Dave Pack: I am this "burning shining light" that Christ described!

From an RCG source:

John the Baptist--background player, Elijah--ran some small colleges but Dave Pack, he is the burning shining light!

If you want to know how Dave sees himself, the following quote from 293 sums it up well. John the Baptist (Mat 11:11) even though he was the greatest messenger even born, pales in comparison to Dave’s splendor, a shining light who Christ Himself commends.

“John, the Baptist stayed in the background his whole life, about 30 years, until God showed him. The ancient Elijah was sort of up in Tishbe running some colleges, and the modern one is not thought of as anybody special... and of course he isn't special but I'm trying to explain...Until he just showed up, "Bang!" There he was. And EVERYBODY went to see him because he was this "burning, shining light" that Christ described!”

RCG: God’s Latest Revelations to RCG, were already revealed...2 years ago….

From an RCG source:

God’s Latest Revelations to RCG, were already revealed...2 years ago….

So while members in RCG are still waiting for Christ to return, there has been another upset in their prophetic picture. Dave after claiming the “Mystery of God” had been revealed and that there were no more messages, starts ANOTHER message with this:

“Now I wondered last week, if I should have closed with something like this, "If anything is yet to be explained, I reserve the right to come back and do this or correct a point or two when the series ended." But nothing, nothing, a move from what we learned there, there were nothing changed. Then something Titanic truly was added and I then knew one more message was needed.”

In general, Dave's latest prophetic messages show that he (Dave) is actually "a messenger" (about to be Elijah, even though he has already declared himself Elijah two other times, he rescinded those claims) preparing the way before the Father, (not Jesus Christ) who will come and setup a kingdom. Many of those who have left Restored (and Armstrongism) will be maimed, beaten, eyes gouged out by the "man of sin" and then some (many?) will be consumed in fire by the Father at the end of this period. This will all be proceeded by a "cloud of darkness" that will cover the whole earth and signal to the True Church that all this is about to happen.

Dave's "Gateway Prophecy" of last year, is essentially in shambles, since he taught Christ was supposed to return last year as Dave had prepared the way for Christ. Since Christ hasn't returned, Dave now understands that it's actually the Father, who is returning. That's why nothing happened last year (or any of the other times). However, now that it's being taught properly "the way is prepared."

While it’s unclear, it also seems like the 1,335 prediction from earlier in 2021 will be abandoned also, even though it was ironclad revelation from God. Time will tell.

For those of you who haven't followed Dave's ever changing predictions, he began claiming that the Father came first in June of 2019. In fact at the beginning of June, he predicted the Father would come as a "thief in the night," on Sabbath. Then, when Christ didn't show up Sabbath, he claimed Christ would be back Pentecost.

The morning of Pentecost, when Christ still wasn't there, he rushed out another message stating: "I want to go on the record and say that I knew nothing would happen today (Pentecost)...and I could tell that last night....Now that I know the FATHER IS COMING, that changes everything!" Then around 2 months later at the beginning of August 2019, it was decided the Father wasn't coming first (even though this was revealed to him by God) Christ is actually coming first again. Then at the end of August, after the picture was rearranged again, Dave declared the "Mystery of God has been revealed!"

Now, 2 years later, he is literally making the same claim again! Using the same verses. And the same reasoning. With the same ironclad logic. With God's authority. You really can't make this stuff up (but wish you could).

It’s hard to believe Dave keeps saying this despite it being unbiblical and other cult leaders using the same logic to support their peculiar teachings but he does: “The Bible is an "enigmatic book," but when God guides us to see things, then it's like, "Wow, how did we never see that? And now you can't see anything else?" It's so clear.!” I wouldn’t trust his track record of “clearly reading” the Bible.

The drama of an ever shifting prophetic picture has already played out in RCG, literally. The same points Dave uses today, he used years ago. Unfortunately, most don't remember, (or try not to remember) that all of this material was already revealed. Dave already “revealed the mystery” and already ended the series.

I am curious why the God of the universe would reveal not only false timing to His chief apostle but also juggle around the entire prophetic picture on a regular basis to "reset the clock."

David C Pack RCG "JAMES PASTOR- ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST!"

"RCG is the only extension of the one Church Christ built." Best joke of the day!

Poor Bob Thiel, the little guy just cannot get ahead with anything in the church.  All of those claims that he is the only COG doing the work now flies out the window.

