The Wedding Of The Century! King Gerald Flurry Is Getting Married!

King Gerald Flurry is getting married! Woo hoo!

Will Lil'Stevie marry daddy The King like GTA married Herbert? Will we then see a divorce 2 years later and a huge lawsuit in the works? After all, King Gerald has to imitate HWA as much as possible.

With the announcement soon to be given to fleeing to Petra, it is amazing to see King Gerald occupied with such worldly things!

Just imagine how much fun their honeymoon will be as they hop on King Gerald's private jet and fly to their honeymoon destination where the teachings of Herbert Armstrong's seminal work, The Missing Dimension in Sex will be put to such joyous use!

PCG NEWS

October 30, 2020

The pastor general

On Wednesday, Pastor General Gerald Flurry recorded a new Key of David program titled “China’s Biggest Scandal Against the U.S” offering Russia and China in ProphecyHe Was Right and “The Rise and Fall of a Superpower.” At the end of Sabbath services last week, Evangelist Wayne Turgeon made a special announcement on Mr. Flurry’s behalf (see below). After services Mr. Flurry hosted a celebratory reception for the congregation in the balcony of Armstrong Auditorium. Today, Mr. Flurry approved the announcing of several ministerial relocations: Mr. and Mrs. Brian Davis will move from headquarters to the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area, a more central location for serving as Northeast regional director. Mr. and Mrs. Victor Vejil will move from Ohio to northern New Jersey. Mr. and Mrs. Greg Nice will move from New Jersey to the Phoenix, Arizona, area. Mr. and Mrs. Roger Brandon have moved from Phoenix back to headquarters to assist Western Regional Director Cal Culpepper with Oklahoma congregations outside of headquarters and to manage the food services department. Mr. and Mrs. John Krueger will switch from Food Services to assisting headquarters Pastor Fred Dattolo with the large headquarters congregation. Mr. Flurry hopes these moves will be made before or just after the ministerial conference at the end of December. Chief operations officer Andrew Locher said, “Your prayers for their smooth transition are not only appreciated, but quite necessary. This is a difficult time of year to move, and with COVID complications in the industry, they have a tough fight ahead of them.”

Special announcement

Dear brethren: I have been meeting with Vicki Barreiro for one year. It all started with ministerial counseling. We both developed feelings for each other in that process. We have been dating exclusively for the last four months. We plan to marry in a private wedding with only our immediate families on November 16.

King Gerald Flurry Melts Down After PCG Members Refuse To Swallow His "New Throne" Malarkay

It is always fun to watch various COG leaders go into meltdown mode when their teachings are questioned by members.  In their mind, when their god reveals something to them then the membership needs to swallow it as absolute truth. 99.99% of the time these revelations are figments of severely disturbed minds instead of God speaking.

For a couple years now, ever since Flurry went to Oregon and dug up the dirty old rock that Herbert is supposed to have knelt at to pray, he has been on a quest to legitimize the absurd idolatry of the rock that has taken place since then. From originally being placed in a garden so people could sit and meditate in front of it, it is now displayed in a glass case so that the devoted can gaze upon it in awe and wonder knowing that the sacred butt of the so-called "christ" they follow will come and sit upon it. The absurdities of the myths that Armstrongite leaders dream up is beyond measure

Flurry has written a new article (Psalm 89: Jeremiah Speaks to the PCGfor his grumbling and questioning members who are refusing to swallow his lie. He has to keep his few remaining members under control and living in fear so that his money keeps coming in. Pretty much how ALL the COG's operate these days.

Like all good COG leaders, Flurry has to claim that certain scriptures are written for a specific church in the end times. According to Flurry, Psalm 89 was written by Jeremiah SPECIFICALLY for the Philadelphia Church of God. Of course, he cherry-picks one Psalm in particular to support the worship fo the rock he has elevated to status of sacred.

I believe the Prophet Jeremiah authored Psalms 89 and 119. The Worldwide Church of God taught this for many years under Herbert W. Armstrong, and I agree. These psalms are also written in poetry, which Jeremiah was skilled at doing (perhaps with Baruch’s help), especially considering the poetic book of Lamentations.

God commissioned Jeremiah to save David’s throne from Israel and reestablish it in Ireland, so Jeremiah had a passion to understand David and how and why he was a man after God’s own heart. He wrote in the spirit of David as a means of becoming more of a man after God’s heart. One lesson these psalms teach is that we must be people after God’s own heart.

