our very own Elisha Bwana Bob Thiel. This should be no shock to anyone here. For many years now he has been running off at the mouth on how he is the only one preaching the truth to the world, no holds barred. Until today.

The wimpy,  hand flapping prophet of the so-called Philadelphia era of the church stuck his tail between his legs and is cowering in his homeopathic pill-pushing studio office in Grover Beach, CA.

Bobiniah had this to say to his African members and 299 worldwide Caucasians:

A Non-CCOG Book?

In order to attempt to get radio interviews in order to reach all we can, I have been working on a new book: Biden-Harris Destruction & Prophecies.

Because of various reasons, including potentially legal ones, this will NOT be an official CCOG book (while we do not consider the book to be “political,” items of morality such as abortion and LGBT matters, are considered to be by secular authorities–so some official distance seems to be wisest).

However, we do expect to make it available for free to EVERYBODY at Amazon Kindle for a few days. Why only a few days? Amazon Kindle does NOT allow books on it to 1) be available free indefinitely OR 2) to be available online for free. Once we have it available via Kindle, we plan to send a separate email to all of you with a link. Note: You DO NOT have to have a Kindle reader to access it.

This is all about this blowhard getting his mug on the radio and in different interviews. It is always about Bob. But this time Bobiniah has proven he is a coward and is looking for the easy way out in publishing his latest book. He feels his book is too controversial to be associated with his cult church. Just like Herbert Armstrong was embarrassed by his message and his god and thus invented the Ambassador Foundation, Thiel is diverting attention away from his cult church due to his embarrassing message in his new book. Just like all the other COG false prophets he puffs his chest up and beats it trying to impress us all. Then when his wimpy ass is on the line he retreats like the coward he is. This is not government persecution, this is of his own making.

What a useless prophet!

Philadelphia Church of God Says The World Cannot Handle The Truth That They Have To Give

With a wild election season, Democrats taking control, weather patterns going crazy and constant rumors of war, Church of God leaders are getting whipped into a frenzy. With big tech silencing the President and right wing groups, these same COG leaders are screaming persecution. Add to all of this cacophony the rapidly approaching 35th anniversary of Herbert Armstrong's death and you have a perfect storm recipe of doom and gloom that excites these men.

Gerald Flurry, in order to remain relevant, has been shouting from the flatlands of Oklahoma for months now about the guaranteed reelection of Trump, the persecution of media giants in the banning of certain of their videos, and now for the expected miracles about to happen on Herbert's death anniversary.

Exit and Support Network has a couple of letters up in relation to this:

Looks like PCG is getting nervous about their programs possibly being banned from YouTube. SF on the latest Trumpet Daily radio show (“The Real Coup”) said they are “expecting trouble.” He said it was because “they” can’t stand the truth. They are now going to have their own platform.

Flurry is like Bob Thiel. They both get all pissy when their wildly absurd videos are taken down. Never mind the fact that these videos are filled with prophetic nonsense that is a result of Armstrongite teachings or that in Bob's case are just plain appallingly bad, these men see persecution at every corner as a satanic attack to thwart their mind-boggling ministries. Plus, when has Flurry (or Bob) ever told the truth? Both are biblical illiterates with no real training in eschatology, hermeneutics, and especially in Christology.

When has "truth" ever been found in any of these splinter personality cults?

Another letter mentioned a sermonette by Carlos Heyer, one of Flurry's toad-eaters makes absurd claims that great days are ahead for the Philadelphia Church of God in spite of the dangers that surround them at every corner.

Heyer says this:

“Last December 5 GF declared a churchwide fast for January 10. He outlined 3 areas to focus on during this fast.” Heyer called Gerald Flurry “our Prophet or King.”

He said Brad Macdonald wrote an announcement for Europe and the UK telling who has fasted in the past; i. e., the ancient Israelites, the Jews in Ezra’s day, those in the NT, and the church under HWA. “In every instance, these fasts produced incredible fruit and the Work surged forward.”

He said the theme for this fast is “Fasting and Praying for God’s Protection.” Some scriptural references he gave were Ezra 8, Daniel 9, Isaiah 58 (mentions “true fasting vs. false fasting”), Psalms 37, and Matthew 6:16-18.

