God Guides History: Today, critics claim that God does not exist, that no one can predict the future, and human beings must determine their own future. However, the Bible reveals that only God can predict the future and bring it to pass (Isaiah 46:9– 11). Daniel told King Nebuchadnezzar that God removes kings and raises up kings and determines how and when specific events will occur (Daniel 2:21)—and that what God reveals is sure to happen (Daniel 2:45). The Bible is a uniquely inspired book that contains specific prophecies recorded thousands of years ago that predicted events that are making news today. The prophet Amos states that God reveals His intentions to His servants, so they can alert the world about the real significance of coming events (Amos 3:7). All this is possible because God guides the course of history. This is why we need to watch and understand the real meaning of current events—so we can be prepared for what lies ahead.

According to Bob Thiel, God's gift to Christianity, LCG has no idea about prophecy and will be unable to flee at the correct time.
According to Dave Pack, no other COG knows about prophecy.

According to COGWA, UCG has no idea about prophecy.
According to Bob Thiel, he and he alone understands prophecy better than anyone else in the entire 2,000 years of Christianity. The Bible was written specifically for him in this end-time age. So, how can Doug Winnail lead us to believe that LCG has the gift of prophecy when Bob says they don't?

I would say that NONE of the various ACOGs understand prophecy! When the foundation is rotten, EVERYTHING that is built upon it is subject to collapse. There are two foundational problems with the prophetic understanding of all ACOGs: 1) Their totally discredited teachings about the identities of modern Israel and Assyria, and 2) Their failure to accept that Jesus Christ is the fulfillment of the Biblical prophets. And, for anyone with an ounce of common sense, it will be readily apparent that these foundational problems must skew/corrupt their interpretation of current events! Moreover, the obsession/preoccupation of the ACOGs with prophecy (and eschatology in particular) is UNHEALTHY! Christians should be focused on salvation through Jesus Christ and diligently striving to live our lives in such a way that we are prepared to meet our Maker whenever that happens.
BIBLE PROPHECIES ABOUT ALL THESE COG FALSE PROPHETS...
Matthew 7:15- Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
1st John 4:1- Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
Matthew 24:3-5; 24- And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world? 4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. 5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. 24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
The reason there are so many false prophets is because people do not want to hear the truth but want to be captivated by, enchanted and entertained by false iconic leaders. . The culture is one of rejecting absolute moral truth, and personal responsibility.
By the laws of probability, sooner or later one of the ACOG leaders will finally get something right. Just not in our life time!

While the COGs’ pride and joy is their understanding of prophecy, instead of Jesus, it is also their fatal flaw.
Sadly, the message of the cross is foolishness to those perishing COGs 1 Corinthians 1:18.
Last week, Winnail wrote/repeated: “Let’s strive to be teachable so we can avoid problems and gain a reward in the Kingdom of God.”
Instead of teaching Jesus as the greatest treasure, the COGs have brainwashed the people to be seeking rewards other than Jesus.
The sheep desire eternal life, but they long for it as a future occurrence that they hope to qualify for.
They are not interested in knowing Jesus now, as being the start of eternal life, and don't think just being in the presence of Jesus, and knowing him, will be rewarding enough for them in the Kingdom.
John 17:3
Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.
This week, Dangerous Doug Winnail actually wrote/repeated:

Yet, he failed to identify that specific news.
With this post from Doug, I am convinced that his repetitive messages are intended to be brainwashing boosters for the very numb sheep.
Winnail's statement was not true every time HWA said the same during his six decades of ministry and was false every time a disciple of HWA repeated it in the three decades since HWA's death.
Nine decades of preaching that daily news was predicted in the Bible and the poor, numb sheep don’t care how false Winnail’s statement is or how irrelevant it is to their lives.
Every earthquake and famine that’s reported in the news gets the COGs excited, as past predicted events pointing to future events – but, they can’t stir up any enthusiasm for Jesus being available to them today.

What does Amos 3:7 say?
"Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets."
Does Amos 3:7 say anything about alerting the world? Anything about the real significance of coming events?
The entire context of Amos 3 concerns Israel, the children of Israel, the whole family of Israel, and not the rest of the families of this world on earth.
Doug goes on to say: "...This is why we need to watch and understand the real meaning of current events—so we can be prepared for what lies ahead..."
When will Doug understand the real meaning of current events? What events does Doug have in mind? He gave no example(s) to help us be prepared for what lies ahead.
What's the deal?
Is Jesus Christ returning very shortly to reign on earth for 1,000 years? What current events back that up?
