Comment: While money can be the root of all evil, there are many examples of biblical figures using money properly. There are many things that Christians are required to do, but “selling all” and giving it to your church hierarchy is not in the Bible. There is hope though, even if you gave everything to Dave, but still decided he is a false prophet, maybe god can still fit you in second, so that’s good news!

Imagine salvation being assured by how much you give and if you give it all. What if someone held back a little ta take care of health reasons? Would they get partial salvation?
Nowhere does the Bible say that money is the root of all evil. NO2HWA ought to know better.
What it says is that the LOVE OF MONEY is the root of all evil. Clearly, Dave loves his victims' money more than the victims do. There's your evil.

Dave is telling the members that they don’t need to take care of their health because Christ is coming soon, and they will have perfect health once he has arrived. And also that they will have ‘healing powers themselves’.