HWA “left us a legacy on how to fast, alternating one hour of study, one hour meditation, and one hour prayer, then begin the cycle again.”

Then it becomes quite clear as to why Flurry is calling a fast. He wants more money! Income is stagnant. Membership is stagnant and/or dropping. As members leave the church no new ones appear to be interested in their nonsense.  Of course, Satan's use of COVID to throttle the work is to blame.

GF had said: “The coronavirus is holding the Work back in many ways and we need more laborers; and we need to make sure we are overcoming Satan the Devil.

He read more from Brad Macdonald’s announcement in which he went through 3 areas/points to focus on:

(1) Fast and pray for God’s intervention in the covid 19 situation as it is holding back the Work (even tho the income has not been adversely affected).

(2) Fast and pray for more members and laborers. Overall membership has not increased.

(3) GF has said these are exciting and intense days, but they are also dangerous. The only way we can thrive and perform at the level God needs us to is if we are close to God. Examine ourselves for anything that is separating us from God. Examine your relationship with the world. Are you too close to the world? Too materialistic?

Too materialistic? WHAT????? This is PCG after all and the FLurry clan. They are shining examples of excess and lust for the good things in life. Campus buildings built just so Flurry's grandkids can learn the sacred Irish dance, luxury private homes on campus filled with fine art and other extravagancies, a money-draining concert hall, a boondoggle jet that sits parked in a hanger until Lill'Stevie wants to flay back and forth to England or Jerusalem, or for their exclusive use any time Flurry's grandkids need to compete in an Irish dance competition somewhere in the world. And let's not forget they excursion to Oregon to dig up a dirty old rock and bring it back to the cult compound where they placed it on a bed of royal purple velvet and then encased it in glass so the faithful can come and worship it, at least until till Jesus comes and sits his kingly butt upon it. after Flurry flies it to Jerusalem.

“Let’s beseech Him to further empower this great Work and to help us prepare individually and collectively for the return of Jesus Christ.”

Let's pray that this NOT happen because this is NOT a "great work" and it also has absolutely NOTHING to do with Christ. This abomination, along with Dave Pack's, Bob Thiel's and Ron Weinland's, need to be buried in the trash heaps of the valley of Armageddon where their cults all belong.

Fake COG Lunatic Prophet Now Claims Loma Armstrong's Dream Was Actually About Him!

Just when you think the self-appointed prophet of Grover Beach, CA can't get any crazier, he does. The Great Bwana to Africa and the savior of 299 caucasian followers, the Bobiniah is now claiming that the dream Loma Armstrong had that spurred her husband Herbert to start a church was actually a dream that pointed to Bobiniah Thiel and his self-made cult.

Bobiniah, the Elisha for this age, has posted a HUGE article on the nightmares he and some of his crazy members have had and still are having as proof that he is the end time Elisha that will lead a select few into the Kingdom of God where they will teach the world how to wave their arms with big thick bibles in their hands and build crooked bookcases.

Elisha Bobiniah writes:

Though many discount all dreams, many also forget that Herbert W. Armstrong believed that his wife Loma D. Armstrong had a dream from God, although it took him some years to accept the validity of it:

Within 30 or 60 days after our marriage God spoke to my wife in what might have been an intense unusual dream, or a vision — but it was years later before we came to realize that this really was a message from God. (Armstrong HW. Brethren and Co-worker letter, November 28, 1956)

One night my wife had a dream so vivid and impressive it overwhelmed and shook her tremendously. It was so realistic it seemed more like a vision. For two or three days afterward everything else seemed unreal — as if in a daze — and only this extraordinary dream seemed real.

In her dream she and I were crossing the wide intersection, only a block or two from our apartment, where Broadway diagonally crosses Sheridan Road. Suddenly there appeared an awesome sight in the sky above. It was a dazzling spectacle — the sky filled with a gigantic solid mass of brilliant stars, shaped like a huge banner. The stars began to quiver and separate, finally vanishing. She called my attention to the vanishing stars, when another huge grouping of flashing stars appeared, then quivering, separating, and vanishing like the first.

