Audio: The Clarion Call of Apostle David C Pack

An audio copy of "Apostle Pack's" Clarion Call has finally surfaced. I believe this particular sermon/rant was the beginning of Dave's and the inevitable end of the Restored Church of God in time.

This was a totally shocking departure from the practices of Herbert W. Armstrong at the time it happened, and I wondered if anyone would even consider remaining with RCG in its aftermath. HWA was an absolute master of portraying dire financial emergencies in such a way that his letters would never fail to cause a huge influx of donations in response. You might say he co-opted his members finances by coercion, but he never asserted that members would lose their salvation unless they gave him virtual ownership of all they owned. He linked obedience to his interpretation of Old Testament law to salvation, but realized that there were well defined limitations that he dare not go beyond. Dave Pack, for some reason, does not acknowledge the protections God gives those who choose to obey Him against tyrannical leaders. He twists scriptures to thwart these protections, all the while pretending that his failed prophecies do not indicate that he is not even God's spokesman, and therefore Dave doesn't even have the right to members' tithes, let alone all of their net wealth. In our modern parlance, Dave is running a "false flag" operation. It is not God at all whom he is representing!

He justified asking for large chunks of his members wealth by claiming that the work would explode in it's teach. But the exact opposite happened. Instead the donations went to creating a Marie Antoinette compound. I'm not surprised since a trait of moral decline is a hostility to contributing to the well being of others.

Well, I do have the guts to say that I do NOT believe klepto-Dave Pack-of-lies, the doctrinally unstable Bait & Switch scammer and “common” thief. None of Dave's many so-called “proofs” ever really proved anything. None of Dave's many prophetic date guesses ever worked out. Dave is doctrinally unstable so you never know what he will say or do next. All Dave's old literature can be deleted and changed at any time. Dave has been nothing but endless babbling and scribbling to waste people's time and scam them out of their money.

Evil. Pure and simple. Evil, greedy man. God have mercy on you, David C. Pack. That sermon will come back to haunt you...both in this life and the one to come, if you don't see the light before it's too late.

I will continue to pray for the members of RCG.

Yes! Right you are, 10:18. Dave Pack could be described as a version of HWA who lacks HWA's filters!

Just listening to this audio sermon from 12 years ago, the Dave Pack here sounds very different from the Dave Pack I just watched and heard in these two clips. He is really starting to look and sound like a shaky, little old lady. All that's missing is a shawl and some knitting in his lap.

We should, as without these greedy enablers Pack couldn't continue with his charade. Pack has found a group of people who believe they can purchase salvation with their donations, and who can become God by enabling the ramblings of a man who is given to consistently false prophecies. They put up with it because they are greedy to receive what he has promised them, which makes them as evil and unchristian in their own way as Dave is in his.

Comparing him to instructional videos on the net, it obvious that he's constantly patronizing his audience. Listening to him, I felt like a kid who hasn't t done his homework. It's a deliberate ploy to gain power over his members.

Some journalism essentials is missing: When and where was this sermon given?

Anon 12:31 Some journalism essentials "are" missing.

“The 1335 Days—What Most Will Never Hear, Pt. 1” (dated 10/27/07), Pack sets out to gain cooperation from his converts, while the “Clarion Call, Pt. 2” sermon (dated 11/3/07) was designed to gain access to their cash stash.

Banned is like the January 6 hearings, exposing the truth about anti-democracy groups and their leaders and activities. Just as with the followers of a certain political demagogue we all know, Armstrongites shut out what is exposed here.

Pack is nothing but a religious godfather. He sells protection and if one does not respond then they are hit upon as not being allowed into the kingdom. I hope that he will indeed receive his just reward. Perhaps he will be one of the many that Yahshua removes his head from the rest of his body.
