LCG Wants To Know if You Are A "Peacemaker?"

LCG's Winnail sent out the following missive the other day:

Are You a Peacemaker?  As the world approaches the end of December, we will hear about “peace on earth” and the need for “peaceful relations” among the peoples of the world.  Yet, the Bible reveals that human beings do not know “the way of peace” (Isaiah 59:8).  In light of this crying need, it is not surprising that a fundamental aspect of Christianity involves learning how to be a peacemaker.  Jesus taught, “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God” (Matthew 5:9).  The Apostle Paul advised Christians to “live peaceably with all men” (Romans 12:17-21). Paul explained that we can become peacemakers by not seeking revenge, by not mistreating others when we are mistreated and by overcoming evil with good.  Solomon wisely observed, “A soft answerer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger” (Proverbs 15:1).  Solomon also stated, “He who covers [overlooks and forgives] a transgression seeks love, but he who repeats [talks about and won’t let go of] a matter separates friends” (Proverbs 17:9).  Peter mentions that getting rid of pride and learning to work together with humility leads to peaceful relations with others.  Real peacemakers will go to their brother or sister when problems arise and talk things over in a spirit of meekness (Matthew 18:15; James 3:17-18).  The Bible reveals that the key to peace and peaceful relations with others is to love and follow the laws of God (Psalm 119:165).

Maybe we should ask Winnail if his boss is a "peacemaker."  Rod has a reputation of being anything but peaceful.  He was disruptive and spiteful when he was over the ministry. He was spiteful with Leona McNair which cost the church hundreds of thousands of dollars in legal fees and court judgments.  He broke up hundreds of relationships and marriages over the years. He was angry with HWA which caused him to be exiled to Hawaii.  He connived and was disruptive behind the scenes when Tkach was bringing the changes down the pipeline.  He conspired with various elders and deacons to form Global Church of God while he was still in the employ of WCG.  He had a non-peaceful meltdown when Global refused to let him have his way and then proceeded to take all of Global's money when he formed Living Church of God.  He was being anything but peaceful when he allowed Raymond and Eve McNair to grovel on their knees in front of him "with trembling lips" begging forgiveness for rebellion against him. His hate filled sermons lead one of his followers to murder five people in Wisconsin during a LCG Church service.

In light of all of that I can easily say that Living Church of God and Rod Meredith are anything but peaceful.
Nor, do I want anything to do with the "peace" they think they have to offer!

Emergency Fast Declared For Rod Meredith

Living Church of God has been struck with numerous health issues regarding it's leaders and HQ employees.

Therefore, lo and behold, Jesus spoke to Rod Meredith in a private conversation the other day, and told him to declare a church wide fast so that God would intervene in the health situations of Rod and Ames.

I guess Jesus was too weak of a pansy to do anything about it so he told Rod to go above him (Jesus) to get some action on the situation

Dear brethren and ministers around the world,

Greetings to all of you and love from all of us here in Charlotte! We are very grateful for the love and loyalty shown by virtually all of you and for the wonderful blessings showered upon us during the recent festival season. As some of you may have heard, we were blessed to have more than 9,000 people attending the Feast of Tabernacles this autumn! That is a new record—for which we are thankful! Most of all, of course, God is concerned with the spiritual strength of our brethren and we certainly do want to emphasize that which is more important. However, we are grateful that God is adding to our numbers in the Church, and that we are continuing to have wonderful responses to the telecast nearly every week and that the impact of this Work around the world is certainly growing—especially as prophetic events speed up.

However, my immediate purpose in writing all of you at this time is to explain the reason for the upcoming Church FAST on the Sabbath of December 17. There were many instances in biblical times when God’s servants called for a fast. Remember how—as the “Day of the Lord approaches”—God’s true ministers were exhorted: “Consecrate a fast, call a sacred assembly; gather the elders and all the inhabitants of the land into the house of the Lord your God, and cry out to the Lord. Alas for the day! For the day of the Lord is at hand; it shall come as destruction from the Almighty” (Joel 1:14-15).

When Daniel sorrowed over the “desolations of Jerusalem,” and the need for God’s intervention, what did he do? “Then I set my face toward the Lord God to make request by prayer and supplications, with fasting, sackcloth, and ashes. And I prayed to the Lord my God, and made confession, and said, ‘O Lord, great and awesome God, who keeps His covenant and mercy with those who love Him, and with those who keep His commandments’” (Daniel 9:3-4). And when the soon-to-be Apostle Paul was struck down and blinded to humble him and to “awaken” him, notice what he did: “Then Saul arose from the ground, and when his eyes were opened he saw no one. But they led him by the hand and brought him into Damascus. And he was three days without sight, and neither ate nor drank” (Acts 9:8-9).