As she and I, in her dream, looked upward at the vanishing stars, three large white birds suddenly appeared in the sky between us and the vanishing stars. These great white birds flew directly toward us. As they descended nearer, she perceived that they were angels.

“Then,” my wife wrote a day or two after the dream, in a letter to my mother which I have just run across among old family pictures, “it dawned on me that Christ was coming, and I was so happy I was just crying for joy. Then suddenly I thought of Herbert and was rather worried.”

She knew I had evidenced very little religious interest, although we had attended a corner church two or three times.

Then it seemed that, from among these angels in her dream, that, “Christ descended from among them and stood directly in front of us.

At first I was a little doubtful and afraid of how He would receive us, because I remembered we had neglected our Bible study and had our minds too much on things apart from His interests. But as we went up to Him, He put His arms around both of us, and we were so happy! I thought people all over the world had seen Him come. As far as we could see, people were just swarming into the streets at this broad intersection. Some were glad and some were afraid.

“Then it seemed He had changed into an angel. I was terribly disappointed at first, until he told me Christ was really coming in a very short time.”

At that time, we had been going quite regularly to motion – picture theatres. She asked the angel if this were wrong. He replied Christ had important work for us to do, preparing for His coming — there would be no time for “movies .” (Those were the days of the “silent” pictures.) Then the angel and the whole spectacle seemed to vanish, and she awakened, shaken and wondering!

In the morning, she told me of her dream. I was embarrassed. I didn’t want to think about it, yet I was afraid to totally dismiss it. I thought of a logical way to evade it myself, and still solve it. …

Do not hastily ascribe a dream to God. True, the Bible shows that God has spoken to His own chosen servants by this means of communication — primarily in the Old Testament, and before the writing of the Bible was completed. But most dreams mean nothing. And false prophets have misled people by telling false dreams, representing their dreams to be the Word of God (Jeremiah 23, where God sa ys, “I am against prophets who recount lying dreams, leading my people astray with their lies and their empty pretensions, though I never sent them, never commissioned them” — verse 32, Moffatt translation).

Certainly I did not ascribe this dream to God. It made me feel a little uncomfortable at the time, and I was anxious to forget it — which I did for some years. I was twenty – five at the time. God left me to my own ways for five more years. But when I was age thirty, He began to deal with me in no uncertain terms… (The Autobiography of Herbert W. Armstrong, 1973, pp. 187,193-194).

Considering how much of Herbert Armstrong's "autobiography" was made up of fantasy (that his own family claims) how can we really believe Herbert about this dream, let alone Bobiniah's upcoming claim to it?

This is how Elisha Bobiniah has tied Loma's nightmare to his nightmare:

Loma and Herbert Armstrong were married in 1917. They were specifically told that they would have a work to do. Furthermore, the bright lights in the dream may have had to do with doing a work (cf. Matthew 5:16)–a work that seemed to vanish and return (flash). Thus, there was a dream from God given to a woman in the 20th century that preceded the start of the old Radio Church of God that Herbert W. Armstrong led. The Radio Church of God represented the start of the Philadelphia era and the Philadelphian work–a work that is not finished (cf. Matthew 24:14-15)–and Herbert W. Armstrong claimed that a dream given to his wife was from God, prior to the start of the Philadelphia era.

Since the Philadelphia era was raised up years after that dream, a question to ponder is, would God do anything similar to point to the continuation of the end-time COG remnant of the Philadelphians? Consider that in Loma Armstrong’s dream that there were two sets of flashing stars–there were two parts to the dream. Herbert Armstrong is now dead and there was a pause between the work God had him to do and the completion of the final phase of the work to finally fulfill Matthew 24:14 (cf. Isaiah 29:14).

In the past, like in 2013 and 2014, I have called the time between his death and the formation of the Continuing Church of God the transitional phase–which is consistent with Loma Armstrong’s dream. God will cut that final work short (Romans 9:28) which results in the famine of the word (Amos 8:12) which is consistent with the vanishing stars in Loma Armstrong’s dream (though there could be other interpretations–we in CCOG are continuing the Philadelphia work and expect to be the ones God will use on earth to help finish it).

