Moabite women are out seducing LCG young men

The Living Church of God has to almost annually warn its members, particularly young women and men, on modest clothing and acting modestly. This year is no exception. They have two new articles up for both young women and young men.

Young Women and Modesty
Young Men and Modesty

The young men's article is fascinating.

Teenage boys and young men who work out and take their shirts off are immodest.

First, it is also very possible for men to be immodest. Some men can focus so much on working out that it seems they idolize their bodies. While exercise and activity have great benefits for our physical and mental health, some men clearly work out primarily to look good. This is usually revealed in how they act outside the gym. Have you ever known a guy who seems to be looking for every opportunity to take his shirt off, as if he’s Chris Hemsworth? That guy is clearly not just after health benefits. He wants to display his body—a blatantly immodest act. Working out can certainly help men look better, but that does not give us an excuse to be immodest about it.

Then the article IMMEDIATELY makes an abrupt jump on to loose Moabite women out to seduce LCG's men. Apparently, LCG men CANNOT control themselves.

Do you let a woman’s dress determine your thoughts? Yes, young ladies have specific verses in the Bible to follow, and it goes without saying that women who take the Bible seriously will take those verses seriously. But what about those women who do not? What is the likelihood that you will come across women dressed immodestly at the beach, the gym, or even Walmart? Pretty high. And if they are dressed immodestly, does that excuse your thoughts?

Numbers 25 gives us a strong warning, telling of how the women of Moab seduced Israelite men. Both the worldly women and the Israelite men sinned by committing sexual immorality and idolatry—so, both groups were punished. The Israelite men suffered a devastating plague, while Israel later wiped out their seducers (Numbers 31). The Israelite men were not spared because the Moabite women were immodest—they were expected to know better and avoid sin, regardless of how the world around them acted.

The mere fact that these men look at women apparently sends them into immediate adultery:

Galatians 5:22–23 lists “self-control” as one of the fruits of God’s Spirit. Men must learn to control their thoughts (2 Corinthians 10:5) regardless of their circumstances—and we should not think we can hide our own sins behind someone else’s. When Jesus told His followers to not even look at a woman to lust over her (Matthew 5:28), He did not give any kind of loophole based on how she was dressed. If you lust after a woman, you are committing adultery. Whatever she is wearing does not excuse you.

Quoting these verses sure never seems to stop some in LCG's ministry from committing adultery, but that's another topic for another time.

LCG men are warned about those crafty seductive Moabite women trolling them:

For young men in God’s Church today, there are “Moabite women” aplenty. And pornography is a horrendous sin that can easily become addictive for those who choose to go after these modern “Moabite women.” Our society encourages young women to sexualize themselves and dress immodestly. Even in God’s Church, we must often revisit the concept of modesty, as society puts so many pressures on young women. But you, young men, are under just as many sinful pressures to think of young women as sexual objects rather than as sisters in Christ. From these pressures, the Bible exhorts you to flee (1 Corinthians 6:18).

LCG men need to stop looking at LCG women as hookers and temptresses. Women in the LCG are there to SERVE them but only if they dress modestly. It is not the men's fault they can't control their animal instincts. LCG  women need to tone it down a lot! After all, it's always the women in the COG that are the cause of men going astray.

Your sisters in Christ can serve you, young men, by dressing modestly—but you can serve them by controlling your thoughts, words, and actions toward them. Do you treat them like sisters in Christ or like Moabite women? Do you dare sin by asking them for sexual pictures? Who would ask their sisters for such things? If you have committed this sin, you need to seek forgiveness from God and from the women you have wronged.

LCG men need to immediately go to the women they objectified and repent of thinking of them as Moabite seductresses. Bad women! I sinned because of YOU!

LCG men need to be constantly on the lookout for loose women so that they do not develop a debased mindset.

So, young men, do not think that modesty is only for the ladies to worry about. You, too, must avoid becoming vain about your appearance. And you must not shrug off your need to grow in self-control by blaming women for your lack of character. Even when a man meets an immodest woman, he has no excuse for developing a debased mindset. Let us look instead to the instructions and examples within Scripture, which allow us to have fulfilling relationships with all women as their brothers in Christ.