Dear brethren, as you know from our previous announcements, we have had an entire series of extremely serious illnesses among God’s people in recent months—including a number of our leading people directly involved in the Work. We all know that the radiant faith of people like Peter and Paul is very seldom found among God’s people today. We remember Jesus’s statement: “Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?” (Luke 18:8).

After meditating and praying about these things and conferring with our leading ministers here in Charlotte, I have been led by Jesus Christ to call for a Church-wide fast on the Sabbath of December 17—beginning, of course, the previous evening at sunset. I urge all of you faithful members, in Jesus’ name, to join with us in this day of fasting and prayer and in earnestly seeking God and asking for His special mercy at this time and for the supernatural healing of His people through the “stripes” of Jesus Christ (1 Peter 2:24). 

Dear brethren, as the end of this age approaches, let us all cry out to God for more of His Spirit, more of His power through divine healings and the “gifts of the Spirit.” I will not expound on this more here as a special taped sermon should arrive in time to explain all of this even more thoroughly. But I wanted to get this message to all of our people—ahead of time—so that you may be preparing yourselves—both physically and spiritually—for the upcoming fast. May God continue to guide and bless every one of you as you walk with Him.

Will Meredith Do The Right Thing?

Harold Camping, has been publicly humiliated twice for predicting the start of the endtimes.   Countless loyal members sold belongings and gave their money to the church.  Children's education and futures were destroyed because of their cultish parents.  Jobs were lost, homes were lost, friendships broken and marriages destroyed.

So where have we heard that all before? 1936, 1938, 1946, 1971, 1972, 1975, 1986, 2014, 2017, 2021.....????  Armstrognism has been one failed prophecy after another.  Herbert Armstrong's teachings, Rod Meredith and Ronnie Wienalnd are currently the three biggest fraudulent end times hucksters out there.  Liars all.

 There is one difference in Camping compared to Meredith and Wienland.  Camping has admitted he was wrong and has resigned.  Meredith admits no wrong because he has never committed a major sin since baptism, so how can he be wrong?  Weinland is, well........Weinland.  A total failure and false prophet..  A lying man  and a lying wife.  The Two Witless Witnesses!  What do the Armstrongites find fascinating about this idiot?


Because he admits his failures he is resigning.  Now the question we need to ask Rod Meredith is, "When can we expect your resignation?"

The Daily Mail reports:

The California radio preacher made a name for himself and Family Radio by claiming the world would end on May 21 - then again on October 21.

Now he has decided to resign, apologising for leading his followers astray and admitting that he finds the whole thing rather ‘embarrassing’.

Mr Camping added that he was wrong to say earlier this year that people who did not believe May 21 was the rapture date were not saved by God.

‘I should not have said that and I apologise for that,’ he said, adding that people should not feel they have been ‘abandoned by God’.

The Awesomeness of the Living Church of God

The Living Church of God has to be be of the most awesome churches on the face of the earth!  It's no wonder that all LCG members walk around radiating light because of their perfect Christian walk.  With such a  sinless leader how could they be anything less?

During this summer our evangelistic team headed by Roderick C. Meredith has held three dynamic campaigns in England–in Bristol, in Birmingham, and in Manchester–with from 40 to 65 added for God’s Kingdom in each campaign. And let me add that this does not mean a mere “accepting Christ,” or “professing Christ,” or “decision for Christ.” It means full REPENTANCE of sin, and full FAITH in Christ as Saviour not only from past sins, but from any continuance in sin! It means a completely CHANGED LIFE! It means complete CONVERSION, a change from the carnal to a spiritual MIND–from a worldly to a Spirit-filled and Spirit-led LIFE. It means being BEGOTTEN by God’s Holy Spirit as a child of God.

Living Church of God: Members Forced To Watch Film About Life of Rod

Apostle Malm is reporting on happenings in Living Church of God at the Feast of Tabernacles.  There seems to be a power struggle going on as the top brass attempt to see who can kiss Rod's ass the best.  Also, the LCG membership was subjected to a film on the life of Meredith while at the Feast.  God forbid if you got up and walked out during that!

I wonder if it talked about how Meredith claims he has never committed a major sin since baptism. Or how he made the membership and ministers lives miserable when he was over the ministry.  Did they include Meredith standing up in Tuscon bad mouthing Leona McNair causing him and the WCG to get sued?  Did it include film of Rod screaming and throwing a fit in the Auditorium during the receivership?  Did it include film of HWA removing him from office and banishing him from Pasadena for a year?  Did they include film of him planning to form a splinter cult while the WCG was defending him in court for his loud mouth?  Did they include film when he refused to reimburse hundreds of thousands of dollars that  members loaned him to start Global Church of God after he jumped ship to form Living Church of God?  Did they include film of Raymond and Eve McNair on their knees in front of him asking for forgiveness "with trembling lips?"

