I mean it is all working out exactly. The past few months religion got erradicated, at least where I live people do not seem to return to their churches. Yesterday it was on the news that church attendance in my hood today, is on the estimated 2030 level.
I mean I gotta give Monson some credit, he might dwindle, or one of the splinters might under the right "cold war" circumstances just turn into the countermovement, like HWA (fundamentalusm) was in his time (early 19 hundreds) vs creeping "darwinism" and "german rationality" in education and society.
But a puzzle must fit exactly and most cog leaders have changed too much, gone of the road and are not adapted well enough to fill any relevant 21st century role in a countermovement.
HWA the fundamentalist using every modern invention, hope and fear to his (philosophies) advantage. Today there is only fear left.
