In his endless quest to try and legitimize himself in the eyes of his African followers, our favorite Petulant Prophet of Possiblys and Great White Bwana to Africa, Bob Thiel, claims he has the integrity to be leading a rebellious splinter group of the Living Church of God.
The end time Christians. Notice what Jesus stated and something the Apostle Peter wrote:
19 If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you. (John 15:19, NKJV)
9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light: 10 Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy. (1 Peter 2:9-10, KJV)
This is a peculiar people. These are people who the world does not desire. These are Philadelphian Christians.
How do we know that Zephaniah 2:1-3 is related to Christians?
Because the decree is for the end time and because of what else God inspired Zephaniah to write:
3 Seek the Lord, all you meek of the earth, Who have upheld His justice. Seek righteousness, seek humility. (Zephaniah 2:3a)
The above is a reference to Christians as they are to be the “meek of the earth” (Matthew 5:5) and to Philadelphians who “have upheld His justice. Seek righteousness, seek humility.” These are Philadelphian Christians who understand that church leaders need to have integrity and are willing to be humble enough to accept the authority of a church led by a low-level prophet in the absence of a clear apostle (cf. 1 Corinthians 12:28; Ephesians 4:11-15). They are humble enough to not think that they should remain ‘independent,’ as many who once were part of the old Worldwide Church of God, during this Laodicean time, have done.
For they are the only ones who will actually ‘gather together’ as they should.
Why?
Because it is they who will lead the final phase of the work and it is only to the Philadelphians that Jesus promises to protect from the coming hour of trial, also referred to as the Great Tribulation and the Day of the Lord:
Who is the only Church of God in the 21st century to teach all of this?The [improperly named] Continuing Church of God.
If you are not in Bwana Bob's personality cult then you will not be able to flee.
If you are not with the group that is leading the final phase of the workwill you not be able to flee if you wait until the last moment? While that may be remotely possible for some, remember that God inspired Zephaniah to admonish God’s people to ‘gather together…before the decree is issued.’
Dreamy prophets are the way to go now in the Church of God. No other COG has such a fantastic dreamweaver than the improperly named "continuing" Church of God does. that alone should make every single one of us join his group. But, woe be tot eh scoffers and the doubters! How dare you!
Most will discount this and many will scoff. Most COGs do not have anyone considered to be a prophet, and in those other than CCOG who claim to have prophets, those prophets have been proven to be false. But the Bible says that there will be prophets in the last days and that God does communicate with them in dreams.
All Church of God groups currently in action today are nothing more than useless bumbling minuscule groups that run to and fro looking for a real prophet to lead them. The COG has never had a man more equipped to be a prophet than the one who is completely without error, which currently is Bwana Bob.
We in the Continuing Church of God “have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts” (2 Peter 1:19, KJV).”
Whip out those checkbooks and get on your knees and humbly repent before God for failing to acknowledge the ONE TRUE MAN that God has sent to lead the church to the place of safety.

Jesus Christ is our Apostle and High Priest!!! Why do we need a low level prophet? Or do we need a lowly, little Preaching Elder (as Gerald Flurry) used to refer to himself as?
These 2 guys and others always try to appear as being humble. They spend more time telling everyone about who they are, and try and legitimize their ministry. They somehow don't have time to talk about how Jesus Christ ministers to us. And that we should be following Him and not deceived men.

Bob is a very dogmatic fellow. He would not write about the "absence of a clear apostle" unless he believes there is indeed an apostie, but the apostle's identity is currently obscured.
Bob is a know-it-all. If there is an apostle, however unclear, Bob would be one of the privileged few who knew the apostle's identity.
Bob has already taught that a prophet has authority over every ordination rank EXCEPT for that of Apostle. This is one reason why Gerald Flurry eventually started to teach that he is BOTH a Prophet AND an Apostle, so nobody can entertain ideas of out-ranking him. So, if there were an Apostle out there, Bob by his own teaching would need to humbly follow that Apostle and bring his Prophet-following followers with him. Yet he hasn't done anything of the sort.
So, you can read between the lines, but you almost don't need to. Bob has convinced himself that HE is the next Apostle. The only question is when or whether he will announce this to the world.

