I do not think anyone here considers Bob an enemy. He is too funny for that to ever happen. Just because we point out his craziness doesn't make him an enemy. The real enemies of the church are David C Pack and Gerald Flurry. They have the potential to do some serious harm, even greater than what they have already. Bob is a benign pathic leader. Everyone here sees through his lies and that's why he is picked on. Bob has pulled so much out of his ass that he is beyond belief anymore and because of that, no one takes him seriously. He is a walking, talking parody of all that is wrong in the church. He is so crazy how can he be an enemy?
Besides the above, COG ministers and leaders take themselves far too seriously and have their asses clenched tighter than the elephants on the ark did. COG ministers, leaders, and some members need to lighten up.
When Dennis and I talk on the phone about Bob and crazy COG stuff on this blog, all we do is laugh. How can anyone take the COG seriously anymore? Herbert Armstrong would be appalled at the batshit crazy men leading the COG today, even at the ones that were trained at his feet, as too many still claim they were.
What makes you think we don't? Because we don't publicly announce "We will pray for you"? Publicly saying something and privately doing something are not the same.

True love is much more than hugging and flattering someone who is screwing up. Authentic love is holding someone accountable for the hurt he causes other people.
The "Bwana Bob" name-calling isn't love. Love is pointing out that Dr. Bob Thiel NEEDS a doctor, as he is visibly displaying the signs of several psychological illnesses that if left untreated will not just harm the people around him, but may end in self-harm.
I actually do care about Thiel. We are all made in the image of God, and Christ died for all of us, and each of us are worthy of death from our misdeeds.
However, I care even more about the potentially deceived naive Africans that he is misleading. Obstructing those who are harming others is a worthy thing. Illustrating Thiel's ridiculousness with ridicule is not unheard of even in the Bible. Many a Bible hero and events, used sarcasm in their pronouncements against heresy.
Off topic, what happened to Packatola? Is he hiding in a bunker, on vacation,perhaps re-thinking all his failed prophersies, now that would give him a headache would take a lot of Tylenol, anyway summer is here,perhaps he is strolling on his magnificent compound, although he probably dosn't get very far from his gated private entrance to his home. INHO Dr. Bob is both sincere and harmless. He is not a Dave Pack, Gerald Flurry or Ron Weinland. My fascination is why a man, who has a doctorate and a practice in naturopathy (I believe) would feel this compelling need to be an end time, falsely so called, prophet? Is it "little man syndrome"? Is it being God haunted? Did the Catholic Church torture him in this life and perhaps a few before and it's payback time? I don't get it. What a hassle.
At best, Bob is a news commentator like thousands of others. He just puts the appropriate Bible question to it and somehow that makes it "prophecy coming alive!" Then of course it wasn't and we forget about that article waiting on the next one for him to get to say it all again. Gosh, without high and low pressure systems, seasons and people getting in the way of it all, he'd be able to get back to doctoring or takin his family and kids to the coast before they grow up and leave. The day will come where he will wish he had done more of that instead of dreaming.
He depends on Bronze Age hocus pocus to divine the mind, will and voice of God through dreams. Who does that today but the unstable and delusional?
Bob will live, chirp prophetic nonsense and die in time like everyone else.

Bob's latest trauma is that got one warning from YouTube. I recall in Bob's "why Bob left LCG" article that Rod feared Bob would call unfavorable attention to LCG if he was "too strong".
And along with other contributors at Banned, my rather mild recollection of LCG/CCOG history was quoted. When will he realize we're trying, at least some of us, in various ways, to offer him critique that would actually help him?
