Herbert Armstrong's Tangled Web of Corrupt Leaders
I look at this as an unfair war. On one side you have trigger happy Dave Machine Gun Pack firing off a never ending barrage of verbal bullshit which can't even hit the side of a barn. On the other side, you have a peacefully sleeping Dee Bunker who had a pansy pants white shirt patsy sneak in in the dark of night and steal a few of his finished documentaries.
What Dave I guess doesn't realize is that Dee has a bigger faster firing and accurate gun which hits the target with every shot. It is no contest really except for all of the prisoners who can't seem to escape.
With Dave's machine gun mouth out of action for the moment we know for sure that Christ is not returning right now. I thought I would be bored not hearing anything for a week, but a pissed off Dee stood up and filled the void admirably, showing us that the whole construct of the declared return is a complete failure from the top.
Since Dave unabashedly believes that he knows the day and hour of the return of Jesus Christ and no one else does, I think it is safe to come to the conclusion after hearing his track record of figuring it all wrong, that most everybody is a lot closer to being right just by knowing That Jesus Christ isn't going to return when Dave and the headquarter ministers say he is.