There is not one single COG out there that is an "extension" of the "one Church Christ built. I hate to burst his bubble, but Jesus did not build a church. It was his followers that did that. If Jesus came back today he would be appalled at the Churches of God pretending to be authentic Christianity. He would be even more appalled at the state of disarray in the church. With somewhere between 400 - 700 different groups that have split off since Herbert Armstrong founded the church, the church is a moral cesspool of illegitimate leaders, corrupt ministers, and money-grubbing opportunists.

If Herbert Armstrong was alive today he would have kicked Dave's ass to the curb so fast that Dave's head would be spinning. Everything Dave preaches is against everything HWA taught, though Dave claims that God is personally delivering to him the things that He could not deliver to HWA. That's a load of bullshit. God is no more speaking to or through Dave Pack than he is through Bob Thiel, Ron Weinland, or Gerald Flurry.

Restored Church of God: Dr. James F. Pastor, Chief RCG Legal Counsel, and Rose Ann Pastor, Leaves David C. Pack’s Group

From an RCG source:

Dr. James F. Pastor, Chief RCG Legal Counsel, and Rose Ann Pastor, Leaves David C. Pack’s Group

As RCG passes part 290 in Dave Pack’s prophetic sermon series, reports are coming out almost weekly that increasingly more are abandoning ship. Several key people have left in recent weeks.

One notable recent departure is Dr. James F. Pastor, and his wife Rose Ann. Most recently, James served as the General Counsel & Director of Risk Management. Rose Ann filled the role of Campus Administrator at the nearly-defunct Ambassador Center. Prior to James having a fallout with Dave, Jim was also the Business Office manager, among other key roles. He also taught at “AC” (see inset photo).

Sadly, James and Rose Ann are perhaps some of the more professionally accomplished people to have been duped by Dave Pack. Jim is an author and an expert in his field (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_F._Pastor) and Rose Ann has two Master's degrees. Thankfully, they finally saw the deception of the man.

Other recent notable departures include Wayne and Dale Caudill of HQ, as well as Brent and Elizabeth Garrison, pastors of the Kentucky area.

All of these (and others) add to the mounting list of 140+ staff members (The 140 Ex-Employees of David C. Pack and the Restored Church of God) and scores of ministers who all stand as a testimony and witness...they have all had their scales fall off and now see the falsehood of David C. Pack.

The ship is sinking. It's not a matter of if, but when.

Dave Pack: [Ex-members] are people who sin a sin unto death. They start beating us, and giving up all the "laws of God" and go out and get drunk with drunks...But, they ain't all bad...

JC with his peeps...sinners, prostitutes, tax collecters, and other unclean people

From an RCG source:

Part 290 - Friday February 26th

Everyone With Us Go First!

“And I'm trying to be ever more careful to not have opinions. I'm convinced that there are people who leave this church and they are saints, and at the same time, they were expelled from the church by God, Who said, "If they're here last, they're going first and they're not going first." So you and I have to be very careful that we don't assume we won't spend all eternity with those people.

That's a sobering, and a very wonderful thing to think about. I'm trying to be more careful than ever because it's easy to fall into, "They left us, they're gone." Well I guess you could begin to say, there are people who sin a sin unto death. They start beating us, and giving up all the "laws of God" and go out and get drunk with drunks. Then it doesn't look good for them, from what I see. But a lot of them don't do that.

Now, they may not go with another group, but they may go home and don't know what to do. Because after you've been here, and you're disenchanted here, for some reason, no other group works very well. And those people bounce, because they go in and they see all kinds of collapsed standards, all kinds of problems, all kinds of dress, all kinds of attitudes, all kinds of beliefs and too proud to come back. They'll often go home, say, "wow, it was, it was really bad. It's kind of like what I heard" and you, and I might say, well, "Why don't they come back?" And the answer is, They're not going first, but even if they go home and doesn't necessarily mean that they're still trying to tithe, they're going to go somewhere for the Feast or hold onto their beliefs, don't judge them. If you can wallow with hogs and whores and blow your inheritance and get eternal life, then we shouldn't give up on them, like the prodigal son I'll return to my father. And when he did that, he was in a real bad state.

So I thought it was, It would be encouraging to think of it from that perspective. There are people who are leaving and I see it differently now. If you're here at the end, meaning you heard all of this, you're "going first." Some may have been blessed at the 1335, they accepted all of that, others maybe have to sign on and understand more things and then they are, and there are others who just, they bolt. But that doesn't mean they bolted and dove into the Lake of Fire or into the furnace or they're going to be destroyed by, by the God who is a consuming fire. A fiery indignation, you know, all the verses.

