LCG Doubles Down On Jesus…Says His Name Twice!

I guess the boys in Charlotte are getting tired of being mocked because Jesus is not discussed much in their writings, so they did something about it this week. They said his name twice!!!!!!!!!! Though, it is only about him coming at some point in the future. God forbide if they actually discussed this dude in 2022.

An LCG source sent me this:

"They doubled the mentions of Jesus in this one, twice compared to once last time. But it's only future Jesus of course."

While many are discovering that some of their children’s teachers are doing more indoctrinating than educating, there are still many good teachers out there. They are often underappreciated and taken for granted. Many face challenges from every direction, from disrespect in classrooms to threats on their lives. Some schools in the USA pay a “combat pay” bonus to teachers in dangerous schools. The Bible warned of a time when disrespectful children would become oppressors (Isaiah 3:4; 2 Timothy 3:1–4). However, prophecies also tell of a time after Jesus Christ’s return, when teachers will once again show students the right way to live (Isaiah 30:20–21). At that time, parents will take a much more prominent role in teaching their own children (Deuteronomy 4:9–10; 6:6–7). To learn more about this important topic, read “Misguided Education and the Decline of Western Civilization.”

Europe Needs a Leader: With Angela Merkel gone, Europe has a power vacuum. French president Emmanuel Macron, whose nation is currently serving a six-month term as presidency of the Council of the EU, is ambitious and driven but is often seen as working solely for France. Many of his European peers also distrust him (Carnegie Europe, February 10, 2022). One analyst noted Macron is the de facto leader of Europe: “While some EU member states are skeptical of Paris, the alternatives to French leadership are few.”

Merkel’s successor, Olaf Scholz, has been a disappointment, even to many Germans. Chancellor Scholz has been slow to act on major issues, including Russia and the Ukraine. Politico reported that “after two months at the helm of a three- party coalition, the Social Democrat is under fire on multiple fronts, accused of failing to show leadership, sending muddled messages and taking too soft a line with Moscow in its showdown with Ukraine and the West” (February 7, 2022). Global headlines regarding his lack of leadership have been unflattering. Will Chancellor Scholz turn it around and lead Europe as his predecessor did for many years, or will he leave this opportunity to a successor?

The lack of strong and respected leadership generates national uncertainty and disrespect on the world stage. Historically, the rule of weak leaders is often followed by a backlash and a demand for a strong one. Bible prophecy indicates that a strong leader will emerge in Europe just before the end of the age. This individual, referred to as a “beast” in prophecy, will have strong ties to a worldwide false religion, direct a powerful political entity described as a mixture of “iron and clay,” and be supported by ten leaders just before the return of Jesus Christ (Daniel 2:40–45; Revelation 13 and 17). Students of Bible prophecy should watch for such a leader to appear in Europe. For more information, watch “The Beast of Revelation.”—Scott Winnail and Francine Prater

Yah know, you gotta feel sorry for these people. They can't come up with anything that piques peoples' interest! Nothing they do ever goes viral, and massive interest in them and their little movement is what they have been programmed to expect, so that they can become the gatekeepers for the end times and get expelled by the Feds to the place of safety (patent applied for).

Oh well!

Let’s see. Herbert was preaching about this beast 85 years ago. Rod preached about it in Global and Living until he died. Then Dick Ames harps about it nearly every telecast he does. Remember it’s always a revival of the Holy Roman Empire. Germany is going to invade the U.S. and take Israel (us) captive. “Surely” it will only be 2-3 years at most from now.

I am absolutely shocked that ANY of these Armstrong cults have survived as long as they have. I'm guessing that their membership is predominantly elderly people.

What up wit Francine writing with/for Scott?
Is she doing all the work and then LCG adds the dude's name for the sake of endorsing it with male legitimacy?
LCG's rules do state that female folk must remain silent and not teach - especially not teach the men, the heads, the masters.
Are the men of LCG not supposed to read and learn from this LCG missive?
Does LCG not get the hierarchy of the Government of God?
According to LCG custom, should not Francine be home with the babies, instead of consorting for dollars in close quarters with Scott?
The Ghostbusters Gang prophesied it best, thus I quote - kinda, to the best of my ancient memory:
"Fire and brimstone coming down from the skies… Rivers and seas boiling… Dogs and cats living together, LCG men and women - unmarried to each other, yet collaborating as one flesh ... mass hysteria!”
Surely we see THE end times before us!
Repent now LCG, before the terrible trib be upon thee!

Nope. In this day and age, too many viewpoints are available, and most of what the COGs offer is so dated and silly that their outreach efforts can't be bringing in much. Probably explains why we have low-quality proselytizers here on the blog every so often.

Anon 4:05 they survived because God preserved them.

Many people, including those from non-HWA denominations, are looking at the book of Revelation, plus observing the world scene. They have concluded that that the four horsemen of the apocalypse are near. Labelling all these as under the undue influence of cults is disingenuous.

God didn't inspire the book of Revelation exclusively for true Christians. It's a warning for all mankind, spanning thousands of years.

People do funny things, 7:49. Many people look to Nostradamus and read Edgar Cayce. Especially during times when the world scene kind of sucks for a while.

God doesn't preserve dangerous cults, he eventually takes them out in his own time.

