Could Be, May Be, Coulda, Woulda, Shoulda: The Consistent Failure By COG Prophets To Prophesy

As coronavirus, locusts and panic gripe the world, Church of God prophets are in meltdown mode right now. They have an endless stream of  MIGHT BE,  COULD BE, WILL IT BE, DOES IT LEAD UP TO..., and other useless speculations.  They always have an easy out when their stupidity never comes true. They then think when they are mocked that they have an easy out by claiming they never specifically said something would happen.

Case in point:
The novel coronavirus of Wuhan, China fame, is now called COVID-19. It has also been called the ‘Coronapocalypse.’ Does COVID-19 have any prophetic ramifications? What did Jesus teach about pestilences and sorrows in the Olivet prophecy in Matthew 24? Could COVID-19 be the ride of the fourth horseman of the Apocalypse? Why was this type of disease expected according to the Old Testament prophecies in Deuteronomy and Leviticus? What has the US Centers for Disease Control warned about? What has the CDC reported about the flu? Were there lessons about fear and infections in the 2011 movie ‘Contagion’? Because of COVID-19, the World Health Organization (WHO), nation of Iran, and certain French locations are telling people not to use cash, but instead electronic forms of payment. The US Federal Reserve is now quarantining money repatriated from Asia to reduce the potential spread of the coronavirus on US currency bills. Is COVID-19 worse than we have been told or could this all be a ‘false flag’ event to encourage people to move towards a cashless society? If the thousands of deaths associated with COVID-19 are pushing parts of the world towards cashlessness, how much more likely will the ride of the fourth horseman and over a billion human deaths motivate people to move to making electronic payments that can be monitored? The Bible tells of a soon coming society that controls buying and selling to force allegiance to a coming European Beast power, known as 666 (Revelation 13:16-18). Does the ‘great tribulation’ begin before ride of the fourth horseman or with the opening of the fifth seal of Revelation 6? Do the words of Jesus helps us better understand the sequence of the four horsemen of the Apocalypse and the start of the Great Tribulation? Will the ride of the fourth horseman help lead to the rise of 666? Is that ride very close? Dr. Thiel addresses these issues and more.
Has this man ever told the truth since he started lying about his double blessing and dreams? Can he ever be trusted?

It would have required a real prophet to know about this virus and to warn in advance because it was hidden, masked by the normal winter flu season. Healthcare professionals initially thought that they were seeing especially severe cases of this year's influenza bug until a pattern of radical departure manifested itself. Now, we are learning of people from all around the globe being exposed months ago, and continuing to mix and expose others.

Some of the techniques being recommended today are what was found to be effective back in 1918. St. Louis implimented shutdowns of all mass gatherings, and new infections and the death toll leveled out. Philadelphia did not, and the whole thing spiked. Many more deaths in Philly than in St. Louis from the Spanish Flu.

I'm sure others, like Mr. Thiel are going to formulate their theories about where this is leading, and what could ultimately happen. Covid19 is kicking ass on Europe right now, as if the EU needed more economic disruption. Obviously, this is another one of those sets of circumstances in which people draw parallels, attempt to apply their Armstrongism and end up once again getting everything wrong. Doesn't mean that we're not in for some turbulence in the near future, it just means that the past track record makes it ludicrous to look to
Armstrongism or its teachers for any answers. They are worse than clueless.

Bob's going to miss his real life and keep others missing theirs if he doesn't get his head out of the clouds and Bible prophecy pretending to know the unknowable future.

Thiel's website is mostly made up of other peoples blogs and websites. His speculation is off the charts.

Someone need to remove the question mark key from his keyboard.

Angie was just one day ahead of getting home from Amsterdam where she had been for two weeks changing her Italian itinerary and then finally Germany and Slovenia, before maybe getting stuck there. She had planned this trek through Europe for six months so it was a disappointed but I was very glad to see her get off the plane the day before it seemed The Moron was saying that there would be no air travel back and forth to Europe for 30 days beginning tomorrow night!

It's amazing, Dennis, seeing how those close to us, and others around us are affected by the unfolding events. People on the street seem to be caught up in trying to help one another in the present. I get a lot of my products from an international company, some from China, and many from Japan. Although I'm not regularly in person to person contact with the international travellers from the home office, I know that they all have stories that are beginning to unfold.

Yesterday, if one were not venturing forth into stores and supermarkets, one would not have known that there were anything different going on. It was a beautiful day, weather-wise. At a traffic light on a freeway frontage road, a guy yelled out, "Hey, man, what year is your car?" I yelled back "1957!" He said, That's what I thought! You just don't see those any more in person and up close! Mind if I take a picture?" I told him to feel free, and he got out of his car, snapped a couple pix on his iPhone, and thanked me. Then the light changed, and we went off in our own directions. The old girl was running great. I had filled the tank and treated the gasoline with stabilizer just in case of gas shortages and emergencies.

In the stores, I was touched by the comments of some everyday people. At the drugstore where I was replenishing my first aid supplies, a woman in front of me was looking for some of the shortage items. As she rounded the corner, and saw the empty shelves where the bottled water was normally found, she shook her head and said to me, "Oh no! It's just as crazy here as everywhere else!" At the supermarket, I exchanged greetings with one of the department managers. He was exhausted, having been working long back-breaking hours, doing frequent restocking. There was a big difference in the appearance of the store from the way it looked on Thursday night. What amazed me was that the dried food shelves were still full of mangoes, pineapple, and bananas with expiration dates ranging from August to October. Same with Trail Mix. In the pasta aisle, a little old senior citizen lady was dismayed by the prices of the few bottles of spaghetti sauce which were left. That one, I really beat up on myself for not doing something about. In the car, I was thinking, "Dayamm, Bob! You should have bought her some groceries!"

I am certain that the coming weeks are going to be stressful in many ways. I worry about some aging relatives who are octagenarians, and two ex-wives who somehow both have chronic lung disease. One had been a smoker most her life, the other a physical fitness enthusiast. Some of them may not make it. Health officials are now telling us that the virus has spread so quickly because you can infect others even when you don't have the symptoms yourself.

I wonder how much of the very real human toll makes it into the consciousness of these wannabe prophets. Are they filled with compassion for their fellow humans, or just elated because they think their beliefs are finally going to be vindicated? If they are all narcissists as has been speculated, what we see unfolding around us is simply feeding their ego. Years of programming have taught them to steel their emotions against the suffering of outsiders, and without their realizing it, that steeling process has also affected their compassion and attitudes towards their own people, because once you turn your natural emotions off towards the majority, they are pretty much turned off for all fellow humans. Sad when you think about it, that that can happen in the minds of people who self-identify as Christians.

And in the meantime, ministers in the RCG are sending the brethren links to ‘uplifting’ YouTube video’s, turning the corona virus - and the worries that a lot of the RCG members have about it - into one big joke ...

This link was sent today by a RCG minister:
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=IuUa01jEfyw

I must admit, the video is funny. But not what the ‘little RCG flock’ wants to hear from their ministers. And why doesn’t David ‘The Wolf’ Pack speak any comforting words to the members? Where is he? In self isolation maybe, making sure HE doesn’t get the virus?