Why is it that Church of God leaders and ministers think so little of their members that they need to constantly keep telling them they are debased, seductive, and willing sinners? When will members ever be given credit for doing anything right?

Living Church of God had better not let their men hit the pubs in London on a Friday or Saturday night. They will be sent to the Lake of Fire immediately considering how women dress down there!

More articles on how to be a man would help. LCG has enough manlets running around hiding behind clumsy pseudo intellectual nonsense and passive aggressiveness. Also if they are going to preach about sexual sins, maybe they could work on the adultery and pedophilia in their ranks they pretend isn’t there!

Galatians 5:22–23 lists “self-control” as one of the fruits of God’s Spirit.

Here is something to consider: Maybe LCG, living in the Old Covenant as they do, have never really received Jesus (of the New Covenant) as their Lord and Savior.

Therefore, they do not have the Holy Spirit and therefore can not have the fruits of God's Spirit.

Please think about that and investigate that possibility. Life is so much better as a follower of Jesus Christ !

They need something to write about I suppose. By always being critical people are lead into a state of anxiety and this suits these leaders.

''LCG women need to tone it down a lot! After all, it's always the women in the COG that are the cause of men going astray'' No idea what is intended by these words. One reading is that the men blame the women? It's most unclear. Brings to mind the Islamic University I read about where girls were treated as sexual objects because they wore jeans and men used this as an excuse to target them for rapes.

''Your sisters in Christ can serve you, young men, by dressing modestly'' - back to Herbies good old days when dresses didn't go above the knees, no make up, and approved hair? But this did not lead to a better morality in that weird church.

Are any of the LCG teen boys listening to Eminem or Fi'tty ¢ent & letting their hammer pants & cargo pants sag to show the plumber's crack too, while they pump iron in front of the floozies đź‘–

They gonna spear em like Phineas?

Living University's first female graduate got pregnant before marriage. What hope do LCG boys have when their own church is recruiting Moabite women?

Upon repentance and baptism, a person receives the Holy Spirit which is defined elsewhere as the life, mind, and power of Jesus Christ.

The ACOGs rob their members of most of their natural rights, so they harp on lesser issues like dress in order to feel righteous. It's typical Pharisaic behavior.
Rights is such a taboo topic that the majority of members can't even define the word.

Oh me! I'm a 70 year old man that never wears a shirt when working outside. It's been that way my whole life. I never realized I was showing off.

The fact that God made mankind sans clothing tells us there is nothing shameful about the body. Man is the one that perverts everything. I find it interesting that "modesty" means covering the genitals. Everything else can be exposed with no problem. The problem is man's fallen nature.

And you can prove that?

The ministers flaunt their power, and like all Pharisees, exalt themselves above their members. But how dare the little people flaunt anything they have. The little people must stay put in their box and not challenge the numerous perks of the big people ministers.

Its only trivia, but the actual story being referred to is a bit odd because after the Moabite women do their thing, somehow a plague happens and now Midianite women are the villains. It's a little odd, like the editor went to bed after the Moabite story and then grabbed the wrong scroll to copy the next morning before the morning coffee or something.

Oh the young people in the LCG don't ever have to worry about the Moabite women, because the COG members are mainly in America and Britain ("Israel"). I don't know where the "moabite women" ended up migrating to these thousands of years. I'm sure the living youth have nothing to worry about since they are here in Israel. See how that works.

At least LCG is being two-sided in its warnings - not "piling on" females.

As a prospective male member of WCG, I was convicted to stop being topless in public after hearing about a campaign by women to be topless at major league baseball games.

(I think it was the Chicago Cubs - in the era when Harry Caray sometimes was topless!)

Clothing is cultural. In some parts of the world it's perfectly acceptable for men and women to be bare chested. In other parts of the world women must wear a tent with a peephole in it to see where they are going. It's all what we are used to.

That women and guys are not to flaunt or favorably display their bodies is a manifestation of the anti-self-love doctrine of contemporary Christianity. Which is why they also condemn birthdays. It's harder to control people who have a good opinion of themselves.
Btw, self love is commanded in the "love your neighbor as yourself" instruction.

