Whether it was a 10 million dollar Auditorium and "House for God" in 1971 or Dave's Garden of Cretin in Wadsworth, it defined (and apologized for), with "Matthew 24:46 It will be good for that servant whose master finds him doing so when he returns."

To Dave's shame, his pagan garden symbols don't rise to the grandeur of Herbie's dicks and balls garden features on the Pasadena campus. Please send poor Pack some cash!

I always loved the picture of Herbie's dining room table with the three lesbians dead center of the table. Delightful! Those young senior men must have loved staring at them while having Senior Dinners at Herbies house.
Its just a garden project meant to lift the denominational mood. Nothing more per se. To attempt to entangle it in all kinds of noisome symbolism is paying Armstrongists in their own coin but in the last analysis is just a defunct argument.
This is more concerning as the first step on the slippery slope inclining towards our becoming like Armstrongists in impaired rationality if not theology. Armstrongism consists of two principle moments: content and methodology. It is possible to condemn Armstrongism for its content but at the same time and in the same debate succumb to its methodology. But that's a sidebar.
Who can forget all the phallic ornamental shrubbery on the Pasadena campus. The steps leading to Ambassador Hall (Merritt Mansion) not only had the vertical phallus but nice perfectly rounded testicles next to them. The auditorium was supported by symbolic phalluses as was the Student Center. Given the amount of sex that went on in both these buildings, it was appropriate!
The auditorium had a symbolic female vagina with an erect sculpture protruding out of the center of it. Looking at an arial shot you can see the pagan fertility goddess in the bridge configuration. With the vagina or heart in the middle, arms out stretched to the SC and HofA, the torso descending down to front of auditorium and the legs extending out along the front and then down along the side of the auditorium with the walkways.
I always wondered why the RCG needs a Grand Garden, stables and expensive horses whilst a lot of members live in poverty. I know a lot of RCG members asked the church for financial help last year because of the corona crisis and all they got was ‘We are sorry, we can’t help you. The church doesn’t have the funds for that’
The already financially drained members funded this garden. The sad part is that they are not allowed to use it except on the Sabbath and then only for a short period of time.
By using the same kind of anti-pagan arguments against the COGs that they use against other Christians, it may well help those in the COGs recognize they are being inconsistent in their defending of the COGs but not other Christians. That seems to be the motivation of the video.

The egret was not occult. The initial statue was intended without the pole. Pasadena construction procedures mandated the reenforcement pole.
The meaning and name was "Aspiration", as in the soaring of the human spirit into greatness.
As was tbe meaning of the platters, fit for kings and emperors to dine from as a parting gift to AC graduates.
