Get Behind Me, Satan!

I didn't know that Satan had "Man Tits" !

"and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being"

This verse also has new meaning as I see hundreds on intensive care in coma on breathing machines.

Wash your hands, don't touch your face, keep distance and DO NOT listen to your neighbor with light symptoms and a 2 say cold from Covid.

Take care and hope to see you on the other side of the tunnel alive and well.

Hey, nck, we all have to look at some of the positives no matter what circumstances in which we find ourselves. The epidemic hit just as I was beginning to need a haircut. At first, I worried, with the social distancing guidelines and all. This morning I woke up realizing that our current situation gives me the ultimate alibi for not getting a haircut for a couple months, and everyone will think it's perfectly socially acceptable!

That's my positive! I wonder what some of the other readers of Banned can come up with???

Satan's mommy probably made him eat licorice to kill his testosterone after catching him at play.

3:25 True. Let's have fun.

I'm just a timetraveller, 8 days ahead of "the curve" (NYC) . What to others might seem as doomsday prophecy is just appropriately reporting current affairs and issuing a warning to friends for me.

Wash your hands sore and social distance and we'll talk about "doomsday prophets" in 3 weeks. Don't, then die suffocating.

And now I'll turn to funnies again. I mean how long can a human being suffer alertness if one lived through "1975 in prophecy" and initiate the better part of one's life.

Take care.

@nck ~You too, good buddy! Didn't realize you were in NYC. Take care of yourself and keep that sense of humor going!

1:58pm Do you have a book, chapter and verse to back that up?

Are we to fear Satan?

Not to worry, he's far too busy empowering the likes of folks like Pack, Flurry, Weinland et al to be bothered by some blog posting...

Hi BB.

Presently I'm at "8 days ahead of the NYC curve" even. So I know what people think on each stage of the curve especially the early stages with low numbers in IC when it spreads most.

I'll change my tune from "covid harassing" to "nudging and encouraging", then "funny in the eye of the beholder", to "holding hands virtually". I'm seeing church choirs decimated in anti vaxing areas, not because there is any vaccination available anyway, but because the people are close, social and have some type of stubborn faith that is admirable in a way. (not unlike secular new Yorkers)

We are told that Satan is like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour. So yeah, it's rational to fear him.

3:58am You are so wrong! If you're a Christian then it's completely irrational to fear Satan! Jesus said "fear not". He also inspired the putting on of the whole armor of God.

If you're serious and you fear Satan then I feel very sorry for you.

Fear not?? What about context? The fact that you didn't quote chapter and verse implies that you know that this defence is weak. Why would the Bible mention that Satan is like a lion seeking to devour Christians, unless he was a threat?
I agree that a Christian shouldn't live in dread of him, but a healthy fear seems reasonable.

The fact that I didn't quote the chapter and verse is moot. As for the scripture that you reference in 1 Peter if you paid attention to the context Peter is telling Christians to stay close to Christ, vigilant, and they'll have nothing to worry about. As I said, fear not. Satan can do nothing if you're close to Christ, so if you fear Satan what is that telling you?

I'm assuming that you're the one who was chiding people for joking about Satan having man tits. Well, I've said for years that Satan and the demons are God's bitches and he uses them for his purposes. Nothing has befallen me and I fear nothing!

If you choose to fear Satan go ahead, as for me and my house we'll fear (reverence) God! Thank you very much!

2Ti 1:7 - For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

If you choose to fear Satan that's your prerogative. I don't!

Claiming that Satan and his demons are God's bitches is an exaggeration. They are free moral agents. God does not make decisions for them. So no, they are not His bitches. One feast of Tabernacles was marred by a horrible crime that made the headlines just prior the feast. I believe it was demon inspired. And no, the crime wasn't God's will.

2:57pm I don't believe that I said they were God's puppets did I? Big difference. God could destroy them at any moment, he chooses not to because they are serving his purpose. Teaching us to hate sin. That does indeed make them God's bitches whether you agree or not! In regards to your last sentence, God allowed the crime to happen so it was according to his will. He didn't cause it to happen though. You don't seem to understand what God's will is.

Isa 45:7 - I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.

God creates all things therefore he creates evil. He can end evil in an instant but he chooses not to. Why? Because that's how we learn to hate evil. There's no other way to learn that and he knows that full well.

The common definition of being someone's bitch is being that someone's puppet. They do control their victims mind.
God allowing sin does not mean it is His will. He hates every sin. But I can see that there can be an honest difference of opinion based on the definition of "God's will."

God creates evil in the sense of allowing it. Otherwise there can be no true free moral agency. You cannot have one without the other.

Common definition? Please post the link to that common definition.

Damn, I should have listened to Clemens.

“Never argue with a fool, onlookers may not be able to tell the difference.”

Please don't let those man tits on God's bitch scare you too much!

Anon Apr. 3 at 4:53 AM begged Anon Apr. 2 at 7:30 PM for a link to the common definition of "being someone's bitch." I am not 7:30 PM, but I was curious. Here you go:

https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Someones%20bitch

The definition does not use the word "puppet," but that word would fit the circumstances.

Begged? Hilarious!

A slave is a far cry from a puppet.

Very lousy try.

7:30pm said puppet was a """common""" definition and so far no one has found one definition using that word.

Here's a definition of a puppet:

3: one whose acts are controlled by an outside force or influence

Not once did I say that God "controlled" Satan, I said that God used Satan to serve his purpose. Therefore Satan is God's bitch or slave as your definition states, but he's not God's puppet. He has free will, which God uses to, as I said, His purpose.

I find it hilarious how people will continue to argue even after they've been proven wrong.

Also, how did the debate go from whether we should fear Satan to the definition of bitch or puppet? Oh yeah, someone attempting to change the subject after being shown unequivocally that a Christian need not fear Satan.
