COG Chief Pharisee Believes He Has Doug Winnail and LCG Trembling In Fear

The Church of God has had over 8 decades filled with self-righteous, self-appointed malevolent men who have set themselves up as the know-it-alls of the Bible and truth. They foolishly believe they are the final men to get the end time message of their god out to the world and particularly to the Church of God. Some of them, like Bob Thiel and James Malm, believe they and they alone are the Elijah's to the Church of God.

Bob Thiel believes that the Living Church of God is jealous of him and his so-called ministry. After being profoundly and painfully rejected by his spiritual "daddy" for his aberrant beliefs, Thiel set off on his own doing everything he could to denigrate the Living Church of God for his dismissal.

James Malm, the official Chief Pharisee of the Church of God has sunk to the bottom depths of legalism after his wife and the rest of the Church of God's rejected his bastardized version of law keeping.

Malm has announced today that Doug Winnail has reacted to a series of articles Malm has done on "personal salvation" and "ecclesiastical authority."  Malm believes that Winnail and the LCG are UNABLE to refute any of his hysterical teachings.

LCG-  Doug Winnail is reacting to our serialized weekly posts on “Personal Salvation” and “Ecclesiastical Authority”  by promoting organizational idolatry!
Because they cannot refute the facts and doctrines presented on this site and at TheShiningLight; they are demanding that the brethren just follow them in whatever they do or teach, and refrain from asking questions: thereby setting themselves up as corporate idols and idols of men!  Thus fulfilling the Matthew 24 prophecy of Jesus Christ and the warning of Jude.
Malm is reacting to Doug Winnail's post that I put on this blog the other day:
LCG: Prideful Members, But Not The Prideful Ministry, Are Causing Issues In The Church

Humility—Key to Unity

King David wrote, “How good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity” (Psalm 133:1). The Apostle Paul urged Christians to “walk worthy” of your calling “with all lowliness and gentleness… endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace” (Ephesians 4:1–3). He stated that the work of the ministry is to edify (build up) the body (the Church) “till we all come to the unity of the faith” (Ephesians 4:12–13). Paul also told the contentious Corinthians that they should be “perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment” (1 Corinthians 1:10). In order to grow together in unity, we need to understand what causes contentions that disrupt unity. The Scriptures reveal that pride is an underlying cause of contentions (Proverbs 13:10), and that pride will contribute to a person’s downfall and destruction (Proverbs 16:18). Insisting on our own way also causes dissentions and strife (James 4:1). However, humility will eventually bring a person honor (Proverbs 15:3329:23), and true humility will promote peace and unity (James 3:13–18). Just as Jesus Christ humbled Himself and followed His Father’s instructions (Philippians 2:5–9), as Christians we must be subject to government (within and without the Church) and not resist authority (Romans 13:1–2). As we learn to exercise true Godly humility and treat each other with love and respect (Romans 12:10–18), we will promote unity within the body of Christ.

If you want to take Doug Winnail's entry above at face value, then it is quite obvious that Malm has ZERO humility and has absolutely NO DESIRE for unity.

Both Malm and Thiel do all they can to divide people and confuse COG members with their so-called Christian beliefs.

Plus, in their arrogance and narcissistic superiority, they both believe that LCG reacts to every single thing they write.  Really?  As if Winnal or LCG cares what either of them thinks!  LCG is no more worried about the rantings of these two self-righteous fools than LCG is with this blog.  Though it is well known that LCG closely monitors what LCG members write here, they do not care in the long run.  LCG's own self-righteous superiority is on par with James Malm's and Bob Thiel's. After all, they all come from the same abominable source that worships the law more than it ever has with Jesus.

So no, Chief Pharisee Malm and no, Elijah Bob Thiel, Living Church of God is not jealous of you nor does it care what either of you two thinks!

Satan Active In Everyone In The Church? A Typical Teenage Topic To Worry About?

This was taken from the Good News of February 1980. A Teenager wrote to the Editor with what he thinks should be a focus of the Church. Obviously, by reprinting this, the Editors seem to agree.

What do they agree on?

That Satan's after Herbert Armstrong.

That Satan's after the 18-year old author.

That the devil's after everybody.