This film has to be one of the biggest whitewashes ever produced about a COG minister! But then, most of the Feast films were always propaganda that painted a rosy picture over the face of a deceitful cult that was destroying lives.  LCG Film : The Whole World Will Be Following Us In World Tomorrow

LCG is now in a power struggle over the succession to Rod Meridith and the game of office politics is raging as contenders and hopefuls compete in a “loyalty to Rod” contest.  In the midst of the Feast a film on Rod’s career was aired. I hear that on the Day of Atonement one elder actually preached that the day was all about obeying those ministers above you.

I will give it a day or two before Prophet Thiel gushes about the important witness about the life of Rod that was put on film, that there is no power struggle, and "yes, members are supposed to obey ministers!"

Spanky Reminds You How To Fast

Atonement begins tonight (October 7) and Spanky Meredith wants to make sure you know how to fast.  So for all of you reprobates out there who have conveniently forgotten how, here is how you do it:

1. Before you fast, prepare your body for the shock. Do not eat a great big meal (certainly not one including a big, sweet dessert), or indulge in a pepper steak or some spicy hot Mexican food just before your fast begins. These make you crave water, and all during your fast this will distract you into thinking, “Oh, no, I’m going to die!” For a profitable spiritual fast, you need a clear but humbled mind. So it is best to taper off on food, especially sweets and strong spices. Drink a lot of water the day before, to help begin to cleanse your system.

2. Take steps to ensure your digestive system is as free of poisons as it can be during your fast, so any headaches and other symptoms of hunger will be as mild as possible. Make sure you take proper care of your individual health needs before you fast, so you can obtain the maximum benefit and feel the fewest possible physical distractions when you fast. You may wish to consult your physician if you have a health condition that fasting can affect.

3. Fast regularly enough for your body to adjust itself to the practice. Some people who think they are “about to die” when they fast could actually find fasting much easier if they did it for a day every month or two, if their health allows.

4. After your fast, begin eating again slowly. Do not swallow a huge steak in the first ten minutes. It will actually do you more good if you eat a smaller, lighter meal, or eat a meal spread out over a couple of hours in stages—maybe beginning with a warm, creamy soup. If your fast has lasted for longer than a day, it may be far better—or even necessary—to end it with something very small, like some stewed prunes or maybe a poached or soft-boiled egg.

LCG has a stealth web site/show up called "Head's Up" that you would not know had any connection to Rod Meredith unless you click "About" and then you would not know unless you click on the "Tomorrow's World" link.  HWA traveled around the world embarrassed to say he was part of a church and it looks like Meredith is carrying on that tradition.

Prophet Thiel: Another Woman Ruling Over an Israelite Nation

Prophet Thiel is disturbed that a woman has been elected as Prime Minister in Denmark.  Of course, The Prophet intermediately has to tie into an Armstrongite prophecy prediction.  Those damn women ruling over the House of Israel yet again! When will the wimpy men stand up and be real HE MEN like Rod Meredith - God's end-time prophet, Elijah and Apostle???????

Helle Thorning-Schmidt

After the elections in Denmark yesterday, Helle Thorning-Schmidt is set to become the first female Prime Minister there:

Denmark’s Social Democratic leader Helle Thorning-Schmidt, 44, is set to become the country’s first female prime minister, after her center-left bloc narrowly won general elections, ending a decade of center-right rule.

Since those of us in groups like the Living Church of God do not vote in these elections, why am I mentioning the election of a woman as prime minister?
Because I believe that it will partially fulfill a prophecy to the children of Israel in Isaiah 3:12:

As for My people, children are their oppressors, And women rule over them. O My people! Those who lead you cause you to err, And destroy the way of your paths…

Of course, women are influential in all the Israelite-descended nations.  And now the highest elected office in Denmark is expected to be held by a woman. 

Back in the old Worldwide Church of God, some speculated that Denmark would leave the EU and not be part of the European Beast power.  I am not particularly sure on that one way or the other, but do consider that it is a possibility (the viper and serpent comments suggest that it is different than others who might unify).  Yet, the fact that the tribe of Dan is the only tribe not listed amongst the 144,000 in Revelation 7:4-8 makes me lean the other way at this instant–yet the fact that Denmark has not yet adopted the Euro (though its currency is directly linked to it) suggests a certain independence on the outskirts of the EU.
Catholic prophecy tends to teach that the Antichrist will come from the tribe of Dan (but it also teaches other possibilities there), but I tend to doubt that the Antichrist will be a Danite.

