The Kingdom of God arrived over 2,000 years ago! And, like the Jewish religious and Roman political leaders of that time, many of the folks within the Armstrong Churches of God seem to have missed it! Yes, hopefully, we are all still looking forward to the day when the reign of that Kingdom will encompass the entire earth, but the King has already been here once and continues at the right hand of God to the present day. Dave and his ilk do not understand prophecy - he doesn't have a clue about what God's plans entail or the Divine timetable for their implementation.

It gives me a deep appreciation for God's sense of justice to know the punishment which false prophets will eventually receive for the harm they do to sincere working folk who just want to live good lives and feed their families.
Sometimes, I wish God would do some things to these false prophets right now in real time, things which would make them totally unappealing, with zero charisma, and no persuasive power. Make it obvious that these guys are sociopaths and monsters. Unfortunately, people still follow repulsive individuals and monsters. There is just no explanation for some peoples' human nature.
