RCG Members Prohibited From Telling Disfellowshipped Members "Good-bye"

The things that occupy Dave's mind is truly amazing.

Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward. Whosoever transgresses, and abides not in the doctrine of Christ, has not God. He that abides in the doctrine of Christ, he has both the Father and the Son…[There’s going to come a point where there’s going to be this separation.]…If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed…[Just go…Pull away. Don’t even say goodbye, because that means “God be with you”—that saying, God speed.]…For he that bids him God speed…[Who even says goodbye—God be with you—that’s what it means.]…is partaker of his evil deeds” (vs. 8-10).
There’s no room there…I mean, you don’t even say goodbye. Just close the door and be done, or you’re a partaker. How interesting.

The logical disconnect in the theology is bizarre.

That God would tell certain humans, whom he supposedly loves, to shun other humans, whom he also supposedly loved so much he was willing to "die" for them, is not a very "godly" thing to command, but it is very human.

Explains why his kids hate him

The Sliver AKA The Restored Church of God will last precisely as long as Dave Pack does. It is doomed to fail as time erodes Dave's credibility in all of his "transcripts". (https://rcg.org/sep/tools) NOTHING in all this rubbish will actually occur. He is not who he thinks he is. His sliver is not the only anything doing the only things his only god only informs him of. No Jesus is really going to waltz into Wadsworth, Ohio and fellowship secretly with Dave and his Clown College and Board of Defectors from reality. He has no heirs to his pretend throne of Apostle and no one is going to want his legacy in the first place.

Had Dave followed his dream of the Naval Academy, he once spoke of but gave up for Christ, he would have been the reincarnation of Captain Bligh of Mutiny on the Bounty fame.

"Vice admiral William Bligh FRS RN (9 September 1754 – 7 December 1817) was an officer of the British Royal Navy and a colonial administrator. The Mutiny on the Bounty occurred during his command of HMS Bounty in 1789; Bligh and his loyal men reached Timor, a journey of 3,618 nautical miles (6,701 km; 4,164 mi), after being set adrift in Bounty's launch by the mutineers.

Fifteen years after the Bounty mutiny, he was appointed Governor of New South Wales in Australia, with orders to clean up the corrupt rum trade of the New South Wales Corps. His actions directed against the trade resulted in the so-called Rum Rebellion, during which Bligh was again placed under arrest and deposed from his command."

Sounds like Dave's career getting moved church to church in WCG, where he could wreak his havoc on yet more good folk. One of the great puzzlements to me in the ministry was why men who cultivated a reputation as "oh dear God, please don't let them send him here" seemed immortal in the ministry.

We may be somewhat entertained by his self serving and self absorbed lunacy in theology but his compound will someday be a drug rehab center or sold to a church that will provide Dave with eternal gyrating in his grave.

We would suppose that God isn't going to say goodbye as Pack plunges into the lake of fire.

It's best to just burn your mistakes and move on....

Yes, wouldn't it be awesome if Dave Pack's campus ended up being one of the Dream Centers, and reality-based good things began to happen there?

As it is now, it's a manifestation that in Dave's world, everything and everyone are simply an extension of Dave.
