Apostle Malm: Adulterers Should Be Killed

Here is another great reason for the demise of Armstrongism.  There are still idiots out that that take this as a command.  They will not tear their houses down with mold in them, but will gleefully kill anyone who commits adultery. It's ok not to wear tassels on your garments but is totally appropriate to kill another human being.

Thank God these idiots will NOT be ruling over some world or kingdom in the millennium as they think they will.  It would be better to be condemned to hell than to live in their sick worlds!

Apostle Malm writes:
Adultery is punishable by death: This leads into the punishment for spiritual adultery [loving and obeying first, anyone other than our espoused Husband], which is also death.  Those who exalt any man or organization above our espoused husband; who say that “we can do this because some church says its ok” and do not base their conduct on a passionate love for the scripture and the things of our Husband: Will not be  joined with Christ in marriage to him.  They are showing how little they love him by not diligently studying the scriptures and not passionately obeying him;. By obeying another and exalting that other above their Husband they are committing spiritual adultery and are worthy of death, if they do not repent.
22 If a man be found lying with a woman married to an husband, then they shall both of them die, both the man that lay with the woman, and the woman: so shalt thou put away evil from Israel.
23 If a damsel that is a virgin be betrothed unto an husband, and a man find her in the city, and lie with her; 24 Then ye shall bring them both out unto the gate of that city, and ye shall stone them with stones that they die; the damsel, because she cried not, being in the city; and the man, because he hath humbled his neighbour’s wife: so thou shalt put away evil from among you.

Deu 18:20 But the prophet, which shall presume to speak a word in my name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or that shall speak in the name of other gods, even that prophet shall die.

Well, here we are. Again.

False prophets are to die. Anyone who utters a prophecy in Jesus' Name which does not come to pass is to be killed.

I have a couple of questions, at least.

First, how is the false prophet to be killed. I thought it is supposed to be stoning, but this Scripture just doesn't specify. Is he supposed to be burnt to death -- another long time favorite? Can we drown him? Is it up to us to choose. Of course, if we have a choice, hanging and lethal injection (approved by the FDA as "safe") are modern favorites. Also, they didn't have firearms in those days -- should we have death by firing squad?

The other question is more problematic. Society has these restrictions that are so, so, well, restrictive. They take umbrage at executions which are not state sanctioned and they get mighty testy about it.

Should we all buy our own island somewhere we can take these false prophets so we are unfettered in executing justice? That would certainly seem to be a solution, under the circumstances. And maybe we can televise them so they will go viral on You-Tube (those under 18 might be restricted).

Certainly, false prophetry (if that is a word, and I kind of think it isn't), certainly is more important than a little common adultery. Heck, hardly anyone notices today, unless it is a United States elected official. Other countries seem to laugh at us for our quaint Puritanical views on what constitutes public disgrace. Isn't it the case that what goes on in the Rose Garden should between the two people there and the roses?

So there we have it? How do we solve this problem of false prophets? They are to be killed. They are a priority, yet no one, but no one, seems to give a rip about resolution -- and what's with that?

This is kinda spiffy too.....

Laws of Rape (Deuteronomy 22:28-29 )

"If a man is caught in the act of raping a young woman who is not engaged, he must pay fifty pieces of silver to her father. Then he must marry the young woman because he violated her, and he will never be allowed to divorce her."

What kind of lunatic would make a rape victim marry her attacker?

Answer: Bible God......and Apostle Malm, His chosen serf.

This is cool too...
Rape of Female Captives (Deuteronomy 21:10-14 NAB)

"When you go out to war against your enemies and the LORD, your God, delivers them into your hand, so that you take captives, if you see a comely woman among the captives and become so enamored of her that you wish to have her as wife, you may take her home to your house. But before she may live there, she must shave her head and pare her nails and lay aside her captive's garb. After she has mourned her father and mother for a full month, you may have relations with her, and you shall be her husband and she shall be your wife. However, if later on you lose your liking for her, you shall give her her freedom, if she wishes it; but you shall not sell her or enslave her, since she was married to you under compulsion."

Who would make up such rules? Bible God and the Apostle Malm, His chosen serf.

And who can forget....

Death for Hitting Dad

Whoever strikes his father or mother shall be put to death. (Exodus 21:15 NAB)

Death for Cursing Parents

1) If one curses his father or mother, his lamp will go out at the coming of darkness. (Proverbs 20:20 NAB)

2) All who curse their father or mother must be put to death. They are guilty of a capital offense. (Leviticus 20:9 0

3) Death for Fornication

A priest's daughter who loses her honor by committing fornication and thereby dishonors her father also, shall be burned to death. (Leviticus 21:9 NAB)

4) Death to Followers of Other Religions

Whoever sacrifices to any god, except the Lord alone, shall be doomed. (Exodus 22:19 NAB)

It's all good.....

