Herbert Armstrong's Tangled Web of Corrupt Leaders
Of course nothing has changed, and he has proved that point with over 25,000 MINUTES of words over the last 6+ years!
When he made a statement that in his mind was intellectual mastery in the same vane as Bill Clinton's "it depends on what your definition of is is"; he being in the same perilous situation as Bill Clinton, wiggled his way out of losing his position and organizational stance by convincing 99.5% of his members that the following statement was true. That statement: "I have not changed what Mr. Armstrong did one wit" didn't even move 1% of the membership of the RCG to think this man is insane. That those 99.5% of people couldn't advance their thinking to equate what Mr. Armstrong did or didn't say was equal to what he did, they now bought into their thinking that they were still holding fast to all of what HWA taught even after listening to a possible 2,875,000 words over the last 6+ years redefining the gospel order and prophetic sequence.
May God help these people to see as they now sit with cleaned out bank accounts, sold houses, cashed in retirements and ruined marriages that no remnant appeared when their leader said it would and no Man of Sin appeared when he said "he" would and no Son of Man appeared when he said "he" would.
As the members of the RCG are now left with nothing of their physical possessions and the non fulfillment of desired prophetic events, they only have the bought words of their leader who has told them "nothing has changed". It is easy to see by the many on the outside EVERYTHING has changed. The question is, when will these people see the same?

Thank you "What About The Truth" for your insight into RCG, I believe you stated at one point that you are an ex member of that group. I also left with my family and have been nothing but better ever since. It is hard to believe that so many still stay and listen to Pack's continual changing of the "prophetic timeline" and everything else he changes on an almost weekly basis. I think most must know deep inside that this group (RCG) is a lost cause, but have nowhere left to go. (Other than just leave, which they cannot bring themselves to do for some unknown reason.)
To call Dave Pack a “moron” would be to provide him with an excuse for all of the evil he has brought into his members’ lives. I believe that he is a man of strong normal intelligence who knows exactly what he has done. He is a master manipulator, and a typical salesman, an orator who is primarily motivated by his billfold.