A little later Bobiniha says this:

Notice that the dream was to go until the end of the world and the coming of Jesus–since Herbert Armstrong has been dead since January 16, 1986–if the dream was from God then, does it not make sense that the second half of the dream would be fulfilled by another in the 21st century? We in the Continuing Church of God are fulfilling that second part of stars.

And then this:

Consider that Herbert W. Armstrong considered that his wife Loma’s dream was from God. He also believed the first part of it had to do with the start of the Philadelphia era of the Church of God via the Radio Church of God. He did not discuss the fulfillment of the second part of the dream directly, however he taught another work would be done.

Bobiniah then goes on to quote Dale Schurter as a credible source about Herbert's dream. Schurter has a long track record of saying outlandish and absurd things just like Gerald Waterhouse did. Apparently, false prophets need false teachers to back up their outlandish proclamations. Typical Armstrongite methodology.

“A few months before Mr. Armstrong’s death, my wife and I had the opportunity to spend several hours with Mr. Armstrong in his home in Pasadena. He spoke freely of the mighty work God had commissioned him to accomplish, and related certain heartfelt comments: ‘I can say that I have finished the work God has given me to do, and am at peace about it. I have preached and taken the Gospel of the Kingdom of God into all the world as a witness to all nations.’

“Mr. Armstrong went on to say, ‘I have come to realize there will be an even greater work to follow—to go again, to “prophesy again” to all nations tongues and peoples (Rev. 10:11) before the work of the two witnesses—but with more power and with a stronger warning message. But that will be for others to do.’ He continued, ‘It will be a short work (Rom. 9:27-29), compared with the longer time to complete the work I was given, and it will be cut short. That’s when the Great Tribulation will begin, as will the work of the two witnesses. These will last for three and one-half years, at the end of which Christ will return in glory.’” (“The Greatest Work Lies JUST Ahead…” as stated in RCG letter of May 31, 2013)

When Mr. Armstrong was age 91 — about 1984 — Mona and I had opportunity to spend several hours with him in his home in Pasadena to visit and further report on work he had commissioned us to do. We were to report directly back to him. He talked freely of the mighty work God had given him to accomplish. He went on to tell us there was yet a bigger work still to be done, to go again and repeat what has been done, but with more power and with a stronger warning, just before the work of the two witnesses would begin. He said it would be a “short work” (Rom. 9:27-29) compared with the longer time to complete the work he had been given, and that it would be “cut short.” That’s when the great tribulation would begin, as would the work of the two witnesses. These would last for three and one-half years. (January 7, 2012 Dale Schurter Speaks Out: UCG Resignation Letter)

It should be noted that these quotes were published by ANOTHER COG false prophet and another certified liar, Dave Pack, as proof that HIS church was the final true church. How many more splinter cults get to claim Loma's dream was about their church? The silliness that these guys dream up knows no end!

Elisha Bobiniah continues with another outlandish lie:

Consider that since Herbert Armstrong did not teach that the second part of his wife Loma’s dream was fulfilled and that he also taught a greater work was going to happen after his death. It is greater because it will fulfill Matthew 24:14, etc. That is the work that we in the Continuing Church of God are leading. It appears that the second part of Loma D. Armstrong’s dream was pointing to the Continuing Church of God–the group that best represents the remnant of the Philadelphian portion of the Church of God.

Dreams are a sign that God has used to confirm ‘Philadelphia.’

So, does it not make sense that if God granted a dream to a woman prior to the formation of the Radio Church of God that God could have done that prior to the formation of the Continuing Church of God?

The fact that there were also other dreams related to the ContinuingChurch of God that were confirmed is consistent with the fact that God has used dreams related to the Continuing Church of God.

Of course, many do not want to believe that God uses dreams or will discount the ones they hear about.

Yet, the Bible shows that God often chooses to work with prophets through a dream:

6 “Hear now My words:
If there is a prophet among you,
I, the Lord, make Myself known to him in a vision;
I speak to him in a dream. (Numbers 12:6)

The Bible also speaks about lairs and false prophets coming at the end of the age who's sole purpose was to deceive the brethren. The COG now is filled with so many liars and false prophets that it has no chance of the church ever recovering from the filth they pump out.