It may just mean, God said, I can't. I made a promise in the scriptures over and over. If they're here at the last, they made it through the whole long, difficult, wonderful, but sometimes painful process. They're "going first" end of story. So you cannot have anybody here at the end who's not going to go first, or it wasn't a true statement. Took me a long to figure that out, that everybody who goes out isnt a "mocker and a scoffer" who wants to run after their own lusts. Not everybody's the same. And again, I hope that I hope that is encouraging to understand.

So truly "The Mystery of God" is unfolding. Maybe it's better to say the "Mystery of God is Truly Unfolding." It is partially at least about how these two awesome beings work together in all they do as they work with us.”

Comment: In order to soothe the remaining membership, Dave claims, those who left his church actually could still “make it” and wouldn’t be destroyed by his god. That said, if you become a mocker, scoffer, run after your own lusts (e.g. not give all your money up in “common”) “beat RCG,” leave the diminishing and corrupt Armstrongist movement, or get drunk (?) then you will be destroyed by his god. That said, you still need to be in Dave’s version of the “True Church” to be saved, so basically copying Catholic theology.

Dave Pack: It All Comes Down to “Common” and "if people just "give up everything" they're going to "make it." "

...and then, you too shall be saved FIRST!

From an RCG source:

It All Comes Down to “Common”

“We're a church, unlike any others, who "sold all" and "gave it all up," others don't. That's the single chief reason we're "going first," because people who will do that, are going to do the other things God says. Not because He says "give me your money and I don't care what you do." People who will do that, all the warnings about love of money, your life doesn't consist of the abundance of things you possess, beware of covetousness, all those warnings, if people just "give up everything" they're going to "make it." Now, some can do that, and then fall backward and hopefully God can fit them in "second," if you will. We'll see how all of that works.”

Comment: While money can be the root of all evil, there are many examples of biblical figures using money properly. There are many things that Christians are required to do, but “selling all” and giving it to your church hierarchy is not in the Bible. There is hope though, even if you gave everything to Dave, but still decided he is a false prophet, maybe god can still fit you in second, so that’s good news!

Dave Pack: When this series is over you will receive Eternal Life

From an RCG source:

“Dumb Enough to Leave…”

“But there's people who are dumb enough to leave now! Cause it's "taking too long." No matter how many times Mr. Pack says, "Be patient, Be patient." They don't care. It's "taking too long!" and they leave, they don't care. "I'll give it a little longer" and they do, or they don't, and maybe they'll give up and they quit. They don't keep the word of "my patience." And if He's [Father] coming with Christ, then you gotta be patient. You have need a patience. Eventually you reached this point where its just a little while, "yet a little while" and we'll receive the promise, which is eternal life. When this series is over.”

Comment: To be clear, there are two messages in this comment. The first is, Dave is the one telling his members that Christ will return on a particular date. He isn’t telling them to be patient, he is the one who is setting the expectation and then after it passes, he makes these claims of “just be patient.” This is called “gaslighting.” Secondly, he claims the members will receive eternal life, when the series is over. The latest expectation was that the series was finished this past Saturday, so, I guess it’s not finished yet?

Dave Pack: And I have wrestled and wrestled and wrestled with this. And so have good men that I know."

From an RCG source:

“They Must Come Together!”

“But you go to the end of Malachi 4, and it's kind of interesting. You have to assume something, I mean, so far we just looked at two additional verses. You have to assume that Christ's authority doesn't begin to the second kingdom, but you can't be forgiven if he's not here "out of the gate." You can't argue with those things that you just can't, or you have to remake the scriptures. And I have wrestled and wrestled and wrestled with this. And so have good men that I know. And remember, if you want to accuse us, I'm not saying you do "Nobody's ever understood it before! so if it's better, late than never is good enough for me!" Because nobody's ever understood that, nobody is waiting for the Father. They're all waiting for Christ. And every Saint I ever knew was waiting for Christ. And it's impossible just on what we discovered and I'm scratching the surface here. It's impossible to not have God here "out of the gate," if He already reigned, impossible! But it's impossible to have anybody reign with Him, If Christ wasn't here to judge them! So if he already reigned, He reigned alone, and everybody else just kept going to church. So you have to have them both, but exousia comes to Christ in the Second Kingdom!”

