In Church of Godland we have been blessed over the last 85+ years with some of the greatest Biblical and intellectual minds ever. No church has had more men filled with more insights and revelations than the Church of God movement has had.
It all started with Herbert Armstrong discovering the truth that had been lost for 1,900 years in a public library in Oregon and continues today with self-appointed professional liars like Dave Pack, Gerald Flurry, and Bob Thiel. The "insights" these bumbling buffoons try and pass off as the truth is astounding. Never has a church had so many miserable failures in its midst pretending that they are doing some mighty end-time work.
Exit and Support Network had this up about Gerald Flurry and his many lies, particularly Flurry's claim he is continuing the insightful legacy of Herbert Armstrong.

GF and his evil so-called “ministers” are extremely adept at using copious psychological methods in their literature and videos to pique people’s interest to pull them in. Words such as: lost, lost secret, God’s secret, key to, key of David, unlocks, what is truth, mystery, important message, miracle, end-time bible prophecy, world events, God’s true church; free booklet, etc., etc.
One of the biggest lies I think I’ve read was in a 2016 article where they said: “Mr. Armstrong possessed insight like no other man of his time because he didn’t speak from his own mind, but from the mind of God—through the truth revealed in the Bible. Before his death in 1986, he accurately prophesied of many world events that were to take place—and they have or are coming to pass today. [Read: Did Herbert Armstrong Set Dates?] … Today, Gerald Flurry continues the same work…” (i. e., the same con game.)
It’s uplifting to hear many have been brave enough to leave this cult. Gerald Flurry’s final day of reckoning is coming and hopefully soon! –R. O.

Are you kidding me? Flurry isn't extremely adept at anything. There is a sucker born every minute, and two to take him. That is the "secret" to his "success."
HWA began presiding over Feasts Of Tabenacles on or after 1934 when Prohibition had been repealed earlier in 1933.
Most adult feastgoers traditionally indulge in a nip or a belt of firewater, John Barleycorn, booze etc.
If HWA would have presided over FOTs during Prohibition, would his "insight" have pressed feastgoers to adhere to austere, gov't.-mandated tee-totalling? Or would his "insight" have opened permission for libertarian clandestine speak-easy gatherings for churchgoers to wet their whistle?