The author of Psalm 89 learned a lesson from psalms like Psalm 22, which David wrote. The author of Psalm 119 patterned it after Psalm 19, which David wrote. If Jeremiah wrote these chapters, then the connection of his thinking to building David’s throne is clearer.

The message from God in these psalms is especially for the Philadelphia Church of God. God’s Church now has David’s throne. God has made us responsible for building up that throne, a great responsibility—greater than we tend to realize! God is educating us so we know how to build it up.

As usual, it is a COG responsibility to help usher in some kind of "kingdom" they think their god is in the process of using them to prepare.

Jeremiah was speaking of what he would do, and now God is speaking: “I have made a covenant with my chosen, I have sworn unto David my servant, Thy seed will I establish for ever, and build up thy throne to all generations” (verses 3-4). God promised to build up David’s throne to all generations!

God keeps His promises, which means He has been building up that throne in our lifetimes, in these last two eras of the Church! Herbert W. Armstrong restored all things (Matthew 17:10-11) and laid the foundation for our understanding of this truth. And this last era is especially unique because we have David’s throne—the throne of God! (This is fully explained in my book The New Throne of David. Request a free copy.) God is going to build up that throne in this last era because it is now within His Church. He has fulfilled that promise and is building up that throne within the pcg today.

According to Flurry, his members and the COG membership as a whole do NOT understand this amazing thing. Even Bob Thiel, who knows everything about everything, cannot comprehend this great news! Of course in Flurry's eyes, his group is specifically set apart to be the select group to usher in this creature "christ" he claims that will sit upon his rock. Yet, many of his follower's are not on the sacred rock bandwagon

What is our part in this? We have specific responsibilities that Mr. Armstrong did not have. God’s ministers and Church members must build up His throne! God is concerned about how we execute this royal duty. He is focusing us on the Second Coming of Jesus Christ, who will rule from this very throne!

Genesis 49 is a prophecy of what would happen “in the last days” (verse 1). In verse 10 God states, “The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be.” The scepter and the lawgiver would descend from Judah, David’s tribe—even “in the last days,” right up “until Shiloh come,” until Jesus Christ returns! And this is a specific prophecy that those two roles—the scepter (civil government) and the lawgiver—would be combined into a single office. In the past, the scepter and the law were separate—one individual holding the scepter on David’s throne in a civil government and another teaching God’s law in His true Church. But now they are combined in the Philadelphia Church of God.

You cannot combine these responsibilities and build up the throne of David without putting in some work. We must have a level of understanding to be able to tie these two entities together. Now everything is ruled by the royal law of God until Shiloh comes. That law rules the very throne of David! It is stunning to think on what God has given us and the kind of example He expects us to be.

Did you know that 95% of the COG refuses to follow this nonsense! It is Flurry's duty to draw us all back into the true chruch. We are not joining his work or giving him money.

The sun and moon give light, and so does this godly promise! The world lies in darkness; it doesn’t see this light. Nevertheless the truth about this throne is real—it is a bright lamp God gives His Church! God’s people must shine that light both to the world and to the 95 percent of God’s people who have grown lukewarm and turned away from God. Their failure shows how difficult this job is.

God expects a lot from His people. He certainly required a lot of Jeremiah. This prophet was persecuted, thrust into a dungeon neck-deep in mud, and left for dead. Surely his nerves were stretched to the breaking point!

When PCG members and others dare to question Flurry's dedication to this holy rock and the teaching it will be the thone his creature "jesus" returns to they are directly attacking the royal line of David, which essentially means that you are attacking Gerald Flurry, since he is of that "royal line."

Now, in Psalm 89, comes one of the strangest turns anywhere in the Bible. After those many powerful statements about God’s promise to David, this follows: “But thou hast cast off and abhorred, thou hast been wroth with thine anointed. Thou hast made void the covenant of thy servant[David]: thou hast profaned his crown by casting it to the ground. Thou hast broken down all his hedges; thou hast brought his strong holds to ruin. All that pass by the way spoil him: he is a reproach to his neighbours. Thou hast set up the right hand of his adversaries; thou hast made all his enemies to rejoice. Thou hast also turned the edge of his sword, and hast not made him to stand in the battle. Thou hast made his glory to cease, and cast his throne down to the ground. The days of his youth hast thou shortened: thou hast covered him with shame. … Lord, where are thy former lovingkindnesses, which thou swarest unto David in thy truth?” (verses 38-45, 49).