Yes, 9:50, if you are familiar with the verbiage of Revelation, it surely appears that God took a sip of Armstrongism and spewed the little splinters from His mouth. He divided and confused them much the same as the builders of the Tower of Babel. How is it that nobody within those groups can see and understand that?

"And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth." Revelation 6:8

Yes, most of the former WCG hirelings and, as you said, including non-HWA denominations, all think that the 4 horsemen are near, but is that true?

Many are so concerned thinking everything revolves around them, SELF, strive to make prophecies apply just to themSELVES. They feel they are the important ones, as if God's plan revolved just around them, and nobody else.

Where is their Mickey Mouse millennium with their Jesus very soon (yesterday?) to arrive to reign on earth for 1,000 years? Where is “The Great Tribulation” very soon to come (yesterday?)? Jesus told us in this world we shall have tribulation (John 16:33); what’s new?

Jesus hasn't stopped off at any of their neighborhoods (Reminds me of Mr. Rogers’ (not Dan Rogers of former WCG) song) so far. Where are those 10 kings, 10 nations, that were supposed to very soon (yesterday?) come out of Europe? Who is Gog? Who is the Beast? Who is the man of sin to be revealed at some point? Where is their proof to support some third resurrection? Is The God, the Father, the God of the Old Testament or is their long-held theory of Jesus, "another Jesus," that God of the Old Testament, etc.?

Why did the former WCG hirelings "pick up their bat and ball" and flee Pasadena, leaving their ministerial credentials behind, and scatter out to go start up their own things, re-credential themSELVES, create their own mission/doctrinal statements, and strive to accomplish better results than were achieved under HWA? They all look like failures and a lot of confusion: organized confusion...and disorganized confusion!

There is apparently a lot of ignorance out there. They do not appear to be bearing very much good fruit. They may think alike, but they certainly don't love one another, do they?

And yes, they think the 4 horsemen may soon be riding. Duh! Is it okay to say “Duh?”

Your last 2 sentences make lots of sense, where you wrote: "...God didn't inspire the book of Revelation exclusively for true Christians. It's a warning for all mankind, spanning thousands of years."

The Bible, including Revelation, appears to be a "Forever Book," for all mankind, and covers information from before the time of the Garden of Eden to some time in the future when all people will be God's people and God will dwell among them (Rev 21:3) and beyond, and time will tell. Certainly everyone does not understand it all now, but I don't believe God wasted His time inspiring events and people to do what they've done, and are yet to be done and do, and preserved it all for us.
To be continued…

Continuing…

Whether Revelation is a warning or not, it is a revealing of events God knew were to be worked out in a way showing that that God, the Father, who inspired it all and gave it to Jesus Christ to share it with other servants down through time, is the God (Isaiah 14:24-27), that LORD of hosts!

God knows Satan by hundreds of names and we've been told that Satan is the god of this world (2 Cor 4:4), although many of the xcog hirelings may be too blind to believe that anymore. Who knows what the hirelings still believe and took with them when they fled the former WCG organization they all, once upon a time, thought was "God's Church?" Are they of God, or are they of “another spirit (2 Cor 11:13-15)?” Time is telling.

Consider this speculation if you desire, but each of those 4 horsemen may be just 4 more names/phrases exposing Satan and his angels (Eph 6:12), and what they are allowed to do on earth over thousands of years since the days of the Garden of Eden: the power that Satan (most subtil beast) and his angels (beasts of the field, 2 Peter 2:12) have to deceive (Rev 12:9), cause wars, famines, murders (John 8:44), LIES, diseases, bondage, oppressions (Acts 10:38; Heb 2:15), deaths (Heb 2:14), etc. For exsmplr, ee know Satan's involvement with the murder of Abel (I John 3:12). Deception, prior to Cain and Abel, was at work in the lives of both Adam and Eve, who were destined to learn about evil; they knew the good.

Today, our Earth is approximately 75% under water The land mass exposed out of water, approximately 1/4th of the Earth) contains the bulk of humanity, animals, birds, sources of food, etc., and Verse 8 says this:

"...And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth."

So, who is the "them" allowed to have such awesome power over the fourth part of the earth?

Is it Satan and his angels that one day will be taken and destroyed (2 Peter 2:12; Matthew 25:41, 46; Ezekiel 28:19 (For Doug/Scott Winnail: That is an Ezekiel warning message...to Satan!...and his angels!)).

God allows it all, as part of a plan whereby, among other things, we will learn to hate evil. Not hate "them;" or hate fellow human beings, but hate the evil as numerous scriptures have told us to do. It is Satan who has humans wrestling humans. All of the world really is deceived!

When will the former WCG hirelings, apparently driven by another spirit to be blind leaders of the blind, wake up and become offended enough like the Pharisees (Matthew 15:11-14) and stop wrestling with fellow human beings making them think they can qualify to earn their salvation, and stop spewing out false theories, and replace them with messages that God the Father, by the power of His Spirit, gave to His Son Jesus Christ: such as loving one another, gospel of peace, gospel of the grace of God, etc.?

Time will tell...

You say: “God didn't inspire the book of Revelation exclusively for true Christians. It's a warning for all mankind, spanning thousands of years.”

The Bible says: “The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him TO SHOW HIS SERVANTS—things which must shortly take place” (Revelation 1:1).
