There is no evidence that the the seventh era can get salvation through this period [starting in Tammuz]. They’re councelled to buy gold tried in the fire and to overcome as Christ did. That’s gonna be after this period. So, that’s important to understand.”
There are people inside the Restored Church of God who wisely did not yet “sell all” before May 15th, May 30th, Pentecost June 5th, and before yesterday, June 14th. Why would anyone possibly think NOW is the time to do that? If they did not give it up with four recent “dates of failure,” why would any sane person consider the fifth?

Continue to to be loving and kind. Continue to give alms. Why is that stressed? Because we’re going into a dark period. It’s gonna be hard. People around you don’t love anybody. They have a tremendous amount of love, I should say, for themselves. They’re lovers of their own selves. That’s who they love. Intensely!”
2 Peter 2:3 And through covetousness shall they [false prophets] with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.

The message I get from this edict is that he knows he's going down unless they do sell all. He's burned himself as a reliable messenger from God because nothing that he says is going to happen ever does. So, the only question is, how many are going to trust him enough to go down with him?
Even if most do sell all, all that they are doing is kicking the can further down the road. The clock is ticking. If everyome gives their all, who can bail him out when they catch up with the can and need to kick it again? These are times when a bad economy will adversely affect even those who are on relatively strong footing.

Has anyone kept a running total of how many times he has been wrong regarding the second coming? Asking for a friend.

When I think of salvation, eternal life, I think of what God the Father, by the power of His Spirit, through His Son (I Cor 8:6) has already done by grace.
But when I read what Dave Pack has to say, what comes to mind is "lusts." For example, consider what Jesus and others had to say about lusts regarding religious hirelings (especially liars with great swelling words) of His day when He/they walked this earth:
John 8:44 "Ye are of [your] father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it."
Mark 4:19 "And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful."
Jude 1:18 "How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts."
Jude 1:16 "These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaketh great swelling [words], having men’s persons in admiration because of advantage."
Those words came out approximately 2,000 years ago, and it won't be any different "in the last time," apparently still ahead of us.
Could such verses apply to Dave Pack, and other such similar thinking former WCG hirelings who fled Pasadena, who all think they best keep their eyes/minds on the sources of $mammon$?
Jesus Christ of the Bible, not "another Jesus," considered mammon:
Matthew 6:24 "No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and $mammon$."
Luke 16:13 "No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and $mammon$."
When will these hirelings get their minds off of lusting for the seemingly unending $mammon$ and focus on the worship of God (not "god" or some Jesus they think is God of the Old Testament) the Father in spirit and in truth?
After "the last time," if not sooner, may tell...

Oh dear, that's not good christology; this was a heresy HWA inherited from early Adventism---the Adventists themselves later rejecting this and moving toward orthodoxy!

Phinnpoy, there would have to be a really dramatic accelerant to get Pack to snap to that extent. He's probably more likely to have a stroke or heart attack. Mass shootings are generally a young man's game.
@9:48, probably wouldn't be him, certainly a member who is been living on the razors edge for so many years, has no self-worth, no money, and no hope for the future. Person like this could do some real damage out ofdesperation and disappointment. DCP would have that on his head when he meets his maker, which isn't soon enough.

Use the money to gain eternal life? He sure diminishes what Jesus did for us. What did his death do, just provide a down payment on our salvation and we have to pay the rest?
There is no man on this planet that has the right to determine whether or not another person has or has not salvation. Where does he get the idea that he has this power? Does he think he's God himself? Talk about extortion, this is it for those who fall for it. My husband was pressured to pay, we got multiple phone calls and emails wanting to know about the money. There won't be any more coming from this address, my husband passed last fall so there is one less cash cow.