Is Rod Meredith Ensuring His Children's Inheritance?

No. LCG emphasizes government because that is how Rod Meredith can force his sheeple to accept his sons as his rightful heirs to the throne, passing over so many other more senior men. Of course, this doesn't work for everyone. I have heard that LCG's income dropped sharply after Rod appointed his son Jim as his #2, and that it dropped even more after Rod baptized his son David and gave him a cushy HQ job. Lots of people in LCG are disgusted by Rod's blatant nepotism, and by his growing trail of lies, and there may even be a church split because of it. Rod may end up with a cult smaller than Flurry's, but it will still be a nice inheritance to leave to his children, saving them from having to do another honest day of work as long as they live

The Apostle Says: Tribulation Could Start In Late 2012

Self appointed Apostle and prophecy nut Apostle Malm is spitting out more dates for the start of the tribulation and a potential upheaval in LCGlala Land leadership:

I am not making a set in stone prediction, however in my personal opinion it looks highly likely that the Abomination COULD be set up in Rome in the second half of 2012 [probably in Sep.] calling for a New Europe; and the tribulation to begin 75 days later.

When the abomination is set up, and the New Europe comes together, all the biblical signs are present and peace and safety is declared; UCG and the other major groups  will reject the biblical signs around the peace and safety declaration; probably be saying that no Temple has been built and no Daily Sacrifice started: in a misunderstanding of the stopping of the Daily in the midst of the Week of Dan 9.

LCG: It is possible that LCG will have a new leadership before the end of 2012.  They are likely to cling to the widely held pagan idea; which seem to be unique in LCG compared to the other COGs;  that the full 70^th week of Daniel still needs to be fulfilled.  Therefore when the abomination is set up, many of them will be caught in the tribulation; believing the pagans rather than God’s word; that immediate destruction will come when peace and safety is declared. 

Is It A Sin To Watch American Football?

The COG numbnuts are out in full force today!  Prophet Thiel has this to say about American football:

To harm the other fellow and to gain by doing so for self is a kind of competition that is wrong. Hostility toward the other is sin…

I guess Prophet Thiel conveniently forgets that HWA loved to sit in front of his TV on Friday nights and Saturdays watching WWF Wrestling and old classic Westerns.  I guess body slams, headlocks, shooting cowboys and Indians scalping settlers was great Sabbath entertainment!  But according to The Prophet since these are all fake, it is OK.  However football play involves injuries and injuring an opponent is a sin. Plus, football involves competitiveness which is a major sin.  I see the Lake of Fire smoldering in eager anticipation......

The Prophet goes on to say:

After seeing the injuries that some of my high school football-playing colleagues suffered, I could not reconcile the scriptures with American football.   There are better ways for Christians to learn principles like teamwork from other sports or activities than watching actual violence.

John the Baptist taught, “Do violence to no man” (Luke 3:14, KJV), so what about violent sports?  The New Testament also warns Christians against being violent or approving of those that are (Romans 1:28-32), while history records that early Christians would not watch violent sports (e.g. Theophilus of Antioch. To Autolycus).

Years ago, Dr. Roderick C. Meredith wrote that avoiding bodily harm was an important health law (Seven Laws of Radiant Health).  Since it is best to avoid bodily injury, should Christians encourage others to put themselves in harm’s way?

 Unlike stories of violence in books or movies, American football involves actual violence and often physical injury–including brain damaging ones that are often not obvious for years...

Now how widespread brain damage from playing football is can be debated (and probably will be). But everyone has to know that crashing into other human beings in order to knock them down and/or stop them from running or throwing is not harmless.

While “love does no harm to a neighbor” (Romans 13:9), what do sports like American football and boxing do?

This is something that Christians, and others, should think about.

Spanky Is Not Happy His Message Is Being Ignored By The World

Davy Crockett from LCG has written an article where he is upset that the world is not paying any attention to Spanky Meredith's message through  LCG's broadcasts and literature.  In his view the world is too stupid to see the truth when it is right before their eyes.

He starts off by quoting Winston Churchill, a favorite of Spanky and COG leaders.

Many wonderful quotations are attributed to Sir Winston Churchill, the great British Prime Minister who had such a profound effect on the 20th century. His irrepressible sense of humor, his tenacity in the face of great danger, his oratory and his writing ability set him apart as an influential historical figure. One quote he is noted for is, “Most people stumble over the truth, now and then, but they usually manage to pick themselves up and go on, anyway.”

