Where's Jesus in the improperly named "continuing" Church of God?
Below is the latest list of non-salvation topics that Almost arrested, but not arrested Bob Thiel has posted on his site. Not one single mention of Jesus, but loads of irrelevant topics about nonessential things that have no relevance to one's salvation or relationship with God.
Why is it that almost all of the self-appointed men who lead the various splinter groups are so ashamed of Jesus?

If you are going to criticize Bitter Bob, and he IS so easy to criticize, please at least read your own post before putting it up. You wrote:

Jesus FAQ and ‘Gay Pride Month’
Yes, there was indeed ONE SINGLE mention of Jesus. One. To make matters worse, the Almost-Arrested Elijah doesn't praise Jesus or teach Jesus or honor Jesus. Bwana Bob prefers to FAQ Jesus.
Like all the Churches of God splits and splinters, they must maintain a flow of special knowing mostly about the future which of course is unknowable in reality. Biblical concepts such as "the simplicity that is in Christ" or "for my yoke is easy and my burden is light" escape them completely and would never bring new converts to them along with their resources and support.
Church of God religion does make their congregants essentially better people than other faith based organizations. It makes them worse actually as they pride themselves in not participating in community outside of themselves or their "let's pretend we know more than anyone else about God" perspectives. Members of these mind closing cults following their leaders basically sit in church and live waiting around for Jesus to come "soon". They will die waiting.
Bob Thiel takes himself and his layman views on religion and his knowing the mind of the gods way too seriously. Others? Not so much.
But yes, as with all the splits and splinters, HWA included, Gospel Jesus was and is missing in action and presumed dead.
The Bob Thiel social club. That's all it is.
A cult of personality.

Bob Thiel takes himself ... way too seriously.
Yes, to borrow from Dilbert, his salvation to noise ratio is very low.
Gospel Jesus tends to left in the Masonic Lodge or school gym till next year when he is brought out for a special appearance at Passover and then is immediately left behind once again.
Thiel Proclaims..."Mathematicians conclude that the Universe had a beginning!"
Aaaah... isn't that a wee bit "self evident"??
The title of Bob's latest post, The Paulicians of Pergamos, reminds me of the names of some Star Trek TOS episodes...