Strange how those who run this blog and constantly inform the world that Sabbath keeping holy day observant people are not Christian, don't know Jesus Christ as THEY do ......insult and mock.... brand Christians as 'Armstrongites'...but them use such photographs as above. Hypocrites who feast at the Feasts. Tares.

Tellin' ya, guys! Creatine before your weight training routine boosts strength and muscle tissue. Ladies will be able to see your muscles in a polo shirt, or T-shirt, so if you are modest, there's no need to be taking off your shirt! But, for those of the ACOG persuasion, you may want to check with your minister to be sure this type of supplement is ACOG-approved! Be a shame to be marked and disfellowshipped for having great muscles. Oh, and if he tells you you shouldn't be taking up your prayer and Bible study time by indulging in weight training, you can actually read your Bible in between sets!

During the times when The Church was founded people generally owned one or two garments. They wore what they had to services each Sabbath. The idea of "dress clothes" was unheard of.
As countries became more prosperous the concept of work clothes/dress clothes evolved.
Then came "night club attire" which has devolved into the scanty dress of today's youth when they go out.

There is a lot more to it but it's fascinating to study the history of clothing and trends as they come and go.

We don't know Jesus as they do. We know the Real Jesus, and follow His example. They will get to know Him too, one day.

The photo above that this blog used is simply another general scene in the scope of life these days.

To me it looks like a good way to show certain hypocrisy of LCG. It's almost certain that some LCG males do indeed occasionally dress publicly in a way that ends up somewhat affecting & attracting the oposite sex gender.

Ever since skirt length in the 1930s began slightly hiking up past the knees, it was only inevitable that it would go as high as here in the photo. Those who run this blog commonly see such new skirt "height" out in public as often as they see the fellas lettin' them pants saggin' too low now.

Grabbing this photo of the 2 cuties for the blog has no more shame than any of us have if we don't speak up and ask a guy we see letting his underwear & bum crack show near us in the store checkout line : "sir, will you please pull up them stupid pants while my granddaughter is here in line with us?"

The 2 girls in this photo really aren't much worse than an LCG guy showing his 6 pack abs or biceps in front of any opposite sex.

Neither are those who run this blog as they endeavour to fact-check old WCG boo-boos, current LCG goof-ups, and any other current COG possible hypocrisy.

I attended a COG feast site post 2010 where I personally saw the top pastor's wife public in front of other brethren & wearing a bathing outfit showing the same hiked buttocks view also shown by the 2 girls in this blog pic above.

(& hey Bob, quit calling people "talebearers" just because they "see something & want to say something" like the time you "saw something" from Rod & Rich which led you to begin posting to also "say something" on endless mountains of blogs that blab it off to this day) Remember 9/11 when they said "if you see something, say something"? Why is one COG witness a talebearer, but another isn't?

Isn't regular vigorous fasting supposed to prevent beer bellies and man chee chees?

On second thought, that does not appear to have worked for HWA!

Jesus Christ as THEY do ......insult and mock.... brand Christians as 'Armstrongites'

A rather odd thing to be complaining of as the wcg and each of its offshoots for decades have been going out of their way to criticize other churches for being observers of pagan days and deceived false believers. Given what is known of Armstrong im not surprised there's some criticism. (By the way the Armstrong allegations of pagan days is false propaganda, but they have been so influenced by his teachings the claim I've just made is never tested).

They just want to keep "lower members" in a box, as what was said in an earlier post. Meanwhile they don't call out the indiscretions of the ministers.

1 Peter 5:3 not lording it over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock.

They like the pharisees, love to lord it over you. They set the worst examples.

I’m not a fan of LCG or any of the hardcore ACOGs. I don’t think they are Christian organizations.

But the excerpts quoted here seem completely reasonable, and should be heeded.

Sexual immorality is a problem everyone has faced — every person reading this. It is something to be overcome and avoided, because it’s a grave sin that (unrepented of) can keep us from the resurrection to everlasting life.

Dressing modestly is one way to help our fellow man and woman to avoid the near occasion of sin. Those who fall to the sin of lust are responsible for their sin, but so are those who dress without regard to others’ weaknesses.

Jesus taught plainly, without excusing those who fall to temptation: “For it is necessary that temptations come, but woe to the one by whom the temptation comes!” (Matthew 18:7).