Rod Meredith also gets dragged into this steaming pile of bullshit that Bobiniah Thiel is promoting.

Many years ago I had a dream, which while I did not understand it at first, as it became more and more fulfilled over the years, I began to understand it and believe it was from God.

I was 50 at the time (which essentially makes me an ‘old man’ per Numbers 8:25; cf. John 8:57). In my dream, there seemed to be two parallel lines. Living Church of God (LCG) evangelist Roderick Meredith was on the top line and I was on the line much below. In the dream, I kept calling up to Dr. Meredith, but he never would respond. This lack of response made no sense to me during the dream. Then after what seemed to be a long time, the lines-crossed with his line dropping and my line going up.

One reason that I did not understand it at the time was that I was on relatively close speaking terms with Dr. Meredith then (he repeatedly told me he considered me to be his friend, plus he had appointed me an adviser to LCG on matters of doctrine and prophecy), so that aspect of the dream made no sense. Also, since I had no intentions of leaving Living Church of God then (and certainly no plans to start a separate church), it was not clear what the dream was saying. Another reason I was unsure about the dream then was that I had not had any anointing for the Holy Spirit beyond baptism when I had that dream.

But these matters changed eventually. For one, I was unexpectedly anointed for a ‘double-portion’ of God’s Spirit (cf. 2 Kings 2:9) on December 15, 2011 by an LCG minister named Gaylyn Bonjour.
Furthermore, over time, Dr. Meredith became more distant from me, would not keep various promises to me, and ultimately stopped speaking with me. And after I got a letter from him on 12/28/12, it was clear to me that there was no way that the Philadelphia mantle could be with him or any of his leaders. These subsequent events showed me that the dream was being fulfilled.

Have you ever noticed that EVERYTHING in the improperly named "continuing" Church of God is centered entirely upon Bobiniah? This has always been a "ministry" about himself. Jesus is certainly no part of it. All we ever hear about is the amazing things Bobiniah does or some esoteric belief system held by some long-gone group of people. Jesus is never discussed.  When he is not bashing Catholics or Rod Meredith for kicking him out of Living Church of God, we hear about some of the most unimportant things imaginable - maybe 20 -30 of them in one single sermon! Even his followers in Africa sit there at the end of his taped sermons and say, "WTF did I just hear?"

Bobiniah then continues on with a huge amount of backslapping mumbo-jumbo about some of his follower's dreaming dreams as proof he is the end time chosen one.

He ends with this:

The Work is Being Done

As mentioned earlier, I had another fulfilled dream in December 2020. God still intervenes–yet most who claim to believe Him and the Bible do not seem to really want to accept that.

The work (Matthew 24:14; 28:19-20; Galatians 2:10) is being done, and CCOG is a work that God has blessed with at least 3 dreams prior to its start and several since.

The CCOG has also been the fastest growing of the COG groups in the 21st century.
But many do not believe that God will work using dreams in the 21st century, despite the reality that most once part of the old WCG supposedly believed that God did in the 20th century.

Of course, some will discount dreams and their confirmation as proper proof of anything they do not wish to believe. Many want more dramatic signs (Matthew 12:38; 1 Kings 19:11-12), but God does not always do it that way (Matthew 12:39-42; 1 Kings 19:12-14).

Satan and his allies do not want you to believe that God has actually been using dreams–he wants you to rationalize away the prophecy in Acts 2:17-18–otherwise you might take action he opposes.

Can you believe?

Satan and his allies have nothing to do with anyone acknowledging the FACT that what Bobiniah Thiel says is a pack of lies. God gave us each brain that is quite adept at discerning lairs in the COG and Bob Thiel is a liar. He is a false prophet and a deceiver of the brethren, a preacher of doctrines of demons. That is a fact that cannot be disrupted.

Every start of a new day in the Church of God movement we watch as it sinks lower and lower into absolute stupidity. Are there any men of integrity left in it?

(If you want to be totally disgusted and want to read Bobiniah's pathetic stream of mind vomit, you can do it here.)