These are strong words! I do believe they are Jeremiah’s. Maybe Jeremiah is one of the few who would talk to God this way because he had such a close relationship with Him. Yes, this psalm concludes, “Blessed be the Lord for evermore. Amen, and Amen” (verse 52). But does that mean everything was OK?

The attack on David’s royal line deeply dismayed Jeremiah. Clearly he thought God had broken His promise!

PCG members do not trust Flurry in this matter and that has irritated him. PCG members MUST trust him in ALL matters. To do so is to "cast the crown" to the ground denying his "christ."

You MUST trust Flurry, unconditionally! To not trust him means you do not support the great commission.

God is saying to Jeremiah and to all of us who have God’s throne in this Church now, You must totally trust me—or you cannot fulfill this commission!

It sounds easy to totally trust God and “live … by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God” (Matthew 4:4). But it is tough to actually do it—not 99 percent, but 100 percent! This is what God expects from people who are working with David’s throne!

You know Jeremiah had faith—but at this point, he did not totally trust God. He had to grow to where he absolutely knew God would fulfill His word, regardless of appearances to the contrary.

Even having a 1% distrust factor means you are totally removed from God's sight. 100% trust and loyalty to Gerald Flurry is required. Only then will you be a true "son of Zadok".

Trusting God 99 percent or less is really a deadly spiritual disease! God’s people must remove this disease. God’s message is, Don’t challenge me. Don’t accuse me of losing my lovingkindness! Just know 100 percent that if I say it, it will be done!

Only those who totally trust God are “sons of Zadok,” named after the priest who remained loyal to David’s throne to the end. That means totally trusting every single word of God, including the scepter promise and the covenant with David.

How dare PCG members "murmur" against Flurry! To do so is to go against church government which has set Flurry up as the one true leader in this end times.

What do you do if there is murmuring against God’s leader? Somehow you have to convince them they are wrong, or they are going to be put in the outer court. Here, God performed a wonderful miracle: “and, behold, the rod of Aaron for the house of Levi was budded, and brought forth buds, and bloomed blossoms, and yielded almonds” (verse 8). This was so spectacular, even the carnal Israelites could not deny God’s presence!

The principle is, compare the rods and see where God is working. None of them will miraculously bud and produce fruit except for the one God is using.

Revelation 10:11 contains our commission to “prophesy again.” Revelation 11:1 says God’s leader is given “a reed like unto a rod,” a symbol of authority to do the Work. In the end time, God’s people were divided and confused, and 95 percent of them turned away from God, and they are murmuring, and they are in the outer court, and they don’t understand what God is doing—a tremendous failure! They need to prove who has the rod that is blossoming, budding and bearing fruit!

Murmer's will DIE! 50% of the COG will die FOREVER because they have rejected Flurry!

In Moses’s day, God warned that those who didn’t stop murmuring and rebelling would die (Numbers 17:10). That is what God says to us spiritually. At some point you must stop the murmuring and rebelling, or you’re going to die! That is the opposite of the total trust God is building in His people. This is about eternal life and eternal death. Amos 8:14 speaks of people who “shall fall, and never rise up again.” Fifty percent of God’s people who turn away from Him are going to die forever!

If you are a loyal COG member and stop murmuring then you too can be there when Flurry hands over the sacred rock so his creature "christ" can sit its royal behind upon it. Only the true follows of Flurry will be heirs of this magnificent time!

Some of God’s people will soon present that throne to Jesus Christ at His Second Coming! How can someone do that if he doesn’t really understand these things? We must believe what God is doing! We are sons of Zadok, and we are going to share the throne with Jesus Christ. So God expects the very highest standard. To fulfill that role, we must have demonstrated total trust in God!

Flurry warns then all the unfaithful PCG members who dare to question him. Every word he speaks and every single word his ministers speak is specifically from the god of the PCG! That word can NEVER be questioned!

No matter how hard the trial gets or how fierce it is, just look in the Bible. See what God says. And when the temptation to question or challenge God arises, refrain! Don’t even go there! That is total trust in God.