More "Fun With God's Law!"

Abortion:

Hosea 9:11-16 Hosea prays for God’s intervention. “Ephraim shall bring forth his children to the murderer. Give them, 0 Lord: what wilt thou give? Give them a miscarrying womb and dry breasts. . .Ephraim is smitten, their root is dried up, they shall bear no fruit: yea though they bring forth, yet will I slay even the beloved fruit of their womb.” Clearly Hosea desires that the people of Ephraim can no longer have children. God of course obeys by making all their unborn children miscarry. Is not terminating a pregnancy unnaturally “abortion”?

Numbers 5:11-21 The description of a bizarre, brutal and abusive ritual to be performed on a wife SUSPECTED of adultery. This is considered to be an induced abortion to rid a woman of another man’s child.

Numbers 31:17 (Moses) “Now therefore kill every male among the little ones, and kill every women that hath known man by lying with him.” In other words: women that might be pregnant, which clearly is abortion for the fetus.

Hosea 13:16 God promises to dash to pieces the infants of Samaria and the “their women with child shall be ripped up”. Once again this god kills the unborn, including their pregnant mothers.

2 Kings 15:16 God allows the pregnant women of Tappuah (aka Tiphsah) to be “ripped open”. And the Christians have the audacity to say god is pro-life. How and the hell is it that Christians can read passages where God allows pregnant women to be murdered, yet still claim abortion is wrong?

This is a typical example of what happens when theologians contaminate the New Covenant with picked and chosen portions of the Old Covenant.

One real good reason why we don't kill adulterers today is that Jesus Christ died for all of mankind's sins, past, present, and future. I mean, none of us were even living and sinning during Jesus' human lifespan. One reason why the Armstrongian "place of safety" would be no such thing is that these boobs would probably incorporate stonings into their system of government from the top down because it makes theological sense in the setting of the Old Covenant, which they still embrace.

There is very little one can say about such abyssimal foolishness and total lack of understanding.

but.....what do we think if Jesus is the God of the Old Testamen in new clothes??? Can we trust him not to revert to his old attitudes and ways?

PS,

You have to wonder if Malm has ever read the account in the gospels as to how Jesus dealt with the woman the scribes and pharisees brought to him after catching her in the act.

If it is true that HWA committed the sin of insest with his daughter then acording to O.T. law he should have been stoned?

BB noted: "You have to wonder if Malm has ever read the account in the gospels as to how Jesus dealt with the woman the scribes and pharisees brought to him after catching her in the act."

One also has to wonder if she was caught in the very act, why was the man not a part of this equation? Where was he? Or is this just another case of beat up the woman while the guy goes home?

Jesus never seems to ask about where the guy is either.

The story of Jesus and this woman was added to the account and does not show itself in earlier copies. It is inserted directly in the middle of a huge blowout between Jesus and the Pharisees over the topic of Jesus birth circumstances.

"We weren't born of fornication.
We know our fathers.."

"You are of your father the devil'

This chapter is about Jesus being accused of being the bastard child of a lone woman who committed adultery. Some commentators and theologians feel this story was inserted to break the tension and that it was more about Jesus birth circumstances and Mary's plight than meets the eye.

The conclusion of Jesus was...'leave my mother out of this."

Just like the geneologies of Jesus contain the link to four fallen or four women of questionable reputation sending the message that God can even work through a Rahab, Tamar, Bathsheba or Ruth..a nasty moabite, so Mary could also be a fallen woman God could use to bring about Jesus.

I'm tellin ya, there is more to these stories than you learned in Sunday school!

Sure, it might seem harsh to stone immoral women, but (at least in some cases) the alternative can often be even harsher--for their innocent victims.

In the workplace over the years I have had the opportunity to observe the behavior of many sexually immoral, man-eating women with mouths that never stop lying. Some would divorce and remarry repeatedly because they were impossible to get along with, other sluts eventually ended up alone because nobody could stand them, and others eventually ended up in same-sex relationships. All of the very worst ones were also vicious liars.

At first I tried to just ignore all the commotion, but after a while I couldn't help thinking about the laws in the Bible and about how many people could have been spared much grief if wicked women were dealt with according to God's laws.

Wow! Spoken as a true Armstrongite!

It makes me wonder if Herbie hated the "world's" influence on women so much that he thought that just about the only female he considered truly fuckable was someone he personally raised- HIS OWN DAUGHTER!