Because Thiel believes in the Mickey Mouse Millennium (Christ imminently, possibly, soon to reign on earth for a 1,000 years during that MMM), has no idea of what "end time" really means, he has magically fabricated a false theory of Zech 2:1-3 being applied to "Philadelphian" Christians. Well, Bob may as well be driven by another spirit, and preach another Jesus and another meaningless gospel of his own making.
Christians, b/c of God's Spirit, will display meekness: a fruit of God's Spirit and not of self.
For Bobby and his followers, wouldn't inheriting the earth, which the meek shall do, be a step-down from Christians, who are going to inherit "all things?"

Bob's reasoning should be challenging to GOG theology; except COG theology never insists on illogic. He seems to be beseeching COG members when saying you need to be humble enough to follow him to make it to the place of safety. It's like he is telling them they are God's people - but, if they make the mistake of obediently sticking with their current min-sect, they will be lost. The fraction of people in the world that know of the low-grade prophet is minuscule. Even within the entirety of the fractured COGosphere, I bet there are only about 3,000 people (African dependents aside) who are vaguely aware of Bob. Even of those stuck to the LCG, many do not know him, or did a de facto shunning of Bob when he split from LCG - he left and they forgot him completely and forever (just like they do to their friends who leave). So, according to Bob, even humble, sweet, little, old ladies in LCG and other COG splinters, though they were called to the "truth" and strive to keep the law, are now damned just because they never heard of the dreamy prophet whose grandeur has only made it as far as his east ear is from his west ear.
By definition, a prophet is someone who speaks the truth God has revealed to him.
God gives His prophets special knowledge. They are more aware, not less aware, of what is going on around them.
As a prophet, Bob should know that Rod Meredith from the very beginning was being two-faced with him. A prophet would know that Rod praised Bob to Bob's face, but insulted and demeaned Bob behind Bob's back.
It is significant, then, that Bob tells the world that Rod thought so highly of Bob. One possibility is that Bob is deluded, in which case he is not a prophet. The other possibility is that Bob is a prophet and knows he is lying, in which case he is not really a prophet after all. Either way, it doesn't look so good for Bob.
Did anyone here know Bob when he was an ordinary WCG member while HWA was alive? Does anyone here know whether Bob had the same delusional sense of self-importance back then, or whether it was Rod Meredith who gets the blame for fanning the fragile ego of a wealthy and unstable donor and tithe-payer, turning a high-functioning autistic dweeb into a doubly-blessed Prophet?

I knew Thiel when he was still in WCG. He was the same self-righteous know-it-all that he is today. He thought his shit didn't stink then just as he does now. He tried his best to be buddies with Tkach Sr and got slapped down there just like Meredith slapped him down. He has always had grandiose dreams about himself and how important he is. WCGers laughed about him like LCGers do today.
What we seem to be witnessing here are a bunch of modern day Diotrephes, all competing for preeminence, waving their respective flags, and in the process lying to, confusing, and separating brethren. All these men are pointing people to themselves instead of to God, while claiming to speak for God and in some cases holding the place of safety over their heads as a threat. We also might do well to remember not to put our trust in men, and this one is no exception. Psalm 146:3-4 He isn't God, and has no control over who God decides to protect or not. Besides can you imagine spending three and a half years listening to him? That might be more like a tribulation than a place of safety.

What added things? Which Kingdom of God? For that matter, what gospel? Does Bobby have the only true gospel? Well, he thinks so, but...

So, Concerned Sister, it appears that the apostle Paul knew that others, by another spirit, would perhaps be seeking another Jesus and pursue another gospel, which would in reality be anything but "good news," perhaps some good news falsely so-called, but time is telling.
What is Bob Thiel following, other than SELF and his own vivid imagination of SELF? The same could be said of Doug Winnail, who remains part of the same blind, "dead," group Bob Thiel exodus'd from.

Because we use eisegesis tied to self-importance and fringe doctrines like BI and the Mythical True Church.
This prophecy is not about his little group and his eclectic pronouncements. It's all about Israel, and Bob should know that - "Christians" are grafted in as Paul explains in Romans. He's fortunate enough to be grafted in to a broken limb, and he can also be broken off.
Sorry Bob, but you need to humble yourself to the integrity of scripture. It's not all about you.

I don’t think he can technically be a prophet if he has not actually communicated a prophecy about something, other than his secret identity.
If the low-grade prophet has truly communicated a prophecy from God, I would have trouble believing God would intend a prophecy only being available to a handful of people.