God’s ministers have the responsibility to teach God’s Word—not what they would like it to say or what they think it should say, but exactly what God tells them to say! That is total trust!

Flurry ends with justifying the deluded visions his mind has made up. His god has revealed the truth about the sacred rock and his creature "christ" returning to it. That can never be questioned!

When I heard a voice announcing the new throne of David, it was absolutely like no experience I have ever had. But hearing it made me realize all the more that God is right here! He is not in some far-off place. The angels, too, are all around wherever God’s people are. That experience helped me see this even more deeply.

God wants to build in us total trust! If you are a loving father, you will not forsake your child. Yet God and His love exceed that commitment by many miles! God is perfect! Jesus Christ is perfect! Even amid the agony of torture and crucifixion, He totally trusted God.

I am a descendant of David, and God has given me the title of a king. I probably want to use this office even less than I should because I don’t feel worthy to be anything for God. Nevertheless, it means a certain responsibility for me and for all of us. We have a duty to raise and build up David’s throne.

In the back of Flurry's mind, there is a bit of logic that tells him that he is crazy as hell, but he is so blinded by his own narcissism that he cannot see it and ultimately sees the rejections as persecution.

Many prophecies warn that God’s Church will receive real pressure in the future. Enemies will castigate our people in unmerciful ways. They will probably say people who hear a voice belong in insane asylums, and it is crazy to follow someone to a place of safety who says he is a king. They will compare us to cults like Jim Jones, which committed mass suicide. That will be hard to take! It will take strong courage to resist that. And that will only come from knowing and totally trusting this revelation.

100% loyal is demanded!

God doesn’t want one speck of distrust! We are human, and we all sin. We are not perfect like Christ and the Father. But we are striving to be like them as much as we possibly can. We are striving to totally trust our Father! That is the primary lesson we need to learn from Psalm 89.

If Jeremiah can have a breakdown of his faith, so can all of us. He had a breakdown, but I think he quickly recognized it. And remember, he was one of the great men of the Bible.

If we are to do great things for God, we have to believe God! We have to trust God totally! If we do that, then no matter the opposition and obstacles, we will do a great work for Him!

That false trust in the god of Flurryism really means one thing. You cannot trust Flurry's god unless you trust HIM (Furry) 100%.

100% obedience of the true leader is required for salvation to happen. That is the mantra for EVERY single COG leader from Flurry down to Thiel.

PCG Takes Delight In "Torturing" Church Teens At Summer Camp

As we come to the end of 2020 I would think that we should never be appalled at the disgusting things COG ministers say, but then along comes Brad McDonald of the Philadelphia Church of God cult.

McDonald has an article up on the latest Trumpet on PCG's website about the youth summer program it runs in Edmond Oklahoma each summer. If you have ever been in the midwest and especially in Oklahoma in July and August it is not a pleasant place to be at times due to the heat and humidity. McDonald loves that kind of weather so that church teens can become "utterly exhausted, physically."

This past July, 120 teenagers descended on the campus that houses the Philadelphia Trumpet offices in Edmond, Oklahoma, and participated in our 17th annual youth camp here. This camp, sponsored by the Philadelphia Church of God, is designed to ensure these young people go home mentally charged and focused, their attitudes and spirits refreshed and renewed.

They also tend to arrive home utterly exhaustedphysically.

For three weeks, these teens spent their days mountain biking, canoeing and practicing archery, as well as playing basketball, water polo, soccer, softball, volleyball and flag football. They walked, and often jogged, between activities, as well as to breakfast, lunch and dinner. In the evenings they often engaged in other taxing activities, including a track and field event and camp dances. And if all that activity wasn’t strenuous enough, much of it occurred in daytime temperatures that hovered in the mid 90s.

Then McDonald goes on to claim the god of the Philadelphia Church of God takes pleasure in this suffering and finds this "...three-week display of physical strength and endurance was glorious and honorable!"

For some, just reading that paragraph is enough to make us sweat. Personally, as much as I love sports and the outdoors, the thought of spending six to seven hours a day out in the sizzling Oklahoma weather—chasing balls, paddling across lakes and biking through ravines—isn’t nearly as appealing as it once was. But to the teens who attended camp, God says this three-week display of physical strength and endurance was glorious and honorable!

You can read His admiration in Proverbs 20:29: “The glory of young men is their strength.”

