The Dilemma Of A Self-Appointed Prophet

Prophets in the Church of God do not know when to keep their mouths shut. For many years Bob Thiel has been bad-mouthing Living Church of God leaders, but needs them at times to justify his imagined prophethood status:

He identified his religious superiors as outright liars and unable to discern the truth, but these same men were somehow able to correctly and truthfully discern him as being a prophet. So the modern day COG prophets source their information and facts from liars and Laodiceans, or in Dave Pack's instance - the Devil himself, and then pronounce and establish concrete truth? I am having a hard time understanding these modern day prophets.

Bob and other ACOG leaders are usurping the direct relationship that all Christians have with God. There are no gate keepers between man and God. Christs death did away with the veil between God and man. Bob knows this but plays stupid, blindly following Herb instead.
It's interesting that Kenneth Copeland guest speakers shun this lie of omission by teaching the truth.

Bob follows the lead of HWA, who discredited CG7 but used Andrew Dugger's "You are surely right" remark to give credence to his borrowed theory of BI.

Yes, I enjoy, too much, making fun of my LCG friends - it's payback for their snarky criticism of "so-called Christians".

I know one LCG minion who used to be a GOG Writer fanatic.
Almost every day, he would bore me with something from the COG Writer.

It was a happy day for me when Bob promoted himself to prophet and declared LCG to be fake church.
In the divorce, the LCG minion chose LCG over the COG Writer and Bob became a heretic.

However, when this guy was still following the COG Writer, one day, he was gushing about how Bob wrote something about "It's all about government" - which is a truth that the "so-called Christians" knew nothing about.

Of course, I had to counter that it's all about Jesus, not government, and cited:
John 14:6
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life.

That's the kind of prophet Bob is; the kind that preached "It's all about government" until the LCG government would not endorse his prophethood - so he ditched that uncooperative government to start his own.

Interesting comments 5:29. We learn more every day as to why Bob is such a charlatan. Thanks to this blog, the Painful Truth, and numerous stories on Facebook about his I think this is the main reason no one from LCG, and 99% of the members till left in various COG's joined up with him. Keep the heat on this guy!

5:29....I think you hit the nail on the head with Bob's hypocrisy. In my years dealing with him in LCG he went out of his way to be seen next to all high-ranking ministers and especially Mr Meredith. This was vitally important to him in establishing what he thought was his credibility. What he was doing with everyday members was alienating them against him. He had to have been one of the most disliked men in LCG when I was around, and this was while he was still an active LCG member.

Once Thiel then went rogue and start bashing Mr. Meredith and others for refusing to follow his directives, he was quick to bash them as being blinded to the truth (his opinions) and for being lax Laodiceans. Then we got to watch as he used the very same men he condemned to try and legitimize himself in the eyes of LCG members. No one bought into his lies and hypocrisy and that's why LCG members never went with him and actually speak out against him. He acts like an angry little boy who was sent to his room and he is lashing out.

12:25 Just to clarify what you wrote. Jesus Christ is the mediator between God and man. He is the Great High Priest of Israel. So although the curtain in the temple was torn it didn’t mean there was no go between God and man anymore as there is and He is Jesus Christ. No other physical or spiritual being fulfils that mediatory role.