Comment: Don’t worry about how Dave arrives at his conclusions, just remember that he claims the Father and Christ have to arrive together. It’s impossible to see it any other way...Later this year, when he changes his story again, ask “What happened to impossible?”

Dave Pack: "...I'm going to finish strong! And I want you to just be completely unable to get out of this, "this cell" I'm going to lock you in that God locked me in. "

From an RCG source:

“It’s the Days of my [Dave’s] Voice”

“Because I know what the "Days of my Voice" are. The Kingdom HAS to come as the "Mystery Goes Away," but I'm going to cover all of this. I'm going to drive it home and drive it home. It's prophesied over and over again. And I'm going to finish strong! And I want you to just be completely unable to get out of this, "this cell" I'm going to lock you in that God locked me in. I opened by saying, you know, I had to first be convicted and I am convicted, but that's fine for me, but I want YOU to be convicted. I want you to feel good all over. We've got to answer. Okay. Is there a difference between the "world to come" and "the end of the world?" How about that? What about "lands" and "houses?" We've got to go back to a lot of different things here, and they're all neat and they're all fun and they're all just, wow, they're easy now….

...Now ask yourself, If God had made this plain wouldn't, the whole world have known his plan? He didn't want them to know it, He wanted it to be a "mystery," including even to his people, because at the very end of the age, a lot of them would be doing a lot of things, they shouldn't have been! They would have been watching, when He wanted to see what their attitude was, but he had this little "micro-flock" who would kind of get things ready in a very difficult time. Not in the Philadelphian era, I mean, five years before Mr. Armstrong died, I heard him say he wrote it and said it, in a sermon that 30,000 people had already left the church five years before he died. So there's nothing new under the sun. All kinds of people have left the church down through the ages. So if people stopped leaving the church here, you almost have to wonder what's wrong. So people, you know, people leave and that's the way it is, but more come than leave. And that's good. Unless you have an apostasy. It blows everything to pieces as happened in the first century, happened in the 20th, and no doubt other times. So that's very helpful.”

Comment: The “Mystery” he references is his “truth of prophecy,” in his series. For starters, the mystery/confusion only is getting worse in RCG and secondly, biblically, the “Mystery” was revealed to Christians 2,000 years ago (noted in Colossians 1:26-29, Ephesians 1:9-12, Ephesians 3:3-7) as salvation through the work of Christ which was going out to the Gentiles. Not sure how there is room for another mystery or why Dave’s mystery is greater than Christ’s?

Dave Pack: HWA only had 10 or 15% of prophecy right, I have the complete knowledge

 Martha, Martha...

From an RCG source:

“It’s just like a Picnic...”

“So, this series in many ways is like "holding a picnic," In the Worldwide Church of God, we understood maybe 10% of what God was going to do. We had a lot of basics, right. Maybe you could say we understood 20%, but I would say it's closer to 10%, or 15%. Maybe now we're up to 90%, but I've found that it's the last, call it 10 or 15%, maybe you say 25%, that's more difficult. But people have WAY more than they ever had, when they were perfectly content. Only back then, nobody thought you should have more so they didn't even complain and say, "we're not having a picnic! why aren't we being told the rest of prophecy?" They thought they were. So everybody was at peace with 10 or 15%, it was great, ignorance was bliss. And they were ignorant, that they even were ignorant. Okay. So you start clearing away the debris and it takes years and as we get closer and closer, curiously, the "fussy kind of theological or prophetic "Martha-Martha" types," fussing over things they quit! They were perfectly content sometimes for 20, 30 or 50 years, to sit knowing practically nothing way, more than the Baptists, you know, or the Lutherans, but practically nothing compared to what we have now. Now this series was never going to answer everything we see through a glass darkly period!”

Comment: The members who leave and call Dave out as being a false prophet are labeled as “a fussy theological and prophetic Martha, Martha type.” How does he view the MANY NT warnings about false prophets, false teachers, false apostles, etc…? Maybe they could start keeping Sabbath on Sunday. I wouldn’t worry about the fussy theological Martha, Martha types to get all bound up over that. I would love to tell HWA to his face, that he only had 10% of prophecy right, that would be hilarious.