Of course, it’s true that physical health, strength and vitality in any person is praiseworthy. Isn’t it interesting though, that God identifies explicitly physical strength and energyas a defining and glorious quality of youth? In God’s mind, being a physically fit and healthy teenager—a young man (or woman) with strength and agility, someone who is robust and energetic—is a splendid and honorable accomplishment.

It’s also a state of being that God wants all teenagers to experience!

This is why, beyond merely seeking to make camp fun, we have our teens engage in so much physically demanding activity. Together with the high-quality meals and snacks we feed them, the slew of sports and outdoor activities serve to improve the overall physical health and strength of the teens. It works, too. In virtually every case, teens depart camp stronger, fitter and healthier than when they arrived. Beyond the short-term goal of improved health, one of the longer-term goals of our youth camps is to encourage the teens to embrace healthy and active living as a way of life—a lifestyle.

Once embraced, this lifestyle will help them develop a state of physical health, strength and vibrancy that God says will be to their glory and honor!

There is absolutely nothing wrong in training young adults in healthy ways that will lead to healthy adult lives. But, given the track record of abuse that PCG dishes out on members, this is NOT something to be bragging about when how kids are being abused by its leaders.

As parents, the responsibility is on us to cultivate within our teens the desire to be physically healthy and strong, to be active and energetic—to be motivated to make their strength a trait worthy of glory and admiration! Read the full article here: Wanted: Healthy, Vibrant Teens!

The abuse that PCG dishes out is not confined to the physical activity in the heat of Oklahoma. but then moves inside to the classroom where spiritual torture is poured out upon the impressionable minds of these youth.

In Balance

Of course, these efforts to cultivate strong, healthy teens must be balanced. They must be complemented with similarly strenuous mental and spiritual exercises. This is why, in addition to all the physically demanding activities at our youth camps, teens take Bible classes, and classes on leadership and womanhood. It’s why we teach them public speaking and ballroom dance. It’s the reason we have them perform on stage and encourage them to play music and embrace art. And it’s why, particularly in this technology-ridden age of perpetual distractions, we encourage our teens to develop a love for reading, study and meditation.

As the 120 teens that came to camp returned home, it was our hope that amid their meditations about camp they think about the strenuous activity they engaged in over those three weeks. Not how difficult or hot it was, or how much they sweated, or how sore they were. But on the wonderful opportunity they had to develop and display physical strengthand vitality—traits God admires as the glory of youth.

Exit and Support Network has this up in relation to the same article:

August 23, 2020

Brad Macdonald wrote a propaganda article about Philadelphia Youth Camp (“Wanted: Healthy, Vibrant Teens!” July 7,2020 ).  He wrote about the “wonderful” experience PCG teens (age 13-19) will have if they attend. In it he not only went through what teens will experience (endure) at camp for 3 weeks but he put the blame on parents if they don’t turn out the kind of teens he described.

They start the day with a “15-minute calisthenics warmup before breakfast.” During the day their time will be “filled” with sports instruction on every sport imaginable.

It was alarming when he said: [bolding mine]

“In the evenings they often engage in other taxing activities, including sports games, a track and field event and camp dances. And if all that activity isn’t strenuous enough, much of it will occur in daytime temperatures that hover in the mid-90s. … spending six to seven hours a day out in the sizzling Oklahoma weather—chasing balls, paddling across lakes and climbing ropes…”

Yet he says this is “glorious and honorable” to God and quotes Prov. 20:29.

How many teens will end up suffering from heat exhaustion, or injuries?

Next he goes on a rant about “strong, healthy teenagers have become a dying breed” and they “display embarrassingly little strength and vitality!”

After he says the majority of teens today have poor physical health and display “embarrassingly little strength and vitality,” he puts the blame square on the shoulders of the parents for the condition of their teen: too much chicken nuggets and french fries; the Internet, video games, lazing on the couch. The parents are “the ones failing to cultivate within our teens the desire to live a healthy and active lifestyle.”

To keep everything “in balance” Macdonald adds “similarly strenuous mental and spiritual exercises” one of which is “Bible classes” (which are sure to be reading GF’s literature) and listening to haranguing sermons.

The reality of this camp and the horrific parts are going to be left out. PYC is patterned after SEP (WCG’s summer camp) and if one remembers what it was like attending that, they have only a hint of what PYC will be like. [Note: My Horrible Experiences at S.E.P. comes close.]

