Dear Dr. Bob Thiel,

Your recent attack on me and others—calling us liars, troublemakers, and worse—has left me heartbroken, not for myself, but for you and for the precious brethren in Kenya and Malawi who are suffering under the weight of deception. I have prayed over this for days, asking the Lord to give me words of truth wrapped in love. Because I still love you as a brother in Christ. But love does not mean silence when souls are at stake.
Bob, you say you cannot handle lies. Yet time and again, you have chosen comforting lies over painful truth. And that, my brother, is the root of this tragedy.
You yourself admitted in a sermon that someone “put Bradox Ouma Ocheing’s name on the ballot” in the 2022 Kenyan elections—as if that excused everything. But Terry Nelson showed you the official Kenyan government documents. Bradox did run for MCA. His father, Evans Ocheing, knew it. They both looked you in the eye and lied to your face. Multiple leaders in CCOG Kenya testified to this in writing. Yet instead of removing Evans as you should have, you protected him. Why, Bob? Why protect a man caught in two separate Facebook sexting scandals? A man whose own church members say he made advances on hotel workers? A man so many leaders described as “not a good man,” yet they fear for their lives if they speak? These are not rumors. These are documented facts. And you know it.
You also openly admitted in that same sermon that you fired Sosten Libungwa for adultery and skimming money from the church. You said it yourself. Yet you reinstated him. According to the very Church of God doctrines you claim to uphold, that reinstatement was wrong. And you know it.
Then there is Radson Mulowzoa—the man you have repeatedly chosen to believe over everyone else.
Priscilla, his former wife, testified on video that Radson committed adultery while they were married. Their three heartbroken children stood up and confirmed it (those videos were posted on the Banned blog). Deacon Wahela recorded a testimony saying Radson “loves women” and visits witchdoctors. These are not anonymous accusations. These are named witnesses. You ignored them all. You believed Radson’s denials instead of the tears of innocent children.
In your official letter to the brethren in December 2023, you welcomed Radson back with open arms—without requiring him to repent or change his story. That decision told every leader in Kenya exactly where you stand.
And now, Bob, you have gone even further. You have admitted in recent messages that you support using the Kenyan authorities to arrest fellow believers who dare to speak the truth. You have not stopped Radson from doing this. In fact, you have funded it. You are using the power of the state—the same “Gestapo tactics” you once condemned in others—to silence your own brethren. Do you deny this? I pray you cannot.
You even refuse to acknowledge the photo of Radson tightly embracing Patricia Sambani—his second wife—because he told you she was “just a cousin.” Priscilla told you the truth. Evans knew the truth. Yet you chose the lie.
Brother, these are not small matters. These are the souls of God’s people. When a leader covers sin, protects the guilty, and punishes the truthful, he is no longer acting as a shepherd. He is scattering the flock.
You call yourself a prophet. You claim special revelation from God. Yet Dr. Roderick C. Meredith, the man who once believed in you, wrote you a letter before you left the Living Church of God warning that you were suffering from delusional thinking. I say this with sorrow, but I must concur. The Churches of God around the world do not recognize your ordination or your prophetic office. They see a man who has built his own kingdom on sand.
Bob, I am not your enemy. I am a concerned brother who has watched this pain for years. I beg you—repent. Turn away from these worldly tactics. Stop protecting the guilty and persecuting the innocent. Humble yourself before the God you claim to serve. Release the brethren you have allowed to be arrested. Restore what has been broken.
It is not too late.
The Jesus we both claim to follow said, “By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.” Right now, the love is missing. The truth is being buried. And the sheep are suffering.

If Bob were serious about understanding the Bible he would study Homer since a lot of it came from Homer. But of course, if you have never read Homer and studied the similarities, you would never know that. Ignorance is bliss.
Thiel's not going to repent or cop to anything. He'll just keep on doubling down. That's what agenda-led politicians, moguls, and executives do, and they manage to get away with it. Whatever he does or doesn't do, all of this anecdotal evidence which is regularly presented here will have a cumulative effect not unlike bad Yelp reviews or items found on the Snopes website.
I would suggest further sharing, though. The Exit and Support Network also publishes bad ACOG experiences. May as well give Bob some more free press.

That would be a true miracle. Humility isn't exactly one of Bob's strong points. How different things might be today if Gaylon Bonjour had given Bob a double portion of humility.
Rod Meredith often lamented that many of the earliest members of his Global Church of God were unstable individuals who greatly overestimated their spiritual stature. Bob is a perfect example of this.

Many of the first Global members hoped to do with RCM exactly what RCM did with HWA. They hoped that by latching themselves to Rod and puffing him up, they would rise. That's exactly what Rod and Herman Hoeh did with HWA, made themselves into bigwigs by inflating Herbert into a bigger-wig.
Bob, in retrospect, was one of those early Global members who did the reverse. They thought of themselves as special, and they accepted Rod as their superior to the extent that he validated their specialness. As soon as it became clear that Rod expected these special early members to submit to the ministers that Rod put into authority when they came over from WCG, they bolted for the doors, like Norm Edwards did early on and Bob did later.
That's just the thing, 5:41! Monsieur Bonjour could not GIVE Bob any spiritual quality, fruit or gift. He could only pray that GOD would grant such a quantity to him! Who is to say that God even answered that prayer? Does Gaylon Bonjour believe that God answered his prayer in the way in which Bob has proclaimed?Even if Bob were an officially ordained Armstrongite minister, is it true that God has always granted healing to those whom these ministers anoint? Can a diploma mill degree be anointed so that it carries the same importance as a degree from Harvard, or Oxford? What about all the complaints about Satan's frequent attacks? Doesn't God protect Armstrongite ministers against Satan so they can fulfill the great commission of spreading the Armstrong half a gospel? Does God bless everyone who tithes to these people? Look at the history of Armstrongism. Did God grant Herbert W Armstrong the understanding of history and prophecy leading to his dogmatic proclamations about the US and BC and 1975? They spun the total failure of that, and said it was merely postponed, and now we find that the dna isn't even right, so that entire prophecy scenario is not even possible. Yes, Germany is now rearming and making noises, but their concern is that we as a nation are becoming politically and philosophically exactly as they were during the 1930s and '40s! Their desire is that we could be returned to sanity, just as we did for them via WW-II.
Bob Thiel is a participant in a bogus, false, and toxic system, one that by all rights and logic should have vanished late in 1975! Instead, although it has become greatly throttled, it still maintains a meager and banal existence. A rodent died in the carburetor and the gas has gone stale, so the car won't start. Oh well! It was always a Yugo, never a Ferrari!
HWA was a naturally talented individual. We must recognize those talents, even as we repudiate his false teachings. He used those talents the wrong way, and built a deceptive empire, one to which he falsely assigned an etherial commission or destiny. Those who seek his mantle today are the types of people who would believe that if only they could have Eric Clapton's guitar, they could play it just as beautifully as Eric Clapton. It's very hard I imagine to call him a brother, but if he's following Christs example, then of course he is right.