Crockett goes on to write about all of the millions of ignorant people in the world who ignore Spanky Meredith and his cult's teachings:

It does seem that Churchill was correct in his assessment—as we so often see when people come into contact with the eternal truths found in the Bible. Millions of people see, hear and read the message of Scripture that the Tomorrow’s World telecast, magazine and Web site present to the world, proclaiming the Gospel of the soon-coming Kingdom of God. This is the same message Jesus Christ taught and the Apostles and earliest Christians spread, and we spread it by Christ’s instruction: “‘Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.’ Amen” (Matthew 28:19-20).

Our television program is now seen in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Europe, Australia and New Zealand, and we now are beginning to reach the Chinese people with television from Hong Kong. Yet, only a relative few people actually respond to these matters of spiritual importance. This was true in the first century, and remains true today.

Perhaps it is because you have absolutely nothing that is worthwhile for humanity to hold on to! Ever thought of that?????

But never fear, the COG bogeyman is ever present and is out to stop the TRUTH from being preached by the "one and only true church restored to earth after 1,970 years." Satan is one busy dude!

Not only do most people ignore or reject Christ’s message, the messengers are often met with resistance and even persecution. The Apostle Paul was harassed and finally arrested and imprisoned for carrying out this commission.

LCG ministers and leaders will soon be imprisoned for preaching Spanky's message.  That is actually what Davey is saying here.

Then he ends with this warning:

Even the most wonderful knowledge is of no value unless it is both recognized and acted upon. How about you? As a viewer and reader of Christ’s message, are you “almost persuaded”? Or, will you muster the courage and conviction to join with us in fulfilling the commission given to us by the Messiah just before He ascended to be with the Father?

If you do not allow yourself to "be persuaded" by LCG then you are turning your back upon their "god" and this thing they call  a "jesus."  You destination is the tribulation!

LCG Writes: God Is Not Pleased With Us Becasue We Squabble And Feed Our Selves

In a short blurb on LCG's "Tomorrows World News and Prophecy" they were discussing the sad state of affairs in Somalia and the famine that is killing men, women and children.  More than 29,000 children have died in the last three months alone.  Is LCG and it's members really concerned about them enough to do something? Is there a new LCG on the horizon?

Is LCG going to help alleviate the pain and suffering that parents have when their children die in front of their eyes?  What about the kids who lose their parents? Don't count on it!  LCG has no intention  of doing anything to help those people!  Instead they dish out their worthless religions rhetoric that they (LCG) think is comforting.

LCG, it the grand tradition of thinking of itself as the ONLY ONE TRUE CHURCH has this to say to the starving, the homeless, the poor, the hurting, the strange along side the road:  "Don't worry!  There is something better coming along sometime in the future.  God's going to fix it all for you.  Don't be foolish and morn your children.  They will have another chance sometime in the future.  If we give our money to you then we cannot preach a gospel that the world sorely needs.  It's more important to be on WGN at 3:00 in the morning than it is to ship a few bags of rice to feed you."  "You are not of British Israel stock, (which is apparent because of  your dark skin) and we need to focus our awesome message on white Israelite nations.  You will have your turn in the future after you have died."

What a loving Christian message LCG preaches to it's people and to the world!

But the ironic thing is that LCG continued that article with Bible quotations that they thought were aimed at the world around them.    They said:

However, there is a God who cares, and He instructed the prophet Ezekiel to write concerning the people of Jerusalem, “put a mark on the foreheads of the men who sigh and cry over all the abominations that are done within it” (Ezekiel 9:4)–God notices those who are saddened by atrocities they see around the globe! He is not pleased with people who squabble and “feed themselves,” while other human beings suffer. Jesus Christ also prophesied that one of the signs of the end of the age would be famines in various places that would kill many people (Matthew 24:7, Revelation 6:5-8).

LCG assumes this is an indictment against the those around the world who see the famines, the after effects of the earthquakes, floods, tsunami's, tornadoes, and hurricanes.  LCG assumes this scripture is about squabbling nations, and rich nations who have an abundance of food while others suffer.

What LCG fails to recognize is that this scripture is an indictment against the Living Church of God!  LCG and all the COG's are constantly squabbling and bickering with each other. They condemn and disfellowship each other with ease.  They continue to demand that members send in tithes to keep the Church and it's leaders in their fancy offices, their nice homes that are stocked with every pleasureful thing they can buy, their refrigerators and pantries overflowing with food.  Their riches increase as they turn a blind eye to the suffering around them.  They will not even help the homeless in Charlotte let alone half way around the world!

God  is not pleased with the people of LCG because they squabble and “feed themselves,” while other human beings suffer!