This article was draining to say the least. –[name withheld]

King Gerald Flurry has replaced the Royal Family

Look again at the time frame of events related to the change in the throne.
In November 1996, the PCG began plans to print Mystery of the Ages. That same month—on November 15—the stone of Scone was transferred to Scotland. Mystery of the Ages was on the rise, and that stone of destiny was faltering—and it is no longer the stone of destiny today.
About 10 months later, on August 31, 1997, Princess Diana was killed in a car crash.
Did the royal family of David’s throne lose some of its protection from God? I don’t know for certain, but it is interesting that it happened within a year of England surrendering the stone. God does give special protection to those who have the throne of David. He also punishes them for their sins more acutely than He would others.
When God gave the revelation about the new stone on January 16, 2017, the royal family of Britain was displaced as the royal family of David’s throne. That was a signal of terrible things to come upon Britain, as well as a sharp decline of America and Judah. It was also an indication that we would see a rapid decline in Britain’s royal family.
Look at what began happening to Britain’s royal family almost immediately after this change.
The Queen was 91 years old at the time and obviously near the end of her reign. Her husband announced in May 2017 that he would step down from his royal duties later in the year. In its June 30, 2017, issue, Newsweek published a feature article about Prince Harry, in which he said that when his grandmother dies, nobody wants to assume the throne. “Is there anyone of the royal family who wants to be king or queen? I don’t think so, but we will carry out our duties at the right time,” he said.
Well—God is relieving them of that responsibility!
The royal family of Britain is no longer royal in God’s eyes, and I don’t think they are very royal in anybody’s eyes. They are the ex-royal family of David’s throne—the very throne that Christ is about to rule from forever!
This is a universe-shaking event! Surely the angels have been shaken by this. And it is a very moving and stirring event to God the Father and Jesus Christ. This is reality—not a reality show, but reality!
The Philadelphia Church of God is now the royal family of God’s throne! That is something to ponder!

PCG: Gerald Flurry will soon be sitting on a throne passing out judgment and hastening righteousness

The Philadelphia Church of God recently sent a new booklet out to their members called, The New Throne of David by Gerald Flurry. This book is now more important that Mystery of the Ages and Malachi's Message, the foundational books of the PCG.  This book was so important and significant that the loyal PCG volunteers came into help send out the booklet to the faithful.

Never has the Church of God received such an important revelation from God as this.

Every year before the anniversary of  Herbert Armstrong's death, PCG members seem to fast.  In November of 2017, Flurry called a fast to urge his god into making the PCG grow as a church.  It was on January 14th of 2018, that Flurry's god entered into his mind and revealed all kinds of new things.

Gerald Flurry writes:
In November 2016, I called a Church-wide fast for the growth of God’s Work to be held on Sunday, January 15, 2017. Those who had to work on that day fasted instead on January 14, the Sabbath day.
I have said before that I have never received a vision from God outside of the Bible, and I still say that. But on January 14, I did have some interesting words come to mind about several scriptures. It has happened before that words come into my mind and lead me to a scripture. But this time, I heard a strong voice. That had never happened to me before. This voice said,
“There is a new stone of destiny and a new throne of David.”

The stone of destiny is the stone over which British monarchs are crowned. It is also known as the stone of Scone, or Jacob’s pillar stone (read its origin in Genesis 28:10-22). We have written a lot over the years about the importance of the British monarchy and how it is actually a continuation of the royal dynasty of biblical King David. God promised to preserve his line forever (2 Samuel 7:12-16). The Bible shows that Jesus Christ will take over that governance Himself at His Second Coming! The stone has always been connected with the throne, so it is very important, biblically and historically. The stone is a symbol of David’s throne. It is also a symbol of our Rock—Jesus Christ—who is about to rule on that throne forever! You can read all about this in my book The Key of David.

God has shifted the symbol of David’s throne and that royal line to a new stone, and there are scriptures to prove it.
Flurry then recap's his version of the church under Herbert Armstrong. The glory days never seems so rosy as they do coming through the pen of Flurry, until his bitterness shines through when he tells us he and John Amos were fired and disfellowshipped on December 7, 1989.

