Gerald Weston Delivers Another Uplifting Message To The Faithful

Various Churches of God are over-stimulated right now with all the different news stories going on in the United States and the world. From COVID-19,  locusts, mayflies, riots, people on lockdown around the world, and many more events, COG leaders see world unraveling before their eyes. They see prophecy coming alive in their time, even though every single prediction they all made in the past as been 100% wrong. This time it will be different!  They will be vindicated!

Gerald Weston, continues the Living Church of God tradition of dwelling on all the wrong going on the world as proof they are right. LCG has always loved giving encouraging messages to the faithful.

Apparently, Satan and God are both ticked off at the world.

Greetings from Charlotte,
How swiftly a nation can be brought down! The whole world is aware of what happened in Minneapolis a little over a week ago. We see a house divided and we know what Jesus said about that. We must remember that we in the Church are, above all else, followers of Christ and brothers and sisters begotten of the same Spirit. Rather than saying any more on this subject at this time, I have written a letter to all members addressing the bigger picture.
We are not even halfway through 2020 and the world is reeling from one blow after another. COVID-19 has killed hundreds of thousands and destroyed economies around the world. Riots are tearing apart city after city in the United States. Desert locusts continue to eat their way across East Africa, the Middle East, and into Pakistan and India, threatening apocalyptic starvation. Who knows what else “the prince of the power of the air” will throw at us.
Opening in-person services is going slowly, as many halls are not yet open for our use, and where they are open, there are restrictions limiting occupancy to 25 or 50 percent of capacity, and many halls are not large enough for social distancing at any percent. I encourage our ministry to think creatively, but prudently, not jeopardizing safety. And if members have ideas or suggestions, please work through your local minister.—Gerald Weston

God will make it better in the kingdom....
We're not of this world..

We don't vote..
We don't protest..
We don't volunteer..

We do provide a telecast giving the "Ezekiel warning"..
We do publish a magazine few actually care to read..
We do pretend to have all the answers and a more sure word of prophecy..
We do ignore science, reason, and all facts that contradict our limited world view..

This is LCG and this is every COG. Straining over bread crumbs, ignoring the suffering of their neighbors, and avoiding doing anything to actually improve the world.

"We in the church are, above all else, followers of Christ."

Sounds great, but in reality has never been the case in the ACOGs. I have yet to read an article in any of their publications on how to recognize Christ's lead in ones life. Rather "Following Christ" has been tortured into meaning blindly following the church leader or the local minister. Failing to do so results in all manner of abuse. This is lording it over others rather than leading.

Thanks to the thorough scientific refutation of Armstrong-Anglo-Israelism on this blog, I don't see how this 'LCG' movement, as it calls itself, has a shred of credibility, or chance of survival in the new information age!

Whether or not this is the "END" can be debated, but one thing is for sure, there is an unravelling occurring, and life and the future have definitely changed. It is naive to think otherwise.

I dont think the "scientific" refutation does anything for the demise of Armstrongism.

The current unravelling of the Anglo-Anerican Empire without a return of any god might do the trick.

We'll be all joining the religion of the coming Empire of the day.

Moonies?

"Religion" is a Western concept anyway, shaped by the projection of the nature of the prime God. (paternal/male, white blue eyed god)

Over the centuries religion has always been a way of life, shaped by shared ideas regarding a society.

Current society is in revolution and needs a new common narrative to shape.

Indeed "The End" is near, as in "Umwertung aller Werte".

Further on this racist Armstrong-Anglo-Israel dogma - as foolishly embraced by this "L.C.G"(as they call themselves.) All one has to do is peruse the irrefutable logic of this recent post by one of our contributors here - quoted below:

(from Non_Ecliptic_Orbit)

" I have seen the idea of "a great nation and a company of nations" and the control of sea gates many times as a proof of BI. It is an easily grasped concept. But the problem is Spain.

" The Spanish in Europe are the same people genetically as the British - They are both haplogroup R1b with some other admixtures. They both dominated the high seas and controlled sea gates. They both had large overseas colonies. Large populations of Western Europeans live in southern Brazil, Uruguay and Argentina. The Brits control Gibraltar and Panama but the Spanish are standing right next to them. But the Brits got a huge temperate zone continent in the northern hemisphere and the Spanish got the jungle. But Hoeh classed our Spanish kindred as Gentile and the fact that they fulfill the same prophetic checklist as the Brits originally is never mentioned.

" And no matter how tightly this argument from geography might be drawn, it is totally trumped by genetic evidence.

" I detect in this post a note, not of joy, but of resignation. This is what Armstrongism does to people of color. They capitulate to Blackwellian racism."

Society unraveling? Let's look back to the 1960's- early 70's: assassinations of Medgar Evers, JFK, MLK, RFK, Charlie Manson and the Tet Offensive, Lt. William Calley, Mai Lai, Pentagon papers, Kent State University shooting. We've been here before, and we have survived.

You speak of a time when the ww2 generation shaping the fabric and (international) powerstructure that generated armstrongism was at the peak of its power.

I speak of the current revolution after 30 years of Marxist education.

In Europe the Right was surprised by what they call "waves of immigrants". In reality the kids of migrant workers that were previously hidden in schools, just turned 18 and started looking for jobs.

In the US the "surprise" wave of revolution will increase since every year more and more Marxists are thrown on the market.

A Marxist defined as someone who (for various reasons) does not work for what is, acquired.

Reasons
-massive unemployment (tech revolution)
-inherited wealth (chinese buying debt)
-inherited empire (instead of battled for on the beaches if normandy, which were an investment as compared to all bush policies)

Didnt hear that at fox covering west point commencement didnt you.

Weston does not understand this eroding process, since he speaks about "swiftly", but the church was not changed "swiftly", the erodin process took decades for corruption to creep in, some argue that process started in 1941 already.

WW1's Woodrow Wilson was a progressive, so it dates back prior to 1941. Even the Pilgrim colony just about failed because of their initial communist policies. The "swiftly" changes are the result of the physical world suddenly catching up with the attitude changes that been ongoing for decades, as you point out. Which is why Hitler was able to make drastic changes in his first 100 days in power. The same with Joe Tkach making his rapid changes in the church. The physical and mental were quickly brought into alignment.

Thx for the additions.
Re 1941: I referred to HWA turning to one man rulership. But everything HWA = Woodrow Wilson.... Internationalism.
