Are You Prideful and Filled With Super Vanity?

Armstrongism has trained its followers to constantly believe they must be DOING something all the time to support the amazing "work" that they all think they do.

This drivel above is from a speaker at one of the Great Bwana to Africa and 100 Caucasians' so-called "feast" sites. It is pretty amazing to see him speak about "super vanity" when his own Chief Overseer is the vainest church leader in the history of Armstrongism. The Great Bwana Mzungu doesn't have an ounce of humility in his body. That is obvious from all of his speaking and booklets that are all about himself and the imaginary amazing "work" he thinks he is doing. Pride seems to be the Great Bwana's middle name.

The speaker wants everyone to be "hopeful and optimistic". That can ONLY happen once a person leaves the improperly named '"continuing" Church of the lesser god".

All of the sermon topics the Great Bwana has boasted about at his so-called "feast" this year have never mentioned Christ at all. Basic Christian understanding totally escapes this guy.

On another note...here is the Great Bwana's United States Feast site:

How can I be hopeful and optimistic when the preacher looks perturbed as he is speaking. What a shitshow Bob's cult has turned out to be.

What is it with that pathetic backdrop? Did no one have the foresight to unroll the banner in the sun to get the creases out? Bobism has no idea what professionalism is.

That's a Dells feast site? When I was in up to the 80's, that would have been a dinner at a restaurant!

We all know that God gave Bwana Bob a double-portion of vanity.

he's perturbed that some of us want to do as his buddies & "prove all things"

Attendance just like what I experienced at Jeckyl Island, 1970. I can almost hear the Gulfstream Jet flying overhead.

First of all, there is no such thing as a superiority complex. People who put off that vibe are compensating.

Secondly, inorder to be strong, charismatic, and helpful to others, you must feel good about yourself. A positive self-image is in fact essential if you are to be successful in life.

Finally, as John Lennon sang, "One thing you can't hide, is if you are crippled inside!"

Armstrongism: give 10% tithe, excess 2nd, third, 7 feasts, convocations all FOT 7 days.

NC: no tithing, 3 feasts, commanded convocation first FOT day only.

A world-shaking work is coming!. These 25 people will shake the nations and be kings and priests!

Who are the 144,000?

I don't know but we only have 139,975 more members to go!

With a can do attitude, poor drapes, mis aligned shelving, and the charisma of an inchworm, you too can fleece I mean find your flock.

To all in the COG's this is a microcosm of your own graying group long since past complete irrelevance. This one is just more laughable.

The size of these congregations is the report card on the effectiveness of the leader, and it corresponds exactly with my evaluation of Bob's effectiveness. One can tell a lot from such pictures, and the people in that group look exactly like the types of people who would listen to and follow a hand flailer with a dozen topics in each sermon, and crooked or wrinkled items in the background as he spoke. When you think about it, the wrinkled banner is right on form for Bob! It is exactly what you would expect, in fact.

Bob believes he is effective, but he is not. He made a fool of himself when in LCG trying to con us with his self-perceived "brilliance". He turned so many against him and against what he does. Bob's greatness lies entirely inside his head. Now that his African ministers have been exposed as corrupt and pagan to the core, he has no leg to stand on.

In 2019 that banner was prominently held up with stupid black duct tape

12:38 writes:

"NC: no tithing"

Eze 20:33 As I live, saith the Lord GOD, surely with a mighty hand, and with a stretched out arm, and with fury poured out, will I rule over you:
Eze 20:37 And I will cause you to pass under the rod, and I will bring you into the bond of the covenant:

Eze 20:40  “For on my holy mountain ... there all the house of Israel, all of them, shall serve me in the land. There I will accept them, and there I will require your CONTRIBUTIONS [TERUMA]... (ESV).

Num 18:24a  For the tithe of the people of Israel, which they present as a CONTRIBUTION [TERUMA] to the LORD, I have given to the Levites for an inheritance. (ESV).

What is your argument that tithing will not be part of the contributions required by God in the NC?

Who are the 144,000? well Bob & maybe that speaker insinuate that it's the hoardes of black people in the bubble dream seen by NZ lady!

And additionally, when worldwide news events supposedly become prophetically "fulfilled" soon, his literature sort of hints that even more "white people" and all races worldwide will join the Kenyans & Malawians in the final HWA-style "world shakeup" this decade! Or, maybe Kenya alone will increase to 144,000, from what the literature hints. I assume that's why the tithe collections go straight over to Africa along with funding some U.S. printing costs. He's pampering the Africans so they will be "nice" to the 25 Americans in pic when they flee over there for some pre-gathering, then it's on to Moab!

(one of them will respond here soon to critique my smart aleck comments...)

Answer: No specific mention of tithing. The Greek word in Numbers is terumah but in Ezekiel it is terumotekem [Biblehub.com]

3:54 your write:

“[The] word in Numbers is terumah but in Ezekiel it is terumotekem.”

I don’t understand your point.

In Numbers terumah is feminine singular but in Ezekiel terumotekem is feminine plural with a masculine plural pronominal suffix - literally “contributionsyours”.

As terumah is plural in Ezekiel then tithes may be included - if it is included, I suggest it does not need to be mentioned. I would then suggest that it cannot be definitely said that tithes are not included in the NC - but we can agree to disagree.

BTW 10:26 I have never given a sermon in my life and have no intention of doing so.
