He's right, but for the wrong reasons. There is no possibility that Jesus will return before 2028. What Bob doesn't realize is that there is also no possibility that Jesus will return before 3028 or 4028. Why? Jesus already told his contemporaries that THAT VERY GENERATION would live to see his return. He died on the cross. Therefore, his resurrection WAS his return! To say otherwise is to make Jesus a liar, as he promised his contemporaries that they would see his return.

To 10:28, wrong again, the generation that Christ was referring to in Mt 24:34 was the end-time generation, which would see His return, not from the dead, but from heaven (v30). So why are you calling us liars when you deny that His return is near?
