Greetings Everyone.
As many of you know, Mr. Weston shut down the LYC Camp in Athens Friday out of an abundance of caution because some campers and staff had contracted the Covid Virus. Mr. Weston directed the campers and staff to not attend Church Services this Sabbath and next because of this. Therefore I ask that those of you who attended the LYC Camp to not attend services in Dallas, Big Sandy or Temple this Sabbath and next.

Interesting.. Sheldon's camp which was held in the same facility as LCG's camp, this year, seemingly avoided this Covid-19 outbreak. Weird. Just an observation.
UPDATE ON CAMP:
All in camp has been exposed to COVID-19 and are returning home and will be quarantined for 14 days. Please continue in your prayers for all concerned. Our God is great!

COGWA also had a few COVID-19 cases at its early summer camps in June. The church announced there would be a "change in protocol" - whatever that means.
Yet on "InAccord" this week, President Franks said the idea of a second summer with no youth camps was "unthinkable."

God is not protecting any of them from Covid 19 I know UCG members who have got it and have heard of some at LCG and other splinter groups as well, so obviously God is not protecting them through this.

Well done to the LCG camp directors for sending everyone home. The has been already shockingly young deaths from Covid 19 from across the ACOG over the last 18 months. The deaths are kept low key. The Church orgznisations never mention the deaths.
Far too many ACOG Pastors & members take a devil may care approach. It's dangerous and flies in the face of the warnings Jesus Christ gave about perilous times and the basic quarantine rules of Leviticus.
COGWA members have died from Covid 19.
We ain't seen nuthin' yet! Just wait till they all gather for the Feast this year...My advice is to stay at home and listen to online messages live or dead. At least if you don't like what you hear, you can turn it off!
Unfortunately covid is real. The media and big tech have lied and tried to cover up its origin in the Wuhan lab but it is here to stay. One has to weigh the risks but for most people it probably is the best option to get either the Pfizer or moderna vaccine. I wonder what will happen to the PCG when they have an outbreak since Flurry forbids medical treatment. I heard it said "That False Prophet" even bans sodas. What a phoney.
I feel sorry for and have prayed for these kids.
Their lives suck too much under the harsh and dangerous LCG leadership.
They have missed out on too many things in life and now will miss a bit of comradery with the very few others their age that can commiserate with their plight.
I hope that while they are convalescing, they happen to turn on the television and are exposed to the true Gospel.

How old were they? When people die, they typically have several medical conditions. With the politicalisation of COVID, doctors have been pressured to attribute COVID as the cause of many deaths, even though another medical cause is more plausible.
Your friends most likely died from old age.
Sometimes many of those commenting here are just as big a fool as COG people who need help from "ministers"(middle men) to tell them what to do, say, and believe, because they can't think for themselves. Do they read the bible? Only when they have a propaganda, proof-text magazine from their one true "church" in front of them. They wouldn't dare read the bible without it, and they certainly won't read a magazine from a FALSE COG "church". ALL people believe what others program into them.
eh, it's a virus, it gets around....healthy people (especially the young) have little to fear from it...the vaccine seems to be more dangerous than the virus now.

Evidently not as great as He could have been
I think most people believe CoVid is real, but it is not as the mainstream media makes it out to be, and I believe that those who listen to fear mongering from the mainstream media are misguided individuals. I believe that those who are sick should quarantine, but if someone is "under the weather" why is the first thing...go get tested? Camp needs to run for the kids. To the ultra liberal individuals who run this group and most that comment on this group...the COGs are NOT the only ones to have summer camps. Most ALL summer camps have resumed, unless you live in the far left states that prefer to live in a state of fear. Look at the sports stadiums, those are full, look at the riots and protests, those are full. You cannot point a finger as COG groups, if everything else in this country is at normal. This people who run this group are fools! The only thing the fear is fear itself.
Someone will come along and post a rhetoric to response about this or that. You cannot convince me otherwise. I DONOT let fear in my life. I am in the health industry with a high degree, and I KNOW what is going on, and I also read studies and facts. You cannot be wrong with facts and stats. Fauci is a fraud, liar, and part of this whole issue. If you do not believe that, then there is something wrong with you.
Sheldon and his camp did not get it because a lot of them caught it at their winter family weekend.
When the has been a confirmed Covid 19 outbreak in a venue such as a summer camp, a professional deep clean throughout the venue needs to be conducted. I fully realise many will balk at such an rule but it is the only way such events can function in the long run.
It would be wise for the various Churches of God to invest in professional cleaning equipment and products of their own, to be able to carry out their own cleaning beforehand. Even send church employees on Covid 19 cleaning training. Touch point cleaning and deep cleaning is essential for the ACOG to function without covid outbreaks in this new normal. Especially considering how many COG congregations hire venues for services and events.
But alas no wise embracing of the changing times has ever been done in recent decades within ACOG leadership. Which are being highlighted (by God?) dramatically by the pandemic outbreak. Carrying on as normal, ignoring covid, stubbonly refusing to change, wishing it away is not the behaviour of great godly men.

So, will LCG now sweep this latest infection under the rug and claim they had it before they got to camp or they caught it out in the community like they claimed after the outbreak at the FOT in Branson, MO? Just wondering what lie we are supposed to commit ourselves to believing?? And don't expect to get an apology from HQ or a phone call of concern from any of their ministers....they flat out don't give a crap if you live or die. Expecting them to show care and concern only makes them angry.

Hey! I was there too in Big Sandy. The young red headed lad leading song services came up with it. I forgot his name, McSomething, but I remember it like it was yesterday. "You can't be a grump at the feast of tabernacles, but you can be happy if you've a mind too."
Amazing that only 99.8% of us have survived this deadly, global pandemic. And that was before the vaccines.
