It is time for the Friday Night Smackdown from Doug Winnail. LCG members apparently are not too keen on "valuing the truth".
Remember that LCG is a by-product of Rod Meredith, so just like clockwork, the gays are the issue. Where would the COG be without bringing sex into every conversation? While their own organization is riddled with sexual and other sins, it is always more important to gaslight others.

How can the Sabbath be profitable when members are constantly doing something wrong? Sabbaths were meant to be restful and to be enjoyed with family, not constantly being beaten over the head and spending countless hours wrapped around church attendance every Saturday.

Winnail is such an idiot. If he actually believed in that kingdom he thinks is coming then he would know that it would be a world focused upon Christ, not on some book that will have no relevance in a kingdom to come other than as a history book of failures. Why would anyone want to look back?
Doug, you want me to go back to the Bible? Well, then, shouldn't I be killing Amalekites? Will you find me some Amalekites to kill? Or can I ignore that part of the Bible? Or treat it as a non-literal instruction to go and kill people God hates?
At one point, Doug was seriously teaching that LCG members should study city planning and public health in this life so they could be more profitable servants as kings and priests in God's Kingdom. Is he still teaching like that?
I hate to burst old Doug's bubble, but the Adventists also teach that they are the one and only true church of god and their purpose here on earth is to point people to the truth found in the Bible.
Unfortunately, both groups think their literature (booklets from Acog leaders and books by Ellen White) are necessary to understand the Bible. Everyone is too ignorant to actually understand Scripture ourselves. We need modern day "prophets" to interpret it for us. Exact same so called god given commission and exact same so called god's one true church lie.
Doug will be gutted. Some other false prophet beat him to the punch. Heck, Ellen White even beat HWA to the punch. But have a profitable Sabbath Doug!

God did not inspire his prophets for no reason so they read the Bible as a history book like we read history books today.
I'm amazed by how many people don't even understand where they are placing their faith when they talk on and on about accepting the Bible and living by its words.
The Bible wouldn't even be the Bible if men hadn't sifted through the many Gospel narratives, histories, letters and philosophical texts circulating in the early Christian world. We must come to one of two conclusions:
1. There are inspired books that aren't part of the canonized Bible, or
2. The real inspiration was with the canonizers, and most of the people writing Gospels, histories, letters and philosophical texts were not inspired. This also means that Paul's writings were inspired some of the time, and uninspired some of the time.
Doug should do some research about how the currently accepted books of the Bible were canonized. He would be singing a very different tune if he did.

That may be true, but when an Armstongite hears this they know immediately in their mind that those people are wrong. No one on earth is the true church except for the COG. The Catholics also proclaim this and every COG member knows in their heart this is wrong too.

Spirit of Truth, more like the spirit of error in that British Israel doctrine (trying to make it like its vital for salvation).
Dirty Doug Winnail does not value the truth of the Gospel; instead, he rejects the Doctrine of Justification – the only process by which believers can be righteous, by the perfect righteousness of Jesus being given to the believer.
As Doug remains sinfully dirty amidst his attempts to be righteous via his own efforts, with this post, he executes the ACOG dual maneuver of smackdown plus puff-up.
The smackdown is the condemnation that LCG members do not value COG version of truth enough to be worthy of salvation.
The puff-up is the indoctrination strategy employed by the COGs to make their people feel they are superior to their neighbors, who all engage in “homosexuality, transgenderism, and other perverted and immoral behaviors”.
The opposite of loving your neighbor, feeling superior to them, is not logical because any amount of sin makes you as guilty as them and labeling any sin as dirtier than another, does not make your sin justifiable.
The only way to be acceptable before God is to be covered by the perfect righteousness of Jesus – they very truth dirty Doug does not value and will not teach his church.

Why in the world would Winnail expect LCG members to be pointing people back to something in the world tomorrow, particularly to a book when the living Christ dwells among the people? The logic of Armstrongites is shockingly bad.

Doug cannot help himself as he continues to be driven by another spirit, which inspires Doug to preach another "works" Jesus and another "works" gospel. Go read some of Doug's earlier writings where he emphasizes the need for one to qualify for salvation by fulfilling what he calls "requirements" and "prerequisites."
The Jesus of the Bible is very familiar with truth, but Doug is so deep into a spiritual ditch that he cannot see above that ditch and might just as well be among the blind leading the blind:

When will Doug acknowledge the truth of these words of Jesus, inspired by the God of the Old Testament (His Father and His God)?

If God is trying to turn the world to true values through the LCG, He is a miserable failure!! Since He is perfect, apparently the LCG is NOT with the program!! That doesn’t stop their assiduous attempts to convince people otherwise!! They are a tacit failure because they have jumped ship from their very start!!

I just pray that dirty Doug, false prophlet Bob, Burger King Flurry and rat's Pack will read your words and think about them. It is never too late, even for false apostles and prophets, to admit their errors and come to Christ and be saved. Now. In this life. Peace, joy and certainty of our identity in Christ and our salvation are a daily reality. Not a means by which to exalt ourselves over others, rather the means by which we exalt Him!
I agree with Doug, the Spirit DID lead me to all truth!! That is why I **LEFT** the LCG a L. O N G time ago!! There IS a spirit there but it is *NOT* GODLY!! If they were of God they would SPEAK THE WORDS OF GOD!! Like the last person who eloquently stated: “the means by which we EXALT HIM”! Who did David exalt?????????? David was a man after God’s own heart!! Doug’s words stand in stark contrast to the words of David!!