Dave Pack: All the beautiful hoity-toity people left the church and the non-beautiful ones stayed

From an RCG source with an excerpt from sermon 287:

Now whenever Mr. Armstrong used the term, "whenever God shook the tree" back in Worldwide, I watched this over and over, because I pastored more people than anybody ever. And I knew many, many ministers, and I just saw a lot. And it was part of my training. I noticed that all the beautiful people would always leave. All the "hoity toitys," the people who wanted to be seen and the flatterers, it was always at the end of one of these sweeping problems, like 1974 or other times, even in the apostasy, in the early nineties. The beautiful people would go over a cliff like lemmings, because their heart wasn't here. It was the non-beautiful people, who stayed. People didn't care, who “read” the beautiful people like they were a book, like they were "McGuffey's Reader," "See Spot Run." That's how hard some of them were.

And you know, this well-known evangelist's wife standing there talking to a bunch of other ministers wives said, "I'm so glad my husband is an evangelist so that, I can buy several mink stoles." And then she showed them her mink stole, what a filthy attitude. Well, she's long gone. Their husband's long dead, but I knew I knew her well. So the beautiful people would leave, like rabbits in a storm. The old timers, sometimes but when the going gets tough, the tough got going, and the rest got out! They were gone.

Now, the church is growing all over the world. We bring people to Headquarters and sometimes because you have greater needs at Headquarters--small church--you have to accept people who don't belong at all, even in the church, nevermind Headquarters.

But you can't tell, because the first flatterers the earth will see are not going to be during the first kingdom. There are other flatters, and they will come here and they may be, almost like "rocks "God raises up to Abraham, to help and do a certain work and then they're gone. It's like we were just on their "bucket list" and they get a "check mark" and off they go! That was it. "You didn't think I was serious about this did you?" Well, I drew a salary for five or 10 or whatever number of years, "You didn't think I meant it did you?" "I'm a fraud, I'm out of here!" But it would always have to be [that] things were a little tougher or didn't go like they thought it should. "I can't take this!" They practically stamped their feet and ran out, like a brat in the grocery store aisle.

And I just tell you, at the end of all of this, the people that come through, are the ones that trust in the Lord. "When the Son of Man comes, will he find faith in the earth?" The beautiful people who are always the ones that rise in power, they have more gifts and more skills and they're more in love with themselves, they're more self-focused and self-centered, and self-righteous, we would call them the “elites.” They believe God put them on to run the world. But as soon as he wants to run the world, watch for how many of them are gone. When you look for, you know, the house of the wicked, Psalm 37 says there they're gone in their house too. So, it's, it's a lesson to us. We stayed the course. It's part of why I said we stand first in line. We not only had to do this, we had to do it in the Laodicean age. And that was not easy.

The RCG source notes:

I do find it funny all us Ex-CGers were considered vile, ax grinders, heretics, opportunists, rebels....but now we are the BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE... gotta love it!

People In Restored Church of God Need To Hear From Us Former Members

From a comment in a previous post:

Sure wasn't any of that when I was giving on a monthly basis:

- First Tithe
- Tithe of Tithe
- Leftover Second Tithe
- Third Tithe
- Offerings
- Volunteering on the campus on Sunday landscaping
- Working Mon-Fri doing everything on top of my actual job
- Setting up and breaking down the halls multiple times on Saturday, opening doors   for people who never could say hi, bringing in food, vacuuming, etc.
- Fundraising Money
- I was paying on top of everything to attend Ambassador Center
- I dressed the part
- Never stepped out of line
- Said yes
- Shoveled for others and never had time to shovel for myself
- It goes on and on

But as soon as I cut RCG off and stop being a cash cow for them and free labor in many cases, I became all these things.

I sacrificed a lot, gave up my own path for a cause I believed in, and quietly like many others who needed something to look too, I gave RCG the best of me in all areas, and yet that was simply not worthy.

People who are in the RCG need to hear us, former members, when we say: "Why are you being faithful to a place and person who won't be faithful to you once you are no longer giving them $$$$$$$$$$$$ and free labor"?

I have sat at HQ before Dave Pack and heard him in real-time completely assassinate the character of HQ ministers/employees who would leave. A lot of these never made it onto the tapes/cd or online files because they were cut.

But I truly sat there as Pack would spit and rage over ministers and employees who would leave and hear him divulge details of their sins. He would never directly say but infer and when David Pack infers you can most certainly use enough common sense to know who and what he is talking about.