Flurry then goes on to write how he had to take a pilgrimage to the holy sites that HWA occupied, visited or touched.

...Umapine, Oregon. Mr. Armstrong wrote about Umapine in his autobiography. In this town, he and a minister from the Sardis era of God’s Church held evangelistic meetings. The meetings were a failure. But then that minister hastily left to tend to some business elsewhere. Only then, when Mr. Armstrong was left alone, did his efforts begin to produce fruit!
The Autobiography describes the building where the meetings were held, so I traveled to Umapine to see if I could find it. It is quite a small town—you can drive through it in about a minute and a half. I found the only building that could have been used for Mr. Armstrong’s meetings.
It was very inspiring for me to visit that place, which resonated with the fascinating history of God’s end-time apostle.
Apparently, Herbert Armstrong was such a holy and important man that the PCG set out to find every single place HWA mentioned in his autobiography.  COG members love to mock Christians for their supposed devotion to "holy" sites that Jesus and the apostles supposedly had used, but this is exactly the same!
I mentioned this experience to David Todd, a man I had known in the wcg and who became a minister in the Philadelphia Church of God (pcg). “That kind of sparked my interest to investigate,” Mr. Todd later told the Philadelphia News.“I always wanted to see some of the sites Mr. Armstrong spoke of. I thought it would be inspiring.”
In August 1998, Mr. Todd moved to the eastern part of central Oregon, and he took the opportunity to begin searching for the sites described in the Autobiography. He enlisted the help of some local Church members, and they began looking for every site they possibly could. In every case—sometimes only after intensive investigation—they succeeded.
Philadelphia Church of God members regularly make pilgrimages to these sites every year around Feast of Tabernacles time, much to the chagrin of local residents who occupy the homes and buildings.
Their discoveries led to the development of a substantial and fascinating tour through Mr. Armstrong’s history in that area, covering the early beginnings of the Philadelphia era of God’s Church. We have members still giving these tours.
One of the more important things in HWA's autobiography, at least according to the PCG, was the rock that HWA supposedly prayed at in the woods of Oregan. Because it was on private land, that presented a problem for the PCG faithful.
It was 1933, and Mr. Armstrong was holding a series of Bible lectures at the Firbutte school in Eugene, near the Fisher farm where he was staying. “To the rear of the Fisher farm home was a fair-sized hill. Running over this hilltop for exercise I discovered a rock about 14 inches high,” he wrote. “It was in a secluded spot. It came to mind how Jesus had dismissed the multitudes, and gone up into a mountain ‘apart’ to pray—alone with God. I dropped to my knees before this rock, which seemed just the right height to kneel before, and began praying earnestly for the success of the meetings. It became sort of a daily pilgrimage, during my stay at the Fishers’, to this, which became my ‘prayer rock.’ I’m sure that I drank in much energy, spiritual strength and inspiration at that prayer rock.”
After gaining permission, Flurry and his devotee's traipsed through the woods till they found a rock that fit HWA's description. It was the most mind-boggling thing they had ever seen! "Inspiring" was a word that hardly described it. They were on holy ground!  There was only one other stone on the face of the earth that Armstrongites stood in awe of, and that was the Stone of Scone, now located in Scotland.

Mr. Todd found the former Fisher farm. He walked over the whole area and examined it closely, and there was only one rock that could have been Mr. Armstrong’s prayer rock. Remarkably, its dimensions were precisely as Mr. Armstrong had described.

In April 2002, Mr. Todd took me on a tour of the sites of Mr. Armstrong’s early days in the Work. When I saw the prayer rock, I said it was “the most inspiring rock I’ve ever seen, second only after the stone of Scone.”

But trouble was afoot! It seems another COG group was looking to take the rock.  Imagine that! PCG quickly sprung into action. Plans to film it flew out the door and all attempts were made to negotiate in taking the rock into their possession.
We thought that the rock was something we ought to have. We were going to hold off getting it until we could do a little filming there. But Mr. Todd said that someone else was trying to get it.
Can you imagine the conversations the landowner had with his family and friends about all of these crazy Armstrongites traipsing through his land to stare at a dirty old rock!