That the devil's after the church - and that everyone should know this.

Where's Jesus in the picture? Anywhere? Bueller? BUELLER???

LCG: Prideful Members, But Not The Prideful Ministry, Are Causing Issues In The Church

When will Living Church of God members realize that ALL issues in the Living Church of God are the member's fault?  Since the ministry is above reproach the blame has to fall on the lowly members.  Never has the Church of God movement seen a church headquarters filled with the most unified and converted leadership as LCG has.  But in spite of being unified as a ministry, those dumb members keep screwing it all up.  Grow up!  Emulate us! Be ye perfect like we are!

Fundraising for God: Keeping Gerry Flurry's Family Jet In The Air

The Philadelphia Church of God, in its quest to imitate Herbert Armstrong in all things, decided that Gerald Flurry needed his own private jet so that he did not have to sit on public jets next to unwashed or germ-laden commoners.  An appeal was sent out to the PCG faithful to help him raise money to buy his family their own luxury private jet.  Church members held garage sales, bake sales, sold fruit, cashed in retirement programs and took loans on houses and business.  The coffers of PCG filled up.

Now, Gerald Flurry has to face the harsh reality of having to pay for this boondoggle.  All of those trips to England, Irish dance competitions, and to a select number of church areas soon started draining the coffers of God's most important work ever created in human history, as the mighty PCG boldly proclaims the Stone of Herb as the salvation seat for all humanity.

Directives have gone out from the holy city of Edmond to the faithful that they need to step up to the plate and keep Gerry's plane in the air.  They are to hold more garage sales, bake sales and to engage in any fundraising activity they can get involved in.
Illinois and Wisconsin Members Sell Concessions to Support Aircraft Fund
ILLINOIS—An average of 17 Philadelphia Church of God members from northern Illinois and from Wisconsin worked together at three separate evening events in January and February selling concessions at the Sears Centre Arena under the direction of Associate Pastor Eric Anderson and Chicago deacon Jim Privratsky Sr.
The first event was a sell-out country music concert that took place the night of January 20. By the end of the show, 18 PCG volunteers had brought in a record-breaking sales commission of $3,080, plus $813 in cash tips.
At the second event, 15 PCG volunteers raised $1,158 during a Monster Truck Nationals show the night of January 27.
On the night of February 3, 18 PCG volunteers raised $2,463 working a third event—a Professional Championship Bull Riders competition.
The combined profit from the three events amounted to $7,515. The funds will be added to the northeast region’s annual summer speedways and fall fruit sale proceeds and sent to headquarters in early 2019 to support the Church’s aircraft fund.
Wisconsin member Ben Tryba added, “This fundraiser was a great opportunity to spend time working with the brethren from Chicago.”
Chicago member David Privratsky noted how these types of fundraisers help unify the brethren, saying that working together was “a unique and special opportunity to interact with God’s people apart from weekly services; it helped strengthen the spiritual family bond.”
Did you notice the name of a couple people above?  Remember the Privratsky family from a few years ago?  Gerald Flurry's vile "no contact" policy led Janet Privratrsky DeGennaro to commit suicide.

Here we have her ex-husband and her ex-father-in-law raising money for the church that killed Janet.  Just how sick can people get?

The Church of God News further reports:

PCG members are being urged to take part-time jobs to help pay for Gerald Flurry’s jet – which he hasn’t used for ‘the work’ since his public appearance campaigns in January (Los Angeles) and February (Houston).
Fundraising for God’ (Philadelphia News, May-July 2018):
“God blesses us in many ways, and He asks for so little in return … tithes, holy day offerings and funds for building, airplane and other projects …
There are more than 100 Philadelphia Church of God congregations spread across the globe. Most of these congregations have few members … Even small congregations can make a big contribution through fundraising…
Chief financial officer Andrew Locher said that the Church received $200,000 in fundraiser donations in 2017…
So what are some practical fundraisers you can become involved in? Here are some ideas you can suggest to your local minister. One of the most profitable ways to earn money is to work concessions at sporting venues, which are always looking for people to staff their food and drink stands …
When I was serving as a minister in Michigan, we had a bake sale where one chocolate cake auctioned for $150!