Over time I felt two things: 1. I cannot safely counsel with HQ ministers and 2. Something had to be wrong if every time a minister or employee left, Pack thought it necessary to go to great lengths to assassinate their character. Something didn't sit right with me about that and I just wanted to hear the other side.

It's not surprising when you hear it. You sort of expected it. It certainly is disappointed. Because you feel like you wasted time.

RCG members are conditioned to believe that any kind of questioning internally or externally = loss of salvation.

This is clearly evidenced in his recent sermon where he states that those who believe they have made it to 1335 are locked in, and settled.

David Pack has proven himself to be a false prophet and not one minister has enough balls to stand up at the pulpit and give a refresher on what a false prophet looks like.

You shall know them by their fruits is in the context of false prophets, remember that! Matthew 7:15–18

Testing the spirits is in the context of false prophets. 1 John 4:1

David's prophecy is from his own will, and he has a need to be right, to prove himself. 2 Peter 1:20–21

“I did not send David Pack, yet he ran; I did not speak to him, yet he prophesied".

Jeremiah 14:14
Zechariah 10:2
Jeremiah 23:16
Jeremiah 23:21
Micah 3:11
2 Peter 2:1–3
Matthew 7:15–18

The NT has a lot to say about false teachings and false prophets and yet there is no actual prophet in the new testament, that office isn't seen until two witnesses come later on. But why is that?

Dave Pack: The entire fate of mankind hangs in the balance if Israelite families aren’t fixed [by RCG members and ministers].

Yes, JC, it is true.
I am the ROD of Isaiah 11:1
and you are just the branch.

From an RCG source. Comments on Dave's sermon 286.

There is so much to comment on here, but I will let the message stand by itself.

So after a roughly 19-day hiatus, Dave has had time to rethink and retool his prophecy series since Christ failed to show up at the last predicted date. Unfortunately, there isn’t a lot of new material in Part 286, as these “newly revealed truths” were largely already taught in 2018 and 2019. He is back to foretelling a physical Kingdom, led by himself and RCG members that will rule the world prior to the return of Christ and the Father, which then kicks off another 2 kingdoms down the road.

Since the picture is changing radically from a few weeks ago, he decided to start giving short messages every day for the next week to update the church on his new prophetic speculations. Dave has largely given up on providing reasons for why he gets his predictions wrong, (even though they are coming from God) and chooses to rely on the old trustworthy, “God needed to show us more.” However, in a move reminiscent of Ron Weinland, he declared that RCG members made it to the 1,335 and they are now counting down to additional end times events.

From Wikipedia:

In 2008, Weinland wrote that "the final countdown has begun, as the 1,335 days before the actual day Jesus Christ returns began on Tuesday, September 30, 2008."

Perhaps the most striking revelation from Part 286, is that in order to be “locked in,” one must believe, accept and embrace his latest teaching on the 1,335. Forget historic Christianity’s founding principle that one must believe in Christ to be saved, it would be better to just trust Dave’s newest revelation. So much for Acts 16:31!

A few highlights (usually a paraphrase, except for where quotes are used)

0:40 - “Those who waited to the Sabbath of 2 weeks ago, reached the 1,335 and that math for many reasons cannot be undone. Now just think of us as at “1,321.” In my excitement and exuberance, I didn’t see that it just said, “blessed is he that waits and comes to this date.” It didn’t mention the Kingdom of God, Christ, or God, or Salvation, but the assumption was [to be clear this was Dave’s assumption] that that’s what it was, since we were “waiting.” But the reality was there was more to learn and no one saw that. The “bucks stops here,” I didn’t see it, but now we understand it. So we are done waiting for the 1,335, we are at the 1321. April 3, the Last Day of Unleavened Bread isn’t gonna change it's not gonna move. So the question is how much longer do we wait [until the first kingdom starts].”

3:30 - “The 1,335 calculated for us the year of creation, it’s an amazing story. I can now tell you what no one else knows, I know the year of creation and the ministers know it and they are affirmed to secrecy.” [then jokes about stoning the ministers in the snow if they tell anyone].

9:00 - I want everyone to be absolutely clear. I am going to take various component parts, that are very different from what we learned before and bring them together...It’s been about 19 days since I spoke, I thought the kingdom would come 5 days after that, and well here we are 2 weeks after that, and we are nowhere close to learning what will happen next… We need to drive home “bite-sized” pieces that I will give you over the next few days. We will only go 90 minutes and I will stop mid-sentence if I need to and we will pick up tomorrow. [Dave went 106 minutes, in Part 286)

10:00 - There is no way the Kingdom is coming before Monday! But the ministers, if they all stood up and I asked them to a man, “Is the Bible clear which day the Kingdom of God is coming?,” they would all tell you, yes they know. That's “candy,” that’s “the desert,” at the end of these messages.

