Amen. We DO need each other, but we do NOT need an organization - especially one that traces its origins to the teachings of Herbert and/or Garner Ted Armstrong!
Leaving LCG was probably the easiest of the Global/WCG splits. All you have to do is listen to the sermons of many of the ministers and it's the same thing year after year. Richard Ames is the worst. Every holy day, feast, the same sermon year after year. I finally was bored out of my skull one too many times.
I was the same way with UCG. So much useless fluff and mindless banter by men not prepared to speak on their topics with no real understanding of their subject.

This was the day I left the Living Church of God along with my girlfriend. This was 7 years ago and we have never looked back with regret.
Always like to hear the success stories of those who successfully leave the cogs
