PCG On How Ministers And Members Should Revere Their Church Headquarters

The silly idolatry of the Philadelphia Church of God extends further than HWA Auditorium and his dirty old prayer rock.  It now extends in revering the headquarters of the PCG, especially when Jesus Christ has called a conference to take place.

4) It develops even more of a headquarters mentality.

In Ezekiel: The End-Time Prophet, Mr. Flurry wrote: “Think for a moment of the flip side of this picture: The Laodiceans turned away as if this was a casual religion or a game. How could God possibly use those people at headquarters? ‘So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth’(Revelation 3:16). God is sickened by their treachery!
When a minister or member of the PCG starts losing their focus upon Edmond as the seat of the Almighty GOD then they are dooming their souls to the lake of fire!   Not focusing upon Edmond is the most DANGEROUS thing a PCG can do.  Really?

Ministers and members in far-flung areas must keep their headquarters focus. Losing that focus is their biggest danger. Christ leads His Church, which is His prerogative as the Head of the Church.
PCG members must be constantly reminded that from Edmond the mill stone wielding law abusers can lay down the law.  Families can a be destroyed, marriages ruined and children kicked out of homes all because HQ says to.   They are under government and that is the most important thing that PCG holds as vital to ones salvation.  They cannot talk about Jesus but can preach sermons, write books and articles and make films about government.

“Can we clearly see how having a headquarters mentality today leads right into being part of the headquarters temple in the World Tomorrow? Everyone on Earth will be looking to the place Christ is ruling from. This vision goes beyond Jerusalem in the Millennium—it goes out to new Jerusalem, out into the universe and on and on forever! It all revolves around the First Commandment. All people must first look to God—which means having no other gods and no other government! We can’t experiment with another government. Once we understand this basic truth, God can do so much with us.”

A strong headquarters focus is vital.
Jesus be damned, government be glorified.

"God is sickened by their treachery."

It always amazes me when humans speak of an omnipotent being, God, and then project their ideas onto that being.

It's a fear tactic, nothing more, and quite silly, to boot.

The liar flurry pretends to follow armstrong but has made more changes than any other church. what prophecy has he not changed?

"God is sickened by their treachery."

Oh, so it's treason not to worship the right man now? Nice. Count me out.

"Can we clearly see how having a headquarters mentality today leads right into being part of the headquarters temple in the World Tomorrow?"

Nope.

World WHAT? I can't believe they still call it that. Oh, wait, I guess that's exactly what I should expect!

Their article has now become private. The PCG government is putting their brand new Apple computers to good use. I think they must refresh this blog page more than anyone else.

So now we have PROOF that PCG monitors this blog! ROTFLMAO! They got caught with their pants down enforcing a LAW that God does not require. Their cult brainwashing got exposed and they swiftly had a knee jerk reaction. What they did exposes them as secretive and even more cultish.

I know because my brother is in the cult and is being groomed by Flurry and Leap. He has turned his back on his family in order to please his masters.

"Ooook-lahoma, where the wind comes sweepin' down the plain . . . ."

And what did that wind take with it?

1. Truth
2. Freedom
3. Humility
4. Compassion

What else belongs on this list?

I wouldn't be surprised if even UCG members view their HQ as Gods HQ on earth. That is the nature of Armstrongism.

Well, it wasn't just a casual religion, or a game. It was a pack of lies which they attributed to God, and then used to manipulate and to hurt people. You don't so much become a member of these splinters as you do their codependent. It's the false prophets and teachers who are destined for the Lake of Fire, not the people who had the common sense to reject their lies. And, for the umpteen millionth time, there is no such thing as a Laodicean! Get a clue!!!

My parents are devotees of the UCG cult and they do look at everything coming from Cincinnati as if god spoke it. UCG has ripped our family apart just like Flurry and Pack are doing. I find everything about them to be disgusting.

Acts 7:48 “However, the Most High does not live in houses made by human hands. As the prophet says:

49“ ‘Heaven is my throne,
and the earth is my footstool.
What kind of house will you build for me?
says the Lord.
Or where will my resting place be?
50Has not my hand made all these things?’l

If a tornado destroys the campus, it won't be covered by insurance because it's classified as an act of God.

That would also apply if there were a stoning to death of false prophets there by falling meteors.

Where is the headquarters of Gods church today? If God exists his headquarters is in your own mind. You are completely free to come to your own conclusions as to whether God exists or if there is some other spiritual element to life. You are free from any man made authority spiritually. No need to bow down before men or to finance expensive building projects by giving large amounts of your hard earned income to them.

Be free. Discover your own spiritualty.

Well, I wrote a sermonette but after looking it over I decided it was no use, so I erased it.

And it must be stated when PCG ministers talk of "God's government" or "government" they actually mean "one-man rule".

Gerald Flurry says as much in his booklets Isaiah's End Time Vision and From the Beginning.

I quote these words to show that "God's government" in PCG is just a pretty euphemism for "one-man rule".

"Revelation 11:1-2 discuss an inner court and an outer court. That prophecy was fulfilled quickly after John Amos and I were fired from the WCG. The inner court is where God dwells. God established His Church. And where He dwells, you will find one-man government, an exciting work and dedicated people. These people will have new revelation from Isaiah and all the other major and minor prophets. It will be given through Eliakim." (Isaiah's End Time Vision, p. 52.)

"How could God’s people talk about the evils of one-man rule? That is out of the mind of the devil!" (Isaiah's End Time Vision, p. 58.)

"When God reveals a lot of new truth to a man, He must also give that man His government to proclaim that truth. The Laodiceans’ rebellion revolves around government—they refuse to submit to God’s one-man rule!" (Isaiah's End Time Vision, p. 75.)

"The Laodiceans talk about the “evils of one-man rule,” and there are such evils. But they never talk about the righteous blessings of one-man rule, which we received under Mr. Armstrong.

"“The evils of one-man rule” is usually a negative statement inspired by the devil. He rules this world (2 Corinthians 4:4). His downfall revolved around rejecting God’s government. That is why this world is so hostile to government—especially God’s government.

"We must learn to love God’s government, or we have no future!" (Isaiah's End Time Vision, p. 75.)

"Lucifer was given God’s government, but then refused to administer it. Now he is working feverishly to get God’s people to follow him—as one third of the angels did. He is the author of statements like “the evils of one-man rule.” And God’s Laodicean Church has bought his philosophy." (From the Beginning, p. 54.)

Perfectly said Connie, If a few thousand COG members understood what you wrote, a lot of suffering would be eliminated.

According to Scripture, Satan got one-third of the angels to follow him.

Flurry can't even get one-third of the WCG remnant to follow him.

You all should be proud! You stirred up a shut feast at PCG HQ when you broke this story.. This is a major embarrassment to them. They swiftly made this posting for members only. Thanks for exposing their hypocrisy.
