When I am not stroking the Great Bwana Bob Mzungu Thiel's massive over-inflated ego, I am heavily involved with the Tournament of Roses New Year's Celebration, the Rose Parade, and the Rose Bowl.
Today, we hosted over 650 parents of the Ohio and Oregon football teams. It was a giant pep rally of sorts, with the coaches and athletic directors speaking to the parents, thanking them for raising such honorable young men.
While he is still stuck in the 1960s version of Armstrongism that he so desperately seeks to create. it is so freeing not to have to adhere to all of that blithering and useless nonsense anymore. As much as Armstrongism sought to suck the beauty and pleasure out of daily life, the world still has beauty and amazing experiences in it that spiritually degenerate men like Thiel, Pack, and Flurry can never take away.
Happy New Year!

This is so cool that you do this!
Thanks for sharing! Love the old 1930's pickup. It's nice to have a massive involvement with community as you do, Gary. My entry into relationships with others is through the machines that I sell and service, the machines that are used to produce products which earns them their money and feeds their families.
Several times each year, we're involved in trade shows with our customers and competitors, and it brings a good constructive feeling, reminding us that we're all part of a community, something bigger than ourselves alone.
The thing about that is that it reminds us that although we all have diverse personal interests, we have much in common, all
contributing, and there's really no need to look down on others because they might enjoy hobbies and activities different from our own, dress or style their hair differently from our own personal tastes, enjoy music we may not like, or vote differently.
Bob Thiel is so compressed by all the things he does not like or thinks are wrong, almost like a baseball that gets batted around. People who are open and tolerant are like the air when a baseball is swung. They may become mildly displaced, but recover quickly. It'd be so much better for them if they realized that the human mind is like a parachute. It only works when it's open!

All cults are kill joys. They don't want their members experiencing pleasure since it points away from them existing only for the same of some "work" or someone's utopian vision.
Thank you for your hard work and dedication to helping to bring joy and beauty to millions of people every year at this time, and thank you for hosting this forum to help folks escape and recover from Armstrongism. May God bless you and your efforts in the year ahead.
Football is evil. So violent! All the injuries!
I thought Herbie got the church involved in the whole Rose Bowl thing. Anyway, it happened under his watch, so he must have approved of it. Who is doing it now? GCI?
Happy new year Gary. Your flowers are beautiful as they are every year. Also a shout out to my friend Byker Bob. Bob keep those presses running.
Jim from Arizona
Back in the day, people in the field churches used to watch the Tournament of Roses parade hoping to catch glimpses of (ta dah!) Ambassador College!.
Hey Jim, good to hear from ya! Best wishes for a happy, healthy and prosperous New Year!

So true, as I was one who use to watch the Rose Bowl parade just to get glimpses of Ambassador College. Richard