21:57 - Behold I will send you Elijah the Prophet, that’s the “Messenger” before the coming of the dreadful “Day of the Lord,” we know that’s the Last Day of Unleavened Bread, thats April 3rd, lets say it very plainly, the Father is coming on the “Day of the Lord,” so is Christ, They are both coming after the 7th head. All Israel is back before the Father and Christ.

24:00 - There is a kingdom of some reach and power, when 4 billion Israelites are resurrected and live on Earth. We will need to fix Israelite families! The entire fate of mankind hangs in the balance if Israelite families aren’t fixed [by RCG members and ministers].

27:30 - I am certain of these things now, I am going to speak every day for an hour to an hour and a half, except Sunday) so you can have a clear picture of things that are so similar, but so different.

37:40 - The “master of the house” is the Father, not Christ! This is irrefutable, there is not one soul outside this room who knows or thinks the master of the house is the Father!

1:03:00 - RCG now teaches you need to accept Dave’s teachings on the 1,335 to be “locked/saved.”

“If you embraced, and accepted, and you believe the 1335, you understand it, then you were "locked" [saved] two weeks ago. You may see some people leave, very few as, as you've heard in the sermons and all the messages. We're growing, I think faster than we have in about a decade and in every conceivable statistic we're doing wonderfully well, but you'll see it, an occasional foolish person will drop out. Pray for them, cause they're coming to a VERY BIG RODEO and everybody's going to get included. You'll see how this all develops. Those people obviously didn't believe the 1335. You couldn't have believed it and believe it. It was basic math, and with some science and understanding of the calendar, it's fairly basic. If they believed it, they're settled. If you see people leave, they're being ejected because whoever's here "last" is going "first." If people leave, they're being expelled by God, there could be more, they're going to be expelled because they're not going to go first if they didn't believe it. Now, I just thought I'd clarify that.

1:10:20 - An attack is leveled at everyone who has ever been at RCG and left. One could ask, if over 140 people were employed at HQ and left, are they the problem, or is RCG?

“And there was one era of God's church [Restored over the last 22 years] that had to work in this murderous, wicked environment. Where people among us would attack us, lie to us, lie about us, steal from us. We've had criminals, heretics, every vile person, every kind of ax grinder, heretic, opportunist, rebel you could ever imagine has been in this work over the last 22 years. Mr. Armstrong saw as many and worse, but it was a longer period of time, in a smaller church. We had to do the work in the Laodicean age. And we had to build this campus, with very few of us pulling really hard, selling all that we had. And God says, you honor those people because they lived in the rotten generation. The one I'm going to punish in the Day of the Lord, you put them at the head of the line. They're different.

They came through almost their own fire before the fire. They're going first. That's the only way you can understand it. Since we're all going to receive the Kingdom at the same time, there's no other way to understand it. And having been in the ministry, for I'm going on almost 51 years now, I've watched the world change and I've watched God's people change. We're not doing the work in the age of brotherly love and the Philadelphian era. Again, people come lie to us, lie about us, sow division, come looking for jobs. God will sort it all out. "I wish them all well." (publically Dave will say this in sermons but privately, in conversations, to the ministry, etc… he viciously attacks these people.) Let them go. If they're still there and invited, they're not going first, but don't rule them out. Judge nothing before the Lord comes, I Corinthians 4:5. So I wanted you to understand once and for all, why we go first.”

1:39:57 - Dave claims he is the “Rod” of Isaiah 11:1 and that Christ is the “Branch.” Virtually every Bible commentary (Christian and Jewish) understands this to be Jesus Christ or the Messiah. However, Dave claims that verses 1-10 actually apply to him personally when the “first Kingdom” starts in the next few days/weeks.

It is quite obvious from any translation that Isaiah 11:1 refers to the same personage, not two different ones. As near as I can tell, if you claim to be a Christian, then taking one of Jesus Christ’s roles is blasphemy and something of a position one wouldn’t want to be in.
  • NASB - Then a shoot will spring from the stem of Jesse, And a branch from his roots will bear fruit.
  • NLT - Out of the stump of David’s family will grow a shoot—yes, a new Branch bearing fruit from the old root.
We could ask, when this year comes and goes with no return of Christ and no fulfillment of these days as predicted, will Christians who claim they follow the Bible do the right thing and leave the work of a false prophet?