Flurry quickly opened up his tithe filled wallet and offered to buy the rock from the landowner.  Flurry's god had other plans and planted a seed in the man's head telling him to give the PCG the rock.
So we hurried along. We offered to purchase the rock, but the man who owned the property gave it to us free of charge, and he was happy to do so. We brought it to our headquarters campus in Edmond, Oklahoma, and put it on display.
Flurry's god has been sooooooooo impressed by PCG's devotion to HWA that it made sure that they got the rock as "tangible proof" that the work of HWA started at this rock.  It was the greatest work in human history.  Even Jesus, Dave Pack, and Bob Thiel pale in comparison.
God wanted us to have this rock. The Bible has many examples of God using stones for special purposes (e.g. Genesis 28:10-22; 31:45-52; Joshua 4:1-9; 8:30-32; 24:26-27). A stone is tangible. Here we have something that I think is supremely precious to God and the Philadelphia Church of God! I believe God gave it to us because we honor Mr. Armstrong and believe in what he did. It is meaningful to us because it is a tangible symbol of the infinitesimal beginning of the Work of God in our day—the greatest Work ever on Earth in terms of the impact and the number of people reached! Mr. Armstrong reached millions of people with God’s truth, and it started at this rock. For this reason, the prayer rock holds great significance to God’s people. It also seemed so unusual that Mr. Armstrong had accurately recorded such precise details about it, and that we were able to find it. Surely God had something important in mind.
Flurry's god had something important in mind.  Bigger and better things were ahead.  Flurry's god was not happy that the British government relinquished the Stone of Scone, which had formally been in the coronation chair in Westminster Abbey in London, to Scotland. The day they did that, Flurry's god took his blessing off the stone and place it on another rock.
Mr. Armstrong’s prayer rock has replaced the “stone of destiny.”
The date on which I came to recognize this is signifi- cant. It was yet another example of God making something momentous happen on or near January 16, the anniversary of Mr. Armstrong’s death in 1986. God is continually reminding us that we are continuing the work of Elijah. We have proved that Mr. Armstrong was the end-time type of the original Elijah
We must follow Mr. Armstrong’s example. The understanding that God has given me about this stone underlines this point emphatically!
Just as Flurry's god took the mantle of the true church from the Tkach dynasty, it took the significance of the Stone of Scone and placed it upon HWA's rock.  Jesus Christ now loves this rock and is looking forward to the day he can come back and sit on it. Just imagine the warrior Jesus Christ coming to sit on HWA's dirty old rock after he slaughters most of humanity.
This new revelation about the prayer rock will have far-reaching consequences. It is a major step toward establishing the rule of God on Earth!

How?
Jesus Christ is about to return, and when He does, He will take His place on the throne of David (Isaiah 9:7; Luke 1:31-33). On that throne, He will rule and bring salvation to all humanity! We are living in the final phase of David’s throne just before Christ returns.
Apparently, since HWA was a direct descendant of David
After he realized how incredibly stupid it was to think that Scotland would give him the Stone of Scone to take to Petra, Flurry had to have another trick up his sleeve. One of the reasons Flurry bought his new multi-million dollar jet, was so he could fly HWA's rock to Petra and prepare the new throne for Jesus Christ to sit on.
The stone of destiny is really the symbol of David’s throne—not the chair that sits in Westminster Abbey. ... God said there would never lack a man to sit on that throne—and here He says the throne will be established in a temporary, Tribulation setting, with God’s loyal people dwelling in a rocky fortress!
Notice what Flurry says above,  "...there would never lack a man to sit on that throne..." so just who is that man? Is it Jesus Christ, a "god" or a human physical man? I will give you just ONE guess as to who that man is... That man is also a king.
Isaiah’s prophecy says the individual sitting on the throne at that time will be “seeking judgment, and hasting righteousness.” I wrote how this implies it will be occupied not by a member of Britain’s royal family, but by a Spirit-led member of God’s Church. I then pointed to the prophecy in Micah 2:13 referring to the leader of God’s Church as “their king.” “It shouldn’t be too upsetting to think of God calling a man in the Church a ‘king,’” I wrote. “After the 31⁄2-year period of the Tribulation, every converted member in God’s Church will be a king and a priest forever!” (ibid).
King Gerald will soon be sitting upon that throne passing out judgment and hastening righteousness.

What Church of God member, Christian or fellow human being would EVER want to have Gerald Flurry passing out judgment upon them? There is not one single COG leader in ANY of the splinter groups that has that capability now or will ever have in the future.  That is a fact.
