O Come, O Come, Emmanuel

O Come, O Come, Emmanuel

O come, O come, Emmanuel,
And ransom captive Israel,
That mourns in lonely exile here,
Until the Son of God appear.
Rejoice! Rejoice! Emmanuel
Shall come to thee, O Israel.

O come, Thou Rod of Jesse, free
Thine own from Satan's tyranny;
From depths of hell Thy people save,
And give them victory o'er the grave.
Rejoice! Rejoice! Emmanuel
Shall come to thee, O Israel.

O come, Thou Dayspring, from on high,
And cheer us by Thy drawing nigh;
Disperse the gloomy clouds of night,
And death's dark shadows put to flight.
Rejoice! Rejoice! Emmanuel
Shall come to thee, O Israel.

O come, Thou Key of David, come
And open wide our heav'nly home;
Make safe the way that leads on high,
And close the path to misery.
Rejoice! Rejoice! Emmanuel
Shall come to thee, O Israel.

O come, Adonai, Lord of might,
Who to Thy tribes, on Sinai's height,
In ancient times didst give the law
In cloud and majesty and awe.
Rejoice! Rejoice! Emmanuel
Shall come to thee, O Israel.

May many now enthralled by the empty promises of the ACOG's be able to sing this song, and be ransomed from the tyranny of the dead hand of HWA

What, you never heard of Youtube?

This is one Christmas hymn that every COG member should agree with. There is nothing "offensive" about the words of eternal hope Christians have had for Emmanuel to come. Church members have listened to so many morons preaching junk in the pulpit about Christmas that most do not have the ability to make rational decisions about the celebration.

Beautiful! Even so, come, O Emmanuel! Amen!

What's wrong with a little British influence? I enjoy British TV series, and loved British invasion rock music.

Learn to see and appreciate the shades of gray between black and white, and your life will be much fuller. Just because someone enjoys a piece of British culture does not mean that the blog is run by MI6.

Awesome, as Ron Weinland would say.