Dave Pack: I know when God arrives, Now I just have to figure out when Christ arrives...

We never know today what will come out of Dave's mouth due to the absolute craziness over the last few years. He does not disappoint today.

Brief Note From Mr. Pack

Greetings brethren!

The Church is on fire with what we have learned—and particularly the 1,335 understanding! Everything is on track!

Be assured, the overall prophetic “superstructure” remains intact. In fact more has been learned that strengthens the picture.

I will give a short Bible Study to be posted tomorrow night. In the meantime, here is something to “puzzle” over…

Read Ezekiel 21:24-26. Now an enigma. Verse 27 adds, “and it [the crown] shall be no more, until He [Christ] come whose right it is; and I [God] will give it him.”

Think! There is a gap between the events of verses 24-26 and Christ’s coming to David’s throne to wear the crown. How could this be?

The answer is shocking! We know when God arrives. The question becomes:

When does Christ? Enjoy trying to figure out Ezekiel 21. Wait until you hear all that it opens up!

David C. Pack

P.S. A member/co-worker letter will finally arrive next week. You will learn why the delay.

Restored Church of God: Edward Winkfield III

Edward Winkfield III

From an RCG source

Bradford Schleifer is not the only man holding apostle Dave's signet. Edward Winkfield has been successfully climbing the ranks of RCG Headquarters' leadership for over a decade. With so many having left, Ed's political savvy has allowed him to slip into influential roles.

Word on the RCG street is that he is contributing to the darkness of RCG. He is also strengthening Dave's death-like grip on brethren's minds with messages enforcing Dave's way, not God's.

History is revealing that the most political are the the ones staying and thriving in David C. Pack's cesspool cult.

It's time to share our collective experience of the key people surrounding and giving power to David C. Pack.

What would you say to somebody who has served Dave for over 10 years? Who has witnessed the resignation of scores of HQ employees and ministers? Who, when Dave Pack has become truly delusional and dangerous, has doubled down and held up the charade?

Share your feelings below. Perhaps we can help him...

David C Pack's Words Come Back To Haunt Him

From a reader:

More highlights from David Passover Christ's Is 'That Prophet' Alive Today?

Page 80:
When such suddenly-elevated leaders give themselves over to urges of “new understanding,” they are actually completing the cycle of “falling into the condemnation of the devil.” Too unskilled in the scriptures (particularly passages about prophecy) to resist the “deeper insights” they feel are coming to them, they wind up yielding to demonic whisperings in their ears. As these men become conduits for fallen spirits, they pour out pure garbage on their followers.

The result is that they destroy far more people than just themselves—and in the end they do always destroy themselves! I have seen it all too often, with name after name—past and present—coming to mind as I write this.

Page 46:
Saul was vexed, and often outright possessed, by a demon. The unwitting and fearful (which was apparently almost everybody in Israel at the time) continued to follow him anyway simply because he was “the king”—and this led them to eventually conclude that he was “among the prophets.” Fear gripped the majority—while only a few hundred people chose to follow David until Saul died! The lesson is that despite the fact that Saul had become a crazy demoniac, most of his subjects continued with him anyway!

This account should truly sober you! It is a characteristic of false prophets and demoniacs to bellow, rage, belittle and attack other people—sometimes relentlessly—to elevate themselves. Apparently, Saul also had a particularly murderous spirit, which repeatedly tried to kill David, or have him killed. Saul became abusive. Yet, few had the courage to stand against him, because he was “the king.” Over time, Saul became a “Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.” One moment, he could be warm, friendly, charming, and David’s best friend, and seconds later a raging murderer seeking to kill David!

Be careful if what is being described is a pattern visible in your leader. It is not of God.

Page 48:
…within the understanding that demons are actually the ones inspiring a false prophet, it is God who has sent one or more of these spirits to fulfill His purpose, which can also be to present a test to God’s people regarding whether or not they will follow those He has not sent.

If a prophet is sent by God, every one of his prophecies will always be perfectly accurate—no exceptions! He would not merely be close to the timing and truth of events “foretold.” He would always be completely correct, if God was sending a warning through him. Never forget this, because God is always right!
